Galaxy Tab E Charge Port Replacement

- In this video I will demonstrate how to remove and replace the micro USB charge port on a Samsung Galaxy Tab E.

Great video but I think you give yourself more work to do. You could have removed the charging port less than 1 minute by using thermal Heat transfer

I know this is old but what about the solder pads under the port
do you know where the pins on the lcd connector can be jumped to, have 1 with missing pads and cant find where they go

I have a Tab E. Today it is dead, but when I try to charge it only shows a circle with a lightning bolt. No battery icon or anything else. Won't turn on either. Any idea what that means?
That may be due to the battery getting discharged too far. You might try using a low output charger first as your tablet charger may not be able to charge the battery in it's current state. Sometimes plugging in and disconnecting repeatedly might get it up far enough to accept a charge if that makes sense. Lithium ion batteries don't react well to draining 100%. Otherwise a replacement battery/inspecting the inside of the charge port would be my next steps.
Thanks. After leaving it plugged in most of the day, it finally has started charging. Must be the battery getting TOO low, like you said.

bought a replacement connector with a snap in flex shit that does not existe... f#$%... now i need a heat gun, and another connector.. why are they selling "Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 T377W Charging Connector Flex Cable Replacement" if the module dont fit in the damn thing
