I was curious with some of your larger pieces . . . are you anchoring to the wall? We've done this with a couple larger IKEA pieces that came with the hardware to do so. As always, gorgeous results!!

Beautiful cabinet! I’m sure you’re weeks ahead of us watching with your progress, but when Andrea was pondering how to attach the shelves I thought mmmm how are my shelves attached in my china cabinet? My cabinet also has glass on the sides and doors etc., but the shelves are attached with “L” brackets in brass to the wood area on the inside of the cabinet, my shelves are also glass and have wood behind that they slide into with the brackets holding those up, because there’s a mirror on the back of my cabinet. Good luck! I’m sure Andrea has already worked up a solution!

Andrea you make it look so easy. You are rockin it girl! I cannot believe you started off putting new life into old furniture and now you have built custom cabinets and built ins and now this behemoth of a display cabinet. I wish i could make something like that. I have a ton of knick knacks and collections of Thomas Kinkade plates, he is my favourite painter. I have lots of horse ornaments and plates that belonged to my Nan, some Kneaded angels, and 3D jigsaw puzzles, i would love to make something like that. i love the way you make it look so easy. Such a hugh project. I have an idea pop into my head and i put it on paper and it is a disaster, it looks nothing like what was in my head. What is your secret?

The tape ripping …. I had that SAME problem too when i used it for caulking! Very frustrating. They definitely dont make stuff like they used to 😏🙁

Great job but I would suggest if you are going to keep doing this you need to purchase a jointer and a planer. You can’t keep paying for S4S lumber from the big box. You will go broke!
I’m confused. I didn’t see Andrea wiping off the stain after brushing it on. I thought you were supposed to do that after staining. Was it not filmed?
