    I bought the TORRES 4WD model in Amazon green colour a month ago. It is really a wonderful car and I think I will use it for many years without any problems. The sunroof is not visible in the car you are presenting here. There are also those sold in Türkiye 🇹🇷. The screen is framed in those sold in Türkiye, there are some changes like flat here. But what I will say is this: 10# car. I recommend it. 🚙👍

    Nice and clear video.
    They only used to much hard plastics in visual places.
    But what about the many alerts the car makes while driving?
    I am looking to purchase the Torres EVX, but the many alerts are frustrating and makes me look at a Peugeot e5008.
    Has KGM already fixed this on both models? (Combustion and EVX)

    there is a kind of half cover/shield on the rear , excuse my ignorance but is it a significant function ?

    • @clarioncarsuk8837
      @clarioncarsuk8837  8 месяцев назад +1

      Hi! Not sure about significant, it's a kind of pretend rear tire cover back from 4x4's carried spares on the rear door. Obviously this look had more of an impact on the KGM designers than others! Still think it looks good though

    Nice looking car, love the exterior looks and interior too, 38 mpg not bad for 1.5t petrol engine hauling such a big suv, really not bad at all,this car looks easy to live with, ive got a 1.6 diesel jeep renegade and mpg is amazing in it, over 60 mpg easily, best ive had on a 40 mile run one day was 83 mpg, might consider one of these torres in the future, will keep an eye on reliability an quality control on long term review's in the future, 4 cars ive shortlisted for next are the kgm Torres, ford puma, jeep compass or another jeep renegade 🤔👌👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

      As an owner of 1.6d Renegade, this is the comment I should have written 😅 amazing how similar our thinking is, and today I did a test drive on the 4x4 Torres and literally thought of the exact same things 😂 cheers from Turkey

    Went to see one of these a few weeks ago, it looks fantastic in person! However, the practicality in the boot isn't as good as the figures suggest. The lack of sliding rear seats mean the boot isn't that deep, instead making it taller (it's 'shallower' from the boot lip to the back seats than a Rav4 is). A real shame. Appreciate the AWD is arriving in summer, but the lack of any offroad information (e.g. LSD in the rear, type of AWD system) from dealers at the time was a real shame. Combine that with sky-high HP & PCP APR% at the time they first landed in showrooms and it unfortunately dropped off the shortlist.
    Shame as they're a really funky looking croosover!

    • @clarioncarsuk8837
      @clarioncarsuk8837  8 месяцев назад

      Thanks for the sensible input and your views. We also find it a little annoying that boot dimensions are usually compared in litres these days rather than true dimension, however for some people this unit of measurement is the best to detail total capacity, which is greater than the RAV4.
      As it's based on the Korando Chassis, the AWD will likely be the same. This setup is an electronic torque on demand system with driver controllable centre locking system. No LSD in rear axle.
      PCP is now down to 4.9% for the new electric model, might be worth another look!

      That's expensive for a space saver and a bit of foam ...think a full size spare wheel for my Duster in a cage was £150 from options on a new car.

      All costs shown are OTR! Don't forget the range actually starts at £35k for a very well spec'd K30 model. The £39k is for a K40 AWD. The range is well worth checking out!
      Keep an eye out for part 2 with all the deals as their are some great ways to get hold of one.

    KGM deserve to be the new MG in the uk and repeat the same success MG had in 2009
    HOWEVER the MPG is still horrendous!!! The hybrid can’t come quick enough!

    • @clarioncarsuk8837
      @clarioncarsuk8837  8 месяцев назад +1

      Our testing was an average of 39 mpg on the petrol 2wd K40. This was a mixed journey with a little of everything including some ascent and descent. Considering it's only a little smaller than the Rexton we thought it was quite good!
      However if you really want to lower your running costs consider the EVX electric model. This costs £6.30 (to charge on a low rate tariff) for basically the same range as the petrol, so about 310 miles!
      It's also really cheap to buy on finance too! Check out our video below where we find it's just £10 difference per month: ruclips.net/video/gjp6NO-nrP8/видео.htmlsi=2gcIovo-HKJXpFBs

      Well we are a dealer for KGM! However we report objectively warts and all. This is genuinely the best car that KGM/SsangYong has ever made. It's hard to fault at any price point in all honesty.
      I would like to see better fuel efficiency from a different engine, but that would mean a jump in price. KGM is however working on a Hybrid powertrain, and lets not forget the electric model is superb with over 300 miles in testing from a single charge, so they kind of have that covered too!

    No hybrid whatsoever. Consumption - far from being moderate. All software and electronics are obsolete. Yet big and sizeable, so can get anyone from A to B. Boot is shallow, the standard suitcase 16"x22" does not fit below the rollo upright or even standing on the side. Two suitcases laying on top of each other also does not fit the boot. Do not attempt slaloming.

      Hey Zoltan, thanks for the input, although we're a little confused about some of the things you say. Consumption we thought was pretty good considering it's not much smaller than a Rexton. So to achieve 39mpg from a petrol this size is pretty good no? What do you refer to regarding the software and electronics being obsolete? They now match pretty much every new model on sale currently?
      KGM do offer the Torres in full electric if you want, this is a great model with some very competitive pricing on finance, check out our deal video here: ruclips.net/video/gjp6NO-nrP8/видео.htmlsi=2gcIovo-HKJXpFBs

    korrando have now with the new torres looks and tech upped the bar by chapters and HANDSOME to boot and a 100.000 5 yr warranty to back it up , but presently the unremovable elephant in the room FOR ME is real world dissapointing 27-28 mpg (prove me wrong) , for 65-70% in town daytime and the rest dual carriage or motorway. AT 200 TO 250 MILES P W
    = Big petrol bills . Happy to see loads of them on the road this year but sadly i have to decline the urge to purchase one
