Legendary Legacy mine is so hot And cold, comes back to say hi and then leaves and i won't hear from her for a while and so on. I never reach out because I got broken up with, So in that case I can only work on myself and keep faith, try and put good vibrations out there as well, it's hard to when you stress out like crazy but you can. Im in the middle of my 3rd heart break. This 3rd one is the worst because I believe she is my soul mate. Anyways, the previous 2 came running back to me. Why? Because I was being myself and making myself happy. I turned down the previous 2 when they came back because I was happy without them. At the end of the day, that is what it is all about. I have been away from my 3rd for 4 months now. At first, I contacted her non stop. For the last 3 months, I quit talking to her and started focusing on my well being. I recently found out that she has been asking about me. I still love her like it was just yesterday. But I want to know that by the end of that day, I am still happy. Happiness depends on us. this makes a lot of sense. although it's really hard too, because everyone says focus on your self don't do it for her/him but how can not when after the break up all you do is think about them, what I'm doing is changing myself because I know exactly what my problem was, but also I'm going to counseling to fix those problems, and started to go to church which its helping me a lot, not dating because I've done it before after other break ups and it never helped me, all I'll do is talk about my problems and girls don't want to hear that lol so I'll skip the dating part but I am spending quality time with my kids, which makes me happy. :)

My thing is me and my ex broke up a year ago, we didnt see each other for 6 months until my birthday which was a couple months. This is true. I left my ex and never wanted him back. I even blocked him from my phone and Facebook. About six months later, he changed his number to call me and got a new Facebook to contact me. I still don't want him, but we are friends because he is nicer.
Thank you Ashley for your counseling. I have been through a break from a relationship of 3 years. All I can say is that the recovery takes time. I strongly encourage everyone who is going through a break up to invest in yourself. In the beginning you probably are devastated. That's ok. Recovery is a step by step process, that happens little by little. Only time will heal your wounds. In the mean time expand your horizon. Do sports, learn another language, educate yourself, see the world, work hard at work. Try to live by yourself and for yourself. Find out who you are and when you understand yourself, you will be happy and know what to look for in a partner.
What you need to do is not call and believe me it works.
Just be yourself, but REMEMBER to not project any negativity. We take things for granted, and only when we lose them we know how pressious he/she is to have in our life. Having a partner/companion for life is the biggest blessing one could ask for! I know that personally. Lonliness and uncertainty of the future is depressing! Love is happiness"

I can relate to what you said about break ups being common after stressful events. I was fired on the spot, while dating this girl in Japan a few weeks ago. As result I was kind of sad, and vented my emotions to her. Suddenly, she started avoiding me for like 3 weeks before finally breaking it off with a text. I used to make her smile like the sun. She would text me til' 2 am every night and send 20+ pictures a day; told me how romantic I was and how good I made her feel. Thanks for your advice.

Even though she left me after i told her i wanted a little space to get through personal stuff. I panicked and realised how desperate id shown myself to convince her to stay.
i actually forget that i needed space..lol.

But im glad to still have alot of contact as it helps me to slowly move her from deeply loving her over to a great friend.

Be a strong solid state that is the best advice I've ever heard in regards to break ups and dating in general. I was depressed after my girlfriend broke up with me and trying to get her back but what you said makes the most sense to me and it really opened my eyes because I was really depressed trying to figure out a way to get my Ex back and I think your advice is the only thing that would maybe get her to come back with me. Should i still have hope or not, my gf broke up with me because she said she was unhappy with where she was in life and unhappy with herself and she said it had nothing do with me because she says i was perfect.... she broke up with me on Nov. 14, we sitll talked a bit but in december i felt her more cold and then i saw her for my 21st bday, and then 3 weeks after that to really kinda end things. Excellent video! Winning your ex back for good isn´t complicated but it does take time and determination. Shift your focus away from your ex. Commit to stop being needy and go no contact. Take steps to work on loving yourself first. Look back at the person you were that your ex first fell in love with...what can you do to get back to being that person again?

What happened? as this just recently happened to me. We met when he came over to my country for the year and ended up falling in love, and been together for 7months. Well, after I've watched this video I realized that basically you are not able to do anything in order to return your ex. Ashley could have done this video way shorter.

Also you should avoid texting anything deep for this period, even if she wants to get deep. Just play it cool and show her you are not overly interested but you respect her and her space. Be very friendly. In order to get her back, its alot easier to start as friends first. If you have the luxury of a friendship thats the first step. It can happen. My ex contacted me after 6 months and he broke up with me. But now I am so angry for what he put me through, seriously! I prayed for this day to happen, but would bet on my life it would never happen. Six weeks earlier, I had called him and he really treated me like garbage, saying he had a new gf.
