A good interesting video..Before the P.M statement, I was watching a debate in the house of Lord's and it was mentioned that there should be a less confusing situation of the way you pay for charging an E.V. One Lord stated that there were to many cards that have to be in your pocket.
May be a talking point in your next video.

That lord was right, of course. I've had to add a notation to the video where I talk about the 2030 ban because the video was recorded the week before Rishi changed it :)

It's now November 2023, and this bill has been passed, and it states all new E.V public chargers must have a contact less payment pad on chargers

hi Paul in one of these vids with Euan I'm sure he mentioned a Scottish company doing something in connection with aftermarket leaf batteries .. something akin to what EVs enhanced have promised to do in NZ? do we know anything more?

      amtepower.com/
Nothing to report from them, I'm afraid.
I nearly said during the interview something akin to 'Perhaps the best thing that could conceivably happen to Amte Power is that they get snapped up by a conglomerate', but Euan seemed emotionally invested so saying that might have come across as trite and would have likely been cut in the edit.
I'll ask him on Xwitter if there's any news.

great thanks @@NissanEVOwnersUK i saw his response . would be a fine thing .. importing batteries from NZ sounded promising .. but frankly also a bit nuts!

Tom, the second interview references EV Enhanced too. I talk with Brian about his 40kWh upgrade in Western Australia

I didn't know they'd started fitting them, will have a look.
just to clarify it was the idea of shipping this far rather than the concept itself . a new battery w/new tech would extend the leaf indefinitely @@NissanEVOwnersUK

Just to clarify Ev Enhanced modified the BMS and other stuff, but the actual swap was done by the car's owner
