What type of Flux do you use? What make is your what gun? How do u apply the solder to each of the small connections without the solder crossing over and sticking to each other?

I'm just using a random type of flux. I don't think there is much difference between types of flux for this type of fix. Flux just keeps the solder from sticking together. Heat gun is from ebay. And using just the right amount of solder keeps the solder pins from sticking to each other.
I would say that if you are asking that many questions about this fix, then get a professional to do it for you. I don't mean that offensively, but this isn't an easy fix

it's set at 380 degrees Fahrenheit.

i suppose you could with a soldering iron and a wick, but you would have to soak up all the solder before the charging port could move. It's much more difficult with a soldering iron
