It’s crazy how Kristen wigg voiced both ms Hattie in the first despicable me movie and Lucy from the second movie onwards. 2 completely different characters.
Funny story, when I first heard that Kristen Wigg was returning in the sequel, I didn’t know she was voicing a new character. I thought Miss Hattie was coming back. But I’m glad she voiced a new character instead of the same character from the previous film.
I still haven't seen Sing 2 but after seeing him as top one in your list, now i wanna see it! It's rare today to have animated villains who are no-nonsense, threatening, and scary! Most animated villains in movies today are just silly, comedic and always doing jokes thru the whole movie that it honestly gets pretty old nowadays. But jimmy crystal?? Man, after the way how you explained about why he is an amazing villain, already has me curious to watch the movie 😄 Great video by the way! I hope you make another villain list! They're pretty fun to watch and hear about your opinions about animated villains 😃
Delicious, finally an internet reviewer that doesn't blindly hate Illumination for being popular I was so happy to see Jimmy at number 1. He's one of my favorite characters of all time. For as much of a bastard as he was, he didn't feel one dimensional. He had every right to be angry at Buster given that he lied to him, took over his theater, and attacked his security. What made him a villain is that he let his unhinged nature take over and attempted murder. For the most part, Jimmy never did anything out of wanting to cause harm. He has an extreme mindset where he views his actions as justified as long as the "perpetrator" had it coming. A decade ago I said that illumination was bad at making villains with the exception of El Macho. Now with Jimmy Crystal and Bowser this proved they have improved

Jimmy deserve easily this place. But with Bowser in the game? Hard to me, but I still prefer Jimmy, because he is more menacing, but Bowser is more funny. I personally think that Balthasar Bratt should be a few spots higher, for me he is the perfect combination of quite fun to watch whilst also being among the most actively threatening Illumination antagonist
While not as Great of Villains like Disney,Pixar,DreamWorks, and Blue Sky Studios, for the most Part Illuminates has Some Good and Solid Enough Villains that the can be either Underrated or Overrated, while can Somewhat Agree and Disagree with this I will say that by far Jimmy Crystal is the Best,Creepy, and Terrifying Villain of them all.
What do you think of Sony Pictures Animation villains?
@@lexramstudios1386 they are kind of a Mixed Bag since we got a Few Good Ones and many terrible ones.
@@featherguardian6023 how would you rank them?
@@lexramstudios1386 while my memory is Foggy at this point I will go like this:
15.Vampires Hotel Transylvania 2
14.Smiley Emoji Movie
13.Puddle Open Season 2
12.Hunter Open Season
11.Leonard/Pig King Angry Birds
10.Van Helsing Hotel Transylvania 3
9.Tank Surf's Up
8.Queen Victoria Pirates
7.Mayor Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
6.Cester P Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2
5.Slappy Goosebumps
4.Zeta Angry Birds 2
3.Gargamel Smurfs
2.Pal the Mitchells vs the Machines
And 1.Kingpin Into the Spider-Verse.
Let’s hope that Belle Bottom from minions rise of gru will be a great villain.
0:35 And although it was never specifically said in the film the directors confirmed that O'Hare became so rich that he bought Thneedville becoming its permanent Mayor
Vector, to me, will ALWAYS be the best villain
he’s the perfect mix of a comedian and someone honestly quite threatening, even though he has to rely on his own father for his gadgets and stuff
plus he’s gonna appear in a new short where he tries getting OFF OF THE MOON meaning that vector could potentially be the villain of the fourth movie, which can give him even MORE POTENTIAL and could even make him BETTER
My ranking:
14: O'Hare
13: Miss Hattie
12: the bears
11: Carlos
10: Balthazar bratt
9: the Vicious six
8: the Once-Ler
7: Sergei
6: Vector
5: Snowball
4: Jimmy Crystal
3: El Macho
2: Bowser
1: Scarlett
8:34 Plus I like how Hank Azaria gives Carlos a Spanish accent which surprisingly suits him
I prefer Biggering myself.
that is until bowser dethroned jimmy
from the peaches song, to the giant floating castle and he managed to imprisoned luigi
Don't forget Jack Black as his voice actor
Balthazar Bratt is essentially a villainous embodiment of Randy Marsh with a mullet.
Honestly, if they used some other things in the movie (cough, cough.) *biggering.* (cough, cough.) The Once-ler could have been in atleast the top 5.
I agree with your choice for number one. JIMMY IS MY FAV! The whole reason why I saw that movie. He's also quite hot!
❤️❤️❤️
I wonder where Bowser would rank if he made this after the Mario movie. Also those villains from Rise of Gru, although I doubt they'd make the top 5. Bowser probably would though.
19:26 I liked Scarlett overkill.
Vector is one of the funniest villains from my childhood
It's actually great that Mike is your least favorite character, the movie WANTS you to hate him
10:47 yep Miss Hattie is definitely one of those stereotypical evil orphanage caretakers you get in movies
Yeah, I’m really sick of those kind of characters.
@@thomasspongeconductor2222 Me Too
Miss Hattie design reminds me of mrs grunion from mr Peabody and Sherman and her attitude is similar too .
@@zoelindwall637 same which is all the more hilarious considering they are both orphanage caretakers
@@williampulfer-melville8536
Miss Grunion was probably a knockoff.
2 Lorax villains in a row! I’m game!
Can you do Rankings for every Sony Animation Villain or have you already done it?
Ngl i think Mr Ohare is hilarious that’s why I love him
I actually wonder how jam feels about captain planet and how it taught its lessons
Honestly, I think that O’Hare absolutely deserves to be higher purely for meme factor. He gets some of the funniest lines in the whole movie. Me and my sisters quote his lines all the time, he’s excellent
oh my god!, I didn't know that the guy that voiced Balthazar Bratt is the same guy that voiced Randy Marsh, and several other characters, from South Park!, it didn't even dawned on me to realize that!
Where would you put Bowser if you were to update the list?
Jimmy Crystal may be a good looking white wolf, but his heart is as black as his suit. I love this villain.
Balthazar Brat is just the villain version of Randy Marsh ngl
This is gonna be so cool!
My ranking
12. The bears
11 Sergei
10.Oncler (idk how to spell it)
9. Mrs Hattie
8. Carlos
7. Scarlett
6. Snowball
5. Bratt
4. Jimmy Crystal
3. O'Hare
2. El Macho
1. VECTOR
O'Hare is for the memes
Personally Balthazar Bratt is my favorite!
But I like Vector Herb and The Once Ler too
If he did do a Sony villain list where the hotel transylvania villains would rank
Oh how fantastic
Jimmy crystal remind me of makunga from madgascar
Idea maybe you could rank the movie spider-man villains in all the movies
But how can you hate Mike the Mouse, he’s played by family man Seth Macfarlane
I'm guessing that the studio's only redeeming quality, are it's villains. Right?
4:30 that’s Seth MacFarlane?
I like how most of Illumination villains are portrayed as comedic and over the top, with some being walking stereotypes. And some of the villains are portrayed as intimidating for the audience.
Vector, hands down.
Both sing movies are incredible and I can’t see why the second movie topped this list! I doubt we’ll get a 3rd movie but I’m fine with what we have for now.
I like Bratt, Scarlet Overkill, Sergei and most of all Jimmy Crystal.
Vector remind me of lord farquad from shrek
The scariest fact is that jimmy probably bought his way out of jail. And hes rich. Hiring the bear gang for vengence rich
A decade ago I said that illumination was bad at making villains with the exception of El Macho. Now with Jimmy Crystal and Bowser this proved they have improved
I actually came up with an idea for a film illumination to do recently an animated film set in Australia about a young grumpy cynical wombat voiced by Daniel Radcliffe who ends up going on an adventure and eventually ends up saving the bush community from an evil Dingo
Sounds great
@@thomasspongeconductor2222 thanks
@@williampulfer-melville8536
The dingo could be voiced by Ron Perlman.
@@thomasspongeconductor2222 yep and he would obviously give the Dingo an Australian accent apart from him and Daniel Radcliffe I would say the rest of the cast would be Australian actors
@@williampulfer-melville8536
What other characters are there?
I’m quite surprised you didn’t rank Carlos at the bottom as you said in your Hop Review that he is one of the “Worst Animated Villains”, well I guess you’ve changed your mind
You should do another villain ranking for other Animation studios like Sony Pictures Animation, DreamWorks, Aardman, and Blue Sky Studios
2:28 Why. What did I ever do to you?
So where do the Vicious Six land on this list?
Looking back, how the hell did Eduardo even fake a death like that anyway?
Yeah that's a good question falling into a volcano there is no way he's coming out there alive
By being macho
He’s built different
Jimmy deserve easily this place. But with Bowser in the game? Hard to me, but I still prefer Jimmy, because he is more menacing, but Bowser is more funny. And I prefer villains of the kind of Jimmy, like Disney in the 90s years. With Death from Puss in Boots 2, we can easily said than the wolves rules on the villains game!
