These changes are frustrating, but better than nothing. Content's been stagnant since 5v5. They need to innovate or lose players. It's baffling why they're not leveraging resources for meaningful updates. Game's dying, so I left.
It's so satisfying to have my tank die near a bunch of enemies and use that Mercy ability to explode them all. It's definitely not like Mercy, but it's such a fun ability, could be sweet to see this given to someone in the future, like with Junker Queen's grappling ability for April Fools. So many good ideas they seem to be testing to see if they'd be good to use in a new hero's kit.
I was playing doom yesterday and pushed too far and died lol- my mercy blew up the corpse and got a quintuple kill and POTG Felt a little better about feeding after that lol
Imagine if you used up all your charge so that the initial burst of the push version starts off with a damage blast? It would look amazing if she got kills with that.
Well you could use soldier to start healing teammates or just support your healers by protecting them from Flanders there's alot of other ways to support your teammates nomatter the hero.
I think so, too and then someone pointed out that it would not be a good idea gameplay wise to reward misplays, in that case letting the shield break. But I think why not? Because the downside is that the shield is on a cooldown and the speed boost could either let you counter the attacker or at least let you withdraw.
@@93Chowo Well, that guy that pointed it out is just wrong. At this point in the meta, Tank is easily the least fun role in the game. It's also the least viable, and Rein is the least viable of those least viable. So yeah, you're both right; That would really help. He could use that, and maybe a bit more.
@@JRook-00 honestly it would be amazing to keep the rein changes as it makes perfect use of his large barrier while making him more useful while it’s up to compete with the other tanks who have deployable shields
@@ct-782hevy4 I don't disagree, but they'd definitely have to make it a bit weaker than Bap's Amp Matrix. Like, as a Rein Main? I'm here for that. Anything that makes me not have to sweat gallons while playing into an Orisa who has no game sense, is barely trying, and is still getting more value than me strictly by virtue of existing is good in my book, but it would definitely have to be balanced.
The sombra changes just feel better imo, and I play sombra a LOT. The ability lockout really should only be an ultimate, something that isn’t used commonly. There are exceptions to this of course, but most of the time it doesn’t feel nice. Another thought, for Mercy’s soul burn I believe that would work in-game IF it healed allies instead of damaging enemies. Just a thought I guess.
You dont play sombra enough. Her kill power is reduced a lot, she cant get in as easily. Also, whats the point for an invis dps hero to hack... allies? Sombra is completely fine, tho i agree with the interdiction zone change for emp.
I main Zen, and I would absolutely LOVE the healing orb change. It seems so perfect because right now Zen can be a very powerful support but giving him the ability to do more healing for being accurate with his shots would make him so much less situational. Also I think that the disc orbs should stay the same
Okay, Rein's new passive is awesome. I main him, and it feels like the perfect counter to the few gripes that I've had with his viability. And giving Brig's shield and empowered state is brilliant, because that completely changes the way you'd use it. It's similar to Doomfist's empowered state and I'm loving it.
I said the exact same thing. I think everything but his passive isn’t that good but that passive is spectacular. It’d make him more of a threat and if he got a speed boost after his shield breaks too, and it’d incentivize more close quarter brawl play. The speed boost makes it easier for him to get in range which is his biggest problem. As a ReinMain, just add this stuff to his SteadFast passive and call it “Berserk” or “Crusader” and it’d actually make him good again. That shatter is terrible tho😭
They should definitely keep the changes for Bastion's Grenade! It would be so useful but not make it overpowered. The Grenade is used for mobility a lot anyways. I also like the Tracer changes, especially like how lore wise it would make sense for Talon to allow her to over-use her Chronal Accelerator at the cost of her own health. And I ESPECIALLY like the Widowmaker changes!! I normally don't enjoy playing widow, but I think she's the hero i played most in this mode, the changes are so good! I also do like the shield tho, maybe it needs some changes, but it's quite easy to destroy and you can't hide your head behind it unless you crouch. GREAT VIDEO!!!!
The way that shield came out made me think “I think this is meant for being on high ground so enemies have a harder time aiming for head” even then when I was high ground I still found myself crouching as well.
As much as I would love to be no longer a hated charecter. I think this kit should go to a over watch cyber security agent. Don't touch sombra her being annoying is part of the hero fantasy.
They need to keep the shout effect when Reins shield is broken so he can easily fall back to cover or push in for a quick kill, he really struggles in both of those departments especially when his shield is down. Would very much help him keep up with the power creep of newer heroes
Absolutely love the doomfist changes, he feels so much less frustrating to play. The barrier health might be a smidge too high but being able to not just get slept out of block is amazing, but the over health for self and allies is really nice, and gives him some team wide utility. It makes his punch SO much more consistent, and less gimicky, if it went live they’d def have to nerf charge punch damage, maybe wall connect damage? But he feels so fun to play, I pray he gets the barrier, absolutely pray. 🙏
An invisible hacker hero is really cool when she’s not taking your abilities and shredding your health bar. I’d love to see hack changes that maybe decreased damage dealt or slowed firing speed
@@Jahito_EBT yea the difference with Sombra is that you don’t see or hear her coming. Sure a DPS should have tools to get elims, but not with perfect, infinite stealth
I've had so much fun using bastions ult in this mode to trip up enemies. I first put a distraction in front of the enemy then a wave of three others around some corner behind them, and my team can usually capitalize on their split attention. It's nice to strategize like this, and makes me want a summoner/pet hero even more. I'd be interested in seeing another null sector member join the roster for an ability like this alone.
Hey, Omnic Post. Mirrorwatch has been one of the most fun modes I've played to date. My most favourite heroes to play in this mode have been Rein, Doom, Tracer, Mercy and Zen. Much of what you suggested is actually what I feel like myself, but with a few minor changes. Just to name a few, what I feel they should keep is 1: Reinhardt's new passive and rename it to "Crusader Glory", 2: Bastion's new Intel ability and make it his official "E" ability but remove the speed boost, and 3: the added effects for Zen's Harmony Orb. Mercy's Soul Burn and Revenge ult are so satisfying to use when done correctly, but they should definitely be for a future hero. The idea of Tracer taking risks with her blink really brings in more influence of decision-making and this could be something to also give to Reaper for his own rework in the future, and the Bloodthirst would definitely work for a different hero. Overall, this mode has been absolutely fun and I hope they do more of this in the future.
Ok, hear me out: Support sombra’s hack being slightly altered to be a burst heal with let’s say… 15-20% damage reduction for an ally. Would go hand in hand with the damage debuff from virus. Sombra would annoy the enemy by making priority targets harder to kill and make their star damage dealers hit like wet noodles.
You know, if they one day stop making heros, they could make this alternative kits that we can choose at the start of the match. It would take time to make kits for everyone, but that would give much more options to all the heros. Its just a idea, but could keep the game fresh.
I feel they should just keep these new kits and show which kit the enemy is using in the score board , it would at least put all of these cool abilities into use and that way at least the decision to kill overwatch 1 was for something
Completely agree with your Widowmaker takes. Definitely keep. I wish they’ll make it official in the future. I love playing as Widowmaker but her Ultimate is kinda, eh…so he ultimate revealing weak spot would be amazing. And I’d love to have that shield as it’ll give me more time to line up head shots before even taking damage
Does feel like it's partly a future change test or ability test for some newer heroes. Like the DiVa boosters from April 1st event might be how the next flying support hero moves. I kinda like the good Sombra more then the original even. And Brig pulling enemies in to be able to smack em makes more sense to me.
Most likely these are scraps of the unused Talent-Trees as for example Reinhardt getting a speed-buff when his shield breaks or Mercy shooting rockets were seen in either early PvE-Gameplay or screenshots. But I personally wouldn´t mind if some of these changes would become part of the normal PvP either to existing or new heroes.
I don't about doomfist. I think giving him a smaller more personal shield to his power block might work. Maybe a small round shield that only covers his upper body so that CC is more of a skill shot and he has a chance at not being slept everytime. Also I feel like some of these abilities can be added without getting rid of the current ones like Zarya. It would be cool if she could pick push or pull ult on the fly and just use the one that's more appropiate for the situation.
I completely disagree with the echo flight change. Love the increased speed making her more aggressive. Its just much more akin to source engine source of movement, where you control with your mouse rather than movement keys. As someone who played tf2 a lot, i fw this echo change so much
I think it's the fact that it's ONLY forward movement. It makes her MUCH weaker, as she can't fire while trying to get into the air with this change. Being one of the aerial based characters in the game, that kinda hurts her identity and makes her a lot less fun to play to me
As a Sombra enjoyer, not quite main anymore, support sombra has me playing almost exclusively her. I love that her virus decreases damage dealt by enemies hit with it, and that teammates get attack speed on being hacked instead of it *just* being a health thing like so many support abilities are. It's almost like a single target JQ shout, I love it so much. If this went into the main game and Sombra was changed to a support, I'd be happy with it tbh.
Exactly I got into ow because of Sombra but ever since her rework I haven't played her yet this new sup Sombra has me playing her again The weird worse tracer that som ragot reworked into ain't it and will never be good
Support sombra reminds me of my concept for lynks17 (an omnic hacker who helps zarya track down sombra in a comic) For a pet hero i always though that maximilen would be a perfect character to be the first "summoner" type hero were he would call talon troops to figth for him
Agree on Max, he should be a support (2nd omnic and 2nd Talon support btw so helps fill out lore-based teams) with generally low healing and moderate damage, but high utility by being able to spawn different Talon special units (enforcer- knockback and possibly healing aura, sniper- long range and damage but limited movement, assassin- ambushes in a radius and stunlocks)
They should give Widowmaker to ultimates like the old Symetra you could shoes between using the teleporter or shield generator But with Widowmaker I would give her this new ultimate from mirrorwatch and keep her old in wall hacks ultimate So you can choose between exposing a weak points for watch through Walls
Give bastions pet ultimate to a puppeteer tank! They could use hard light strings to redirect enemy fire and control enemies in some way (probably just move them or rotate). Maybe they also have an ability to create a web field out of strings that slow enemies. All their abilities would be linked to a string resource bar, so if u don’t have enough string, u can’t use them. The ultimate could bring out multiple herd light puppet enemies. Either they r all the same or a mini tank, dps and/or support. And you can control the puppets by assigning tasks first then to do. Or maybe just make them bots who target a pinged target. Idk
I think some kind of support with the soul burst could be really fun, almost a mirror to mercy in a way, maybe it could be used on enemy players souls to prevent res and deal some damage but you can also use it to on ally souls but if you have a mercy you deny your own teams res. Lot of potential with just the 1 move
They can implement more kits to the same character giving players the choice of building your hero for the match. For example, Zen can have the option to choose between healing ult and hacking ult. Same with the orbs. Then the players can mix and match the options to create a "different" hero giving more flexibility for them (some heroes really need it as they only work on an specific map or comp)
At first when I tried the new echo changes, I hated it. The homing stickies often miss or stick to the walls; the boost goes only forward and that's exactly how I ended up accidentally feeding many times. But after taking some time to adjust and understand her new kit, I actually grew to love it. I now started looking out for potential boops off the map and making disrupting plays. The boost really helps to close the distance quickly and disrupt the tracer or sombra harassing your supports in the backline. And the sticky bombs, while unfortunately are useful mostly in close range, are still really helpful for securing a difficult kill, like an ulting Mercy.
This is coming from a ball main so I’m biased, but I think Sombra with the option to hack health packs for 3 second cooldown, teammates for 5 second cooldown, or enemies for 8 second cooldown is a fantastic idea and could move her to the support role if they feel the need to. But it would add SO many options to her gameplay. You can either hack an ally to help them finish an enemy, or you can hack an enemy pushing your team, and then the new “EMP” from zen could be her new ult and any enemies in it cannot use abilities while in the zone (can activate abilities as soon as you move out, but if you activate an ability like fortify, charge, or ball grapple, it gets immediately cancelled like a soft stun) and allies get increased attack speed (does not stack with kitsune rush though) when they are in the field as well.
I actually like that Brigitte's skillshot pulls instead of pushes. I often use the ability too soon in normal gameplay, which puts a gap between me and the enemy, effectively halting my damage input and sometimes allowing the enemy to escape or nuke me. Nudging the enemy towards me instead supports it. It's not anywhere near as powerful as Roadhog's pull, but just enough to be something for the enemy team to consider.
Brigitte hook MAKES SO MUCH SENSE like you want to get someone closer in order to slam into them, i think its perfect and shouldve been her starting kit since release
Reinhardt Shield break that increases his movement speed gives more options for retreat and attack. Also Reins damage matrix is miniscule in its boost compared to Baptistes, I wouldnt mind keeping it or maybe giving rein some recovery skills that support him and teammates
picking just one is just impossible for me, I really want them to keep the soul explosion from mercy and bastion slicers it would change gameplay greatly in a good way
the tracer's blink change is actually in tf2, on scout. he's got an item so that he can triple jump instead of double jump, but if you do the triple just, it deals you damage
I'd want Frenzy for rein, Sombra should be able to hack enemies or Team mates, she's empathic towards Sigma, and keep the interdiction zone but give it to Sombra where she can plant it. Keep zarya's piercing shots, Brigs shield power up and fire damage upon shield bashing could work, should keep the no bomb damage for bastion
Honestly I love the mini shield Widow has. I think its a great trade off for removing the poison dot which was always kinda useless. With some HP changes, I think it'd be a great addition to her kit. The shield would make her position WAY more visible from a distance, and if they nerfed her health accordingly, it'd basically be what she uses to increase her survival at range. Lowering her health would allow her to be divable cause the shield won't help too much with that. Overall it comes off as much more of a sniper mindset than her base kit.
Bastion's gun stood out to me as the most likely to make it to the main game. All the other changes are tweaking what is already in the main kit, but a new gun is a major change.
As a widow player, keep her old ult, it helps so much with unexpected kills, kills through trees for example or when they just peek around a corner and you kinda prefire them
Brigitte in mirrorwatch is so good like she is a close range fighter I love pulling enemies closer to me and my team so we can jump them like why does regular brig push enemies away plus mirrorwatch has flaming shield which is a nice touch making her even more fun to use, but in the end I do still like regular brig but wish she got the mirror brig moves
I am curious what people would think of zenyatta's healing orb if it increased healing based on the extra damage taken by the player with the discord orb? A yin and yang interaction where the extra damage becomes health. I can see some issues with tank fights, but healing a support with the orb could be very helpful
I think bastion was actually a lot more bareable and balanced in this game mode, I’d love to see this as a complete bastion rework, but for the ult, I think they should make his ult his current configuration ability with a shield boost putting him up to 500 hp and adding the duration by three seconds
That's a great video. But I need to add something. Sombra is not actually "evil". She is information broker and sells information, yes, but she only join Talon for using their resources against (probably) take down LumeriCO. You can tell it how compassionate she is (thinking other members of Talon) to (most of) other heroes in game. Even Ana feels like it, and accept her invitation for a vacation (also Sombra says "For you, it is free"). Sombra also warns Illari like "You get over your head chica". Also she tries to save Sigma (or at least try to confort him) from mind control. And there are a lot of other conversations with other heroes. But she needs to keep that as secret from other Talon members, espicially from main leaders council.
I think if Blizzard look at these changes really closely they could see an opportunity for heroes to have different loadouts/playstyles. This would help create deeper stratergies for the game. Imagine being able to pick between an Overwatch, Talon or even DPS doomfist. I personally would want to see how Talon Torb would be like but also having the opportunity to bring back OG Torb with shield armor.
I’d love for sombra to have a buff option for her allies but it hurts them. Like hacking Rein’s armor to make him move faster and stronger but it’s against his will so he takes damage. Maybe it’s be cool to combo with ults to make them stringer
Widows ult is really good in the game mode, for live I would tone it down just a little bit but keep it. The problem with widow is she can’t kill at max range with 1 shot anymore so if the ult allows her to temporarily kill at that range for 5ish seconds that would be fine, but there would need to be other nerfs such as a longer grapple time and or what if the ult takes away x health or reduces health temporarily to make it a double edged blade. In lore it could be a drug like nano but made by Moria, not perfected and twisted slightly so only giving damage and taking health in return
personally, i think they should keep the other changes for custom games only as they have some serious potential imagine being able to choose between the regular and mirror abilities to make a custom loadout for your hero for instance, bastion with turret form AND reinforcement ult
I would actually argue that Bap's ult in Rein's shield would be a solid idea. I would remove it from Bap, and instead make his field into ult. What would be his normal ability? I haven't thought that well about it. Maybe some sort of recon ability to let your team see enemy health for few seconds? Or something?
The mention of a pet ability in overwatch makes me want a hero that can summon a robotic raptor. Maybe with a whip that can make it attack specific enemies?
THIS!!! YESSS!!! THANK YOU!!! I love the Mirror Mercy (best one), Brig, Sombra, Echo and Rein ones especially, but man what a breath of fresh air this temp mode is!
Im all for ana keeping the double jump. She needs some form of mobility in my opinion. Every support has some form of mobility in their kit for self peel. All ana had is sleep dart and that doesnt really matter if more than one enemy jumps you. Also a "necromancer" hero as the "pet" hero WITH the corpse explosion ability would be crazy and 100% become my new main.
Im a bastion main and ive wanted no damage on the grenade forever, it gives more choice to the character of mobility vs burst damage which adds depth to a pretty shallow character, the ult is also good as his current ult is just really weird considering its useless on the vast majority of characters except in niche circumstances and especially is bad with the health boost from S9, so making it spawn little friendly mobs makes it healthier to balance and goes with his hero identity and lore while still being unique from every other character. All he needs now is his shift being less of a tank buster and we have a much healthier character for the game.
Hey when you said about Echo's dash there is something you should know when dashing forward is actually in the direction you looking if you look up while dashing it will send Echo to the sky.
I prefer Brig's April Fool's Whipshot from two years ago where you could use it to pull yourself in any direction. Pulling enemies closer is dumb on Brig because all it does is get you killed. Shield Bash upgrade is needed, though, for sure.
I like the bastion ult so much. His current ult is less scary than his nade and is underwhelming to put it lightly... also just imaging these little slicers changing depending on the bastion skin is so interesting to me
Honestly, Mirrorwatch could lay the foundation for hero kits, making each hero capable of fulfilling purposes outside of their role. Seriously, imagine characters with two or more kits to choose from. One moment, Sombra is an assault-based, hit-and-run DPS character focusing on harassment, the next she's an assault-based support character giving her teammates health buffs. And, to clarify, I'm talking about kit-changes in the hero-select menu. Not during gameplay --- that would obviously cause imbalance. 😅 Then again, a design choice _this_ drastic would probably be difficult to balance, but I digress. Ideally, everything would have a natural counter, just as certain heroes counter others.
Ana doesnt need headshots it just reinforces bad behavior like standing still trying to snipe the enemy while everyone is near death. The way she is now a good ana can scope and doesnt need to take that extra time to land aperfect shot, just a hit. This works becuase its quick and efficientatfinishing kills or deterring enemies while she swaps back to healing. Adding head shot means more deliberate time to line them up, and shes not a dps.
I agree that she doesnt need headshots, but for the opposite reason. Good Anas could just quickscope instant 140 headshot damage twice with NO falloff, which is too strong.
One thing about the zarya alt fire is it has Moira tethers that damage enemies as well I don't like her new alt fire though the only thing I'd like to keep in zaryas kit is the push back on her bubbles disappearing. It would just be a nice QOL change so that I don't have people constantly in my face. I love the Sombra changes so much as a Sombra DPS main. She can't hack enemies though with her hack idk if it just doesn't work or if I'm not close enough I feel like she's supposed to hack enemies but it's bugged bc she can hack allies so the system is confused, but if they managed to add hacking allies to her hack while keeping her ability to hack enemies, she would easily become so much more useful outside of just being a backlines harasser. Her ult is great but adding that on top of her hacking enemies would make her over powered AF. So the only thing I'd want her to keep is being able to buff allies with the hack. While her ult should be given to a new support hero. The little over heal is quite useful on the hack as well. I got some allies out of sticky situations with that
Honestly I hope they ditch the minigun, that form makes his hit box smaller, which makes a slight issue with the recon form and means you can’t really shrink his ENORMOUS recon form without accidentally giving the turret form a big buff. So if they just ditch it entirely, it gives them a bit more freedom with his hitbox, and overall scale, shrink him a bit and you won’t need him to deal disgusting amounts of damage to kill the enemy before they kill him, instead he can just exist and do his job without being shredded instantly even though he has crazy amounts of health and armour.
Widow would do well with a buff to her movement and the damage of her smg alt fire, but her sniper shots should 2 tap instead of 1 tap. This allows Widows to do more and be more mobile, but also give more options to enemies instead of just dying to a single headshot
i feel like venom mine is useless so honestly giving her SOMETHING for it I'm okay with. As for the rest of her kit since she lost her venom mine which reveals enemies I guess the secondary effect can stay but her ult? i get that its underwhelming but at the same time it just highlights their head no? i think it should give life steal or maybe damage over time if you hit the highlighted point or increase damage more than normal cause it feel even worse now imo
The doomfist E would make him so much better and fun to play. It's insane how you can just use any kind of CC to stop him since he's just standing there lol
But demzies have you landed those new reinnshatters?! They basically one shot supportsm instead of a stun they could escape a half ton hammer comes down and elims them
I have a proposition and hear me out; What if some of these Mirrorwatch reworks became concepts for ability ideas for future Hero concepts that they made mesh with heroes we have now that they aren't sure if they'd work about? If Mirrorwatch gamemode was well received, then they could make these abilities work for a hero down the road because there are some really unique ideas that would go to waste. Side note, I'd also love to see another season of Mirrorwatch that's Vishkar vs. Junkers because this is an amazing idea for a Season.
Personally, for each of the heroes: -Doomfist: I know they won't really keep, but I love his new kit. The shout, shield, etc - all of it! I want it kept, but if not, I'd like a hero like that!; Ball not included >:( -Sombra: Honestly, I also know they won't keep it either, but this is also another one I'd keep. If anything, have his for a new support hero! -Widow: KEEP!!!!!! ALL OF IT!!!!!!! As a non-Widow player myself, this hits SO DIFFERENTLY!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!! -Rein: Probably just keep his passives, including the shield breaking passive -Zarya: Nah, I'd skip it all. MAYBE the knockback, but that's it. That said, her ultimate is interesting for a new hero to have. -Ana: A hitscan Ana would be nice, potentially, and her nade change is awesome to have, but that's about it tbh -Brig: Imma say that I previous normal Brig all around despite the cool shield bash additions -Mercy: GIVE IT TO ANOTHER! No, seriously. Her kit seems cool for a new hero, though maybe work on the corpse detonation as it can be a bit too much -Zen: Probably like Brig and just keep him as is -Bastion: I actually like shotgun Bastion more, though may not his Recon mode. But his ultimate is worth coming back to- maybe not to Bastion, but for someone else! -Echo: Revert it to who she is. I don't like her changes -Tracer: I think her new Blink is cool, but that's about it. I wouldn't want her changed either
I would love if Ana could have the new ult without removing the ability to Nano her teammates, if she chose to or needed to Nano herself she cood and it would hold some extra benefits or she could Nano a teammate for a big play or to save them like she does now. The extra layer of choice would be really nice
The Reinhardt changes show his potential. The ability to swing faster after continuously hitting a target is a perfect change for him. Widowmaker's Silk Shield is perfect for her but she shouldn't have it if she can one shot. Her Ult should allow her to one shot instead. Tracer's ability to lose health by blinking is very interesting too and would love to see that in game! Overall, I love some of their ideas, but some of them fall flat. Doomfist felt so annoying to go against and I don't like him in Mirrorwatch. Ana had some good ideas but Sleep Dart still stuns instead of reducing the effectiveness of the enemy, like fire rate or something. Those are my thoughts.
They should just add all this changes as an option. Character selection screen: you queued as a tank, you select rein- you select Rein A or rein B. However you cannot go back and forth versions
honestly, on paper I like the idea off anti virus ult but instead of attack speed maybe a cleanse, make "sense" with the anti virus name to be more like a counter effects but idk how broken it could be, I have similar feelings to the old multi res
I’ve always seen Sombra as more of a support dps, they are supposed to help tank, dps, and supports with damage or healing. Then they changed her kit so she’s more of a flanker who can only spawn camp.
Ecco never clicled for me, but I had a lot of fun with the mirrorwatch Ecco a lot! The homing projectiles and slowing beam feel so goog to use, and I enjoy the speed of the flight ability.
YOOOO THEY NEED THE ZEN HEALING ORB CHANGE, this would make zen a lot better in more situations and would be in line with his kit, dealing damage heals your ally with the orb is amazing
For Widowmakers ult I would also have it so the hitbox of the enemy's weakpoints increase. Since at higher level play while not completely useless it does become less valuable than it would be say for a silver player.
I completely agree with you about widow, shield doesn't make much sense for current widow, but i've had so much fun with her mirrorwatch ultimate, and i feel like it's just a much more logical ability than just infrasight ! infrasight on snipe shots seems a bit broken tho
Keep new reinhardt passives and his shield Sombra should just get the ability to choose who to hack giving widow a shield is also a good idea to giving bastion scout sense is also an amazing idea also like the heavy shotgun and give bastion the ability to switch between firing modes for his primary weapon
i totally agree emp should function like zen's mirror ability. id rather have a long lockout in a specific area, then damage+3 seconds of being locked out. also i think the splicers ult is good for bastion but they GOTTA adjust their hp.
Honestly I think that if they do keep ana's headshot damage they should keep her lunge, because she can do sniper damage now she should be able to move around like widowmaker, just to escape anyone trying to attack or just make her more mobile enough to snipe more efficiently
Doomfist needs these changes to be a more viable tank option. Right now he's not really a tank but no longer a dps. Maybe make his sheild smaller but definitely keep the over health for allies.
I think that Ana’s head shots might be broken in live game so I’m worried about that end, higher ranks it’s just dps Ana this would be even more incentive to do so because you will do more damage then healing. I think nade needs to change like this! The problem with nade is that it kills anyone who gets hit so that’s why suzu and immortality feeld. With such a strong nerf to nade but still keeping it useful to use against tanks and flankers as a get off me.

That's literally her second Ult option in Heroes of the Storm, would indeed be a cool option to have both available.
@@constantine7249 I've been wanting this HotS feature for so long now...
just give it a flip option like bap window, or Sym wall, or Mei wall

in overwatch 1 we call it "defense" heroes
Well you could use soldier to start healing teammates or just support your healers by protecting them from Flanders there's alot of other ways to support your teammates nomatter the hero.
@@Cow1337Saver did you mean to write flankers and it autocorrected to Flanders? because i'm imagining ned flanders as a tank hero rn
another thing Rein has that they should absolutely keep is that when his shield breaks he gets a temporary speed boost.
God damn you cooked.

@@kapipei8028thanks 😂
I really wanted sombra to buffs her team but only on ult.
Like, buffing teammates and debuffing enemies, that would make her ult more useful.
Also I think that the disc orbs should stay the same
I completely agree
@@illusioncat556 The passive could just be "Live with Glory"
@@pedroian5964 YES
I crouched every single game hahaha
I dont think that rage matter fits tracer very well so i hardly believe it will go to the normal game one day.
The way that shield came out made me think “I think this is meant for being on high ground so enemies have a harder time aiming for head” even then when I was high ground I still found myself crouching as well.
MAKE SOMBRA A HEALER !!! so we stop hating her (?
HELL NO
Implying people don't hate a lot of the supports already lol
Healer Sombra sounds like she'd just be Kiriko 2
I'm a Sombra main and I approve this message.
They cooked with that, I had a blast as semi Support Sombra
I’d love to see hack changes that maybe decreased damage dealt or slowed firing speed
tbf, she can still shred your health in mirrorwatch
*me when people expect the DPS to not shred your health bar*
I’ve been playing her in mirrowatch and it’s crazy how powerful she is as a dps even without her hack
@@Jahito_EBT yea the difference with Sombra is that you don’t see or hear her coming. Sure a DPS should have tools to get elims, but not with perfect, infinite stealth
@@SILK97 *They should definitely give her footsteps, quiet footsteps but still noticeable, but making her a support ain't it chief*
Ok, hear me out:
Support sombra’s hack being slightly altered to be a burst heal with let’s say… 15-20% damage reduction for an ally.
I had a hard time with the brig pull, idk tho maybe it’s just me, not tanky enough or deals enough damage to take advantage of it in my experience.
Like Sym used to be able to pick?
@@jay66n56 Tbh I don't really remember old Sym lol.
@@aardm4rkFPS she could tap her ult button to choose between a teliporter or a sheld generator
And give Junker Queen her knife grappling hook from the other event. I loved that.
The over health when doom leaps actually helps with the problem of just exploding when trying to leap to safety after power blocking.
Blizzard should at least keep Doomfist's barrier. It provides better defense and it protects teammates from damage.
I main both Rein and Doom and I love the changes they’ve done with them. I hope some could stay or come back as a future rework
I completely disagree with the echo flight change. Love the increased speed making her more aggressive. Its just much more akin to source engine source of movement, where you control with your mouse rather than movement keys. As someone who played tf2 a lot, i fw this echo change so much
So true, the echo flight change allows for some crazy schmovement and it just feels so "right"
as someone who played tf2 a lot as well i do not fw it
@@bottledchaos4946 yeah like isn't the entire source movement... not based on your mouse? or do you just mean demoknight lmao
As an echo main, I completely hated it. But maybe I didn't give it enough time if you guys are saying this
I think it's the fact that it's ONLY forward movement.
If this went into the main game and Sombra was changed to a support, I'd be happy with it tbh.
its a small thing but the noise that happens when you hack something is so much more satisfying too
The sombra change has the most I’ve had playing overwatch in months and you said SKIP?!
Exactly
I got into ow because of Sombra but ever since her rework I haven't played her yet this new sup Sombra has me playing her again
The weird worse tracer that som ragot reworked into ain't it and will never be good
The allied hack buff should be how Brigs packs work
Support sombra reminds me of my concept for lynks17 (an omnic hacker who helps zarya track down sombra in a comic)
For a pet hero i always though that maximilen would be a perfect character to be the first "summoner" type hero were he would call talon troops to figth for him
Agree on Max, he should be a support (2nd omnic and 2nd Talon support btw so helps fill out lore-based teams) with generally low healing and moderate damage, but high utility by being able to spawn different Talon special units (enforcer- knockback and possibly healing aura, sniper- long range and damage but limited movement, assassin- ambushes in a radius and stunlocks)
They should give Widowmaker to ultimates like the old Symetra you could shoes between using the teleporter or shield generator
But with Widowmaker I would give her this new ultimate from mirrorwatch and keep her old in wall hacks ultimate
So you can choose between exposing a weak points for watch through Walls
Then the players can mix and match the options to create a "different" hero giving more flexibility for them (some heroes really need it as they only work on an specific map or comp)
imagine if they released Recluse and gave her Bastion’s ult but with her arachnid children 😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏
It's not anywhere near as powerful as Roadhog's pull, but just enough to be something for the enemy team to consider.
they could rework reaper with the dead ally body explosion they gave to mercy, it would make sense and is really accurate, there is something to do
Brigitte hook MAKES SO MUCH SENSE like you want to get someone closer in order to slam into them, i think its perfect and shouldve been her starting kit since release
Keep the And critical shot and movement dash! They feel SO good.
In lore it could be a drug like nano but made by Moria, not perfected and twisted slightly so only giving damage and taking health in return
personally, i think they should keep the other changes for custom games only as they have some serious potential
imagine being able to choose between the regular and mirror abilities to make a custom loadout for your hero
for instance, bastion with turret form AND reinforcement ult
It would be so nice for rein to have the speed boost when his shield breaks and the melee speed passive would be great
I would actually argue that Bap's ult in Rein's shield would be a solid idea.
Thanks! Someone told me the same on my stream yesterday. I'm a dumbass ;p
Expulsion Zone is an alternative untimate for Zarya in Heroes of the Storm! Nice idea.
I prefer Brig's April Fool's Whipshot from two years ago where you could use it to pull yourself in any direction. Pulling enemies closer is dumb on Brig because all it does is get you killed. Shield Bash upgrade is needed, though, for sure.
Sombra changes would go well on a hero like Lynx who is a hacker that helps Zarya
Echo is like Winton, If you look up when you boost you will fly into the Air and get up pretty high and have very good movement.
it could be done in a way similar to tf2 where you can choose the weapon you play with, changing between combos of abilities
Mirrorwatch Tracer is perfect
I got some allies out of sticky situations with that
I mean... bastion having short range shotgun in normal mode and minigun in turret mode somehow makes sense for me. I kinda want it in the game rn
Personally, for each of the heroes:
-Doomfist: I know they won't really keep, but I love his new kit. The shout, shield, etc - all of it! I want it kept, but if not, I'd like a hero like that!; Ball not included >:(
-Sombra: Honestly, I also know they won't keep it either, but this is also another one I'd keep. If anything, have his for a new support hero!
-Widow: KEEP!!!!!! ALL OF IT!!!!!!! As a non-Widow player myself, this hits SO DIFFERENTLY!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!
-Rein: Probably just keep his passives, including the shield breaking passive
-Zarya: Nah, I'd skip it all. MAYBE the knockback, but that's it. That said, her ultimate is interesting for a new hero to have.
-Ana: A hitscan Ana would be nice, potentially, and her nade change is awesome to have, but that's about it tbh
-Brig: Imma say that I previous normal Brig all around despite the cool shield bash additions
-Mercy: GIVE IT TO ANOTHER! No, seriously. Her kit seems cool for a new hero, though maybe work on the corpse detonation as it can be a bit too much
-Zen: Probably like Brig and just keep him as is
-Bastion: I actually like shotgun Bastion more, though may not his Recon mode. But his ultimate is worth coming back to- maybe not to Bastion, but for someone else!
-Echo: Revert it to who she is. I don't like her changes
-Tracer: I think her new Blink is cool, but that's about it.
However you cannot go back and forth versions
honestly, on paper I like the idea off anti virus ult but instead of attack speed maybe a cleanse, make "sense" with the anti virus name to be more like a counter effects but idk how broken it could be, I have similar feelings to the old multi res
if they do give ana double jump
that leave Zen is the only support that does not have mobility ability
Never thought I'd hear about Cattle Decapitation in an Overwatch video but here I am.
🤘🏻
I completely agree with you about widow, shield doesn't make much sense for current widow, but i've had so much fun with her mirrorwatch ultimate, and i feel like it's just a much more logical ability than just infrasight ! infrasight on snipe shots seems a bit broken tho
My favorite ability has to be Mercy's soul explodey thingy. It's a definite "give to another", probably a new DPS hero.
Keep new reinhardt passives and his shield Sombra should just get the ability to choose who to hack giving widow a shield is also a good idea to giving bastion scout sense is also an amazing idea also like the heavy shotgun and give bastion the ability to switch between firing modes for his primary weapon
i totally agree emp should function like zen's mirror ability. id rather have a long lockout in a specific area, then damage+3 seconds of being locked out.
also i think the splicers ult is good for bastion but they GOTTA adjust their hp.
this is very refreshing to have a different "kit" for each hero, a change of having the previously promised talent tree ability mods for PvE mode
Combine that soul shatter move Mercy has with Bastions summon Ult and you get that Necromancer character.
I think they should keep all the options and let people make a kit of their choice with each hero like how you make the skin changes
