you're talking like the ex is still our partner . If their an ex , there's generally NC... very few of these apply if you're in NC...

In another video but you on the same subject on another channel, you say we need to go and be happy. That is easier said than done. Everything that would bring me happiness is something my ex and I used to do together. There are now daily reminders of her. It's been 4 months quickly going on 5 and my pain gets worse as each day and week goes by. No healing, Ashley, certainly no happyness. Your advice just isn't possible for everyone. Mine would never talk unless I initiated the discussion then I would find out why she was treating me like I had cheated on her. My big event was January 1 with a text that said “you have done a lot of nice things for me but we don’t belong together”. WTF? That was it. No further explanation. No discussion. Just a basically FO! Luckily, the actual “relationship” was short but, I had fallen for her way earlier. The hazard of being an actual nice guy, not the manipulative nice guy. Some times the person is just damaged in their thinking. Some times they allow their family members to influence their decisions too much. I suspect this to be the case here.
Unfortunately that's the case with my ex. She had friends and family agree with her decision and/or she heard from them what she wanted to hear. SHE NEVER HEARD FROM ME. She shut out my opinion. 4 months now it's been. I've reached out and tried to get her to remember who I was to her, who we were to each other. He reason for quitting was petty at best and she didn't want to work on us, she wanted to instead find someone to replace me . . . that happening after we each knew so well that we weren't replaceable to each other. It's a damn tragedy and I feel for anyone who loves their ex so much when they won't talk to them to try it fix it. People should not do this to another when they have no idea what that their actions might just totally destroy someone. That's what's happening to me. I can't take this pain much longer. No healing, the suffering only gets worse and I'm scared. There should not be moving on separately. There should be an us. I'm so broken.
