You know it's really an alternate reality gamemode because Rein is actually fun to play in it.

The slicers from Bastion make me think there is going to be a summoner hero coming.

@@wexmell I think it'll be okay, the deployment of these is the roughest part, if they stem from one location and are counterable that way by a whole bunch of other ults then its fine
They gotta bring some of the Rein changes to the main game, honestly.
the speed boost on shield break and swing speed increase would both be great

It literally one-shots Tracers XD That thing goes crazy for when your DPS lose 1v1s too
The number of times I used it to kill someone after the barely won a 1v1 is nasty.
Low key though, Brig's whipshot that pulls people is m favorite change. Snatching a Sombra out of mid-air/teleport when they're trying to run away is immensely satisfying.
Yup. Especially in OT on payload modes. Once had a game where my rein charged in to touch, swung once or twice, died, and then I exploded his corpse and got a 5k 😂

My only complaint is mercy yelling “Heroes Never Die!” In her ult still-3-
The corpse explosion is a legit menace, especially during intense team fights. And together with Mercy's ult it turns into a nightmare to deal with. A Pharah with infinite ammo and complete control over her movement, who can explode dead people for like 200 damage a pop, constantly regenerating health and having a jet boost every 1.5 seconds.
The new Mercy is extreme fun.
@Flats, did You KNEW Bastion's new ultimate lil minions can be used to push the payload?! Neither me or enemy Bastion did, until he ulted and our team almost LOST second point in Junkertown, because those little fuckers stick to it and PUSH it! Insane xD
they capped the 1st point for us in Paraíso

I'm such a big fan of Widow's "weak spot" ultimate, I think they should legitimately bring it into main game.

This hack/emp could go on a support but the virus change, that could work for Sombra. If Hack silences Virus can give someone -25% damage if its damage is reduced.

The rein changes except for the shatter and shield definitely need to happen in the live game
the shield being a window is fine its not that good

This gamemode is absolutely the best, im in love with it so much, going full swing as rein with a sombra pocket, having sombra as a SUPPORT CHARACTER IS SO GOOD! as an ana main the changes for her are just so good, going full dps while having a hanzo dash is just the best, the mercy explosion is just absolutely hilarious, whether it be done to my team or theres its just amazing, bastion actually feels better, hes not just a turret only type character and actually is more fair, his ult is just great, having minions in the backline while you dive the front is great, tracer zarya are kind of niche, the brig pull is fucking hilarious, especially when all i think of is "GET OVER HERE" the gamemode is just the best
Tracer is definitely not niche she's busted
Zarya basically got her second ultimate ability from Heroes of the Storm.
The first minute when he said he can't find a use for mercy rez, I'm just going to wait to see if he kills anyone with ot because it's incredibly useful when a team fight is happening and you can finish off people or displace them
The Rein shield destroy movement speed buff needs to be in the game
Flats’ mercy hurts my soul, metaphorically and literally, explosions hurt too.
I get the impression that what they are trying to eventually do, is to have all the heroes with two versions, then perhaps it could be a good versus evil for every fight, and you wouldn't have identical heroes

i like the gamemode, just feels like it gets boring after a couple games. they could've put a bit more heroes in it
I was hoping for evil Lucio that gives enemies slowness or reduced healing
I guess they will see how people like it and if it's popular it goes from there
I'd like that. Maybe Junker Genji's blade will anti-heal enemies for every swing or Junker Symmetra's turrets now burn enemies they hit
I do hope some of these changes become actual reworks for characters. Only some of them though. Other ones are just too nuts. 😅
Things I really like in mirrorwatch that I think could be implemented without hurting the balance to bad… Ana lunge, widow mini shield, bastions ult however maybe for a future hero doesn’t suit bastion that much, and possibly the sombra hack on teammates but not too sure about that one

Flank Bastion feels so good with this setup. Bomb jump up to high ground, use walls to rush down supports in the backline, then clean up the front.
The doomfist changes are actually amazing, and they should be implemented into the game
11:55 That is EXACTLY the same thought I had. Ruben hit it right on the head. "Could this be some of what they had in stock?" They're *amazing* changes. It feels really fun, different, and new. Sure it'll get old because of the limited hero pool, but the possibilities are all THERE...

As a zen main, I'm a big fan of my ''get out of jail free card'' that is transcendance, but I really liked my'zen with an EMP
I liked the orb changes giving the discord a weak dot effect and granting additional heals for damage done would be great changes. Plus it gives Zen options rather than default to discord tank instead you can discord a flanker to put them on a timer
I love they finally did the summoner hero concept at least in some sense

The fact that this isn't bastions real kit will probably be the reason I quit if they don't keep mirrorwatch
Imagine being able to select normal rein or mirrored rein in normal qp and all the hero’s get to pick variations.

Just so you guys know the slicers bastion spawns also gives free ult charge to them because they give charge for damaging them
And for your team healing them

Hey flats do to the Event, do you think multiple characters should have different skills sets based on their skin?
Sombra and Rein changes are actually pretty good, not too powerful, not too weak, Sombra being a support based Dps makes her way less annoying and more helpful for the most part and Reins portable bap wall shield isnt soo powerful that its oppressive but just powerful enough that it creates better space and forces enemies to rush around rather than being able to just walk up like most scenarios
The thing I'm hoping for is that Brig pull ability being added to a melee character in main game. I think that would be fun

My team always consists of a widowmaker not doing anything and me being stuck on tank with 3 of the worst tanks for me. But i have to in order to complete the challenges. I main orisa or dva or junker queen. Reinhart is the only one that feels comfortable but his rush is slow and telling its so difficult to pin someone
I would love these to be alternative picks for normal. something to unlock, would give blizzard more ammo without having to make new characters. just take old characters, give them new abilities and an unlock condition then, boom "fun". Honestly the new Sombra is the most fun i've had with her since her release this dps/support playstyle is Bonkers. new heros are free, Mirrors are unlocks.
Mercy is actually insane in this mode, saw a dude go 30-2 on junkertown as mercy, it was insane
The rein changes besides the shatter and the shield amplification matrix need to come to the live game, we also need a hero that has some sought of Ai that moves around and attacks
Doom changes like the ult giving over health would be good on engaging with allies but awkward when using it on allies

I’ve gotten potg with mercy off of the bombs alone lmaooogot a 3k with bomb. If they’re half half and near a bomb it’ll most likely kill them since it has a decent aoe
The windows specifies it work only on projectiles

I’m really hoping that this event is a soft test for some buff ideas.
I actually really like the way Sombra plays in this mode. I've been saying for a while that Sombra should be a support character, and she pretty much feels like one in this mode.

Not a horse in sight, Doom is still a pain in the arse, Support Sombra kinda works, Bastion is still fun, Ana feels great to play again and Mercy is nuts.
I'd like to see some of these ideas in reworks or on a new hero, imagine LW if he was able to give overhealth or shields like Mirror Sombra can to help make him more proactive.
I hope we get a patch before the mid-season, this was a fun distraction while the current live game stagnates.

Rein needs the shield change, just remove the increased attack speed after each swing
They should totally keep the widow ult, or atleast incorporate it. Makes complete sense, super fitting and makers her ult more impactful.
I wonder if these rein changes would of been in the pve mode that got cancelled. Where they showed all the talent trees. Like these feels like things that would have been in Rein's damage tree

The doom change should have been the doom we got in OW1
Personally, for each of the heroes:
-Doomfist: I know they won't really keep, but I love his new kit. The shout, shield, etc - all of it! I want it kept, but if not, I'd like a hero like that!; Ball not included >:(
-Sombra: Honestly, I also know they won't keep it either, but this is also another one I'd keep. If anything, have his for a new support hero!
-Widow: KEEP!!!!!! ALL OF IT!!!!!!! As a non-Widow player myself, this hits SO DIFFERENTLY!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!
-Rein: Probably just keep his passives, including the shield breaking passive
-Zarya: Nah, I'd skip it all. MAYBE the knockback, but that's it. That said, her ultimate is interesting for a new hero to have.
-Ana: A hitscan Ana would be nice, potentially, and her nade change is awesome to have, but that's about it tbh
-Brig: Imma say that I previous normal Brig all around despite the cool shield bash additions
-Mercy: GIVE IT TO ANOTHER! No, seriously. Her kit seems cool for a new hero, though maybe work on the corpse detonation as it can be a bit too much
-Zen: Probably like Brig and just keep him as is
-Bastion: I actually like shotgun Bastion more, though may not his Recon mode. But his ultimate is worth coming back to- maybe not to Bastion, but for someone else!
-Echo: Revert it to who she is. I don't like her changes
-Tracer: I think her new Blink is cool, but that's about it. I wouldn't want her changed either
Why do these things always feel like a secret test of things to come? Like it's never JUST something fun or new, and it has an ulterior motive.
They're not testing anything. They're just trying to make use of the scrapped PvE content.
@@xDjembex there are almost ZERO PvE aspects in this game mode. They've done these wacky game modes since overwatch 1 launched.
@NumbBridger for pve there would be different branches of abilities. They had some stuff boarded but nothing completed and this could have been some of the "evolved" powers some of the characters have. Like mercy changes here feel exactly like a power up for pve. Ana primary feels like a mod upgrade to include crit. Rein shield is just upgraded with a damage boost included. Definitely upgrades to their kits. Some may go live. Ana could use crits
