Glad you are feeling better Trav! I have had the same procedure on both of my hips in the past 2 years and they both went well within the first year or so. I developed the same symptoms that I originally had about 1.5 years after getting my first hip done. Turns out that I have a lot of swelling inside the hip joint so just be aware of that so you can try to stay on top of it!

I’m 55. Play lots of golf. I had lower back surgery at the beginning of March. L4, L5, S1 Laminectomy. PT and rehab has really helped. We’ve really been focusing on my hip mobility, range of motion, stretching the flexors etc. Everything affects each other. Been enjoying your Vlogs. Cheers from Seattle. I Love Vancouver. Been up there dozens of times.

Glad to hear you recovered so well Trav! I'm having my left hip done in two weeks. Had to have back surgery back in August after having my right hip done last year. Trav you should talk to these young players about how important it is to stretch. Maybe talk about how important it is to get things checked out. I wouldn't have needed back surgery if i had paid attention to what my body was telling me.

I have found that if you have a great doc, and you tell them your concerns, they can treat them. However, this is with the understanding that you inform them of every ache and pain, and you tell them exactly where you believe your issues are coming from. One size does not fit everyone, true in medicine. Thanks, Trav!

I was contemplating doing this surgery, as a doctor I went to see said I had the worst X-rays she had ever seen and wanted to use my X-rays for her students. I did not do the surgery as it looks very rough and at my age (45) i think that would be it for my goaltending life. I am currently doing a online program. The guys are on RUclips. (FAI), (Didn't right the whole name) so far so good, 2 weeks in. Hope you get a team soon TRAV. I enjoy your channel.

The pay cheques I've cashed over the last years would argue otherwise. How many pro games did you play and how much did you make doing it? I'm tryin to help goalies and people out there by sharing my experience but you're blinded by your ego

@@trav4oilers Trav, you’ve cashed checks from teams that were exclusively interested in your social media following. Do hockey players who aren’t good enough to play Division 3 or even Canadian Usport somehow leapfrog those levels then play pro? And your inability to play at that level has been enshrined in the annals of history through your channel.
If you want to talk about egos, I’m not the incredibly average athlete who views himself as elite. But as I’ve said to you in the past, you are a very gifted cinematographer. Maybe time to focus on that…
