Quite involved Peter - then again, I've a ex-coastguard Hilux in for chassis repair - getting at what needs replacing involved removing the tub, the entire crew cab body, engine & gearbox out plus the entire wiring loom off. We then have to cut off the front half of the chassis & fit the used but good replacement section, then swap every front-end component from the old chassis onto the "new" bit before re-assembling the entire vehicle.... effort.. I'm kinda jealous of you just having to do the chain. :-) I'm also totally in love with the Milwaukee gear btw - never skipped a beat in the entire dis-assembly. Pure luxury.

Think you know this, but make sure on those drive shafts the locking ring is with the open end facing down 😊 makes pushing the shaft in way easyer,

How come you used the old clutch ? That's self adjusted. I've never seen a transmission jack like that before.
