You need a big ole she-shed, with lights and electric! Talk about dedication working in the dark. This piece turned out beautifully. Great job!
That would be a dream!! I think we had bad weather coming when we did this so wanted to get it finished, we don’t often paint at night!
Call me crazy but I would have listed it for $800. It is so elegant and so beautiful...great job!
I think it would’ve sold for that 😅 thank you!
I agree! But I get it. Pricing is definitely a learning curve, wondering what the market will take. But also understanding that you @diywife have an eye for design that elevates these pieces beyond your average flipper.
I would have had a very hard time ing it especialy after it looks elegant. Kudos to you two.
You guys are amazing!! I am a doctor but I love these DIY furniture flip sooo much that I’m planning on DIYing all of my house furniture in my spare time. I’m never buying brand new furniture again! Well hope I get enough time though 😁
Oh I hope you find the spare time to do that, I love that we’re providing some inspiration, it’s a good feeling to turn something not so great into a piece you love and enjoy in your home!
The nice thing is that you can work on your projects when you want to. You will love the creativity of each project.
I loved the production on this video. The light music in the background, but still being able to hear the saws and even the birds, was a big win. Sometimes RUclips videos are so obnoxious but less is so much more! The cabinet is gorgeous too! Wow!
Thanks so much! We have had SO many birds in our yard this spring, I love hearing them too!
Andrea has a the gift of seeing for what a piece of furniture can be that I could never imagine. I love watching her creativity flow.
Thanks so much!
Wow!!! STUNNING transformation here!!! Great job !!!!
Are you kidding me?!? How do you keep getting better when every piece and video is perfection? WOW. You guys are amazing. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE.
Haha thanks, Connie!! This one was beautiful to begin with, just needed a little help :)
Yes!! There’s a lot of “flippers” out there... but with this amount of perfection and creativity i can’t remember one. BRAVO! 👏🏻
@@catarinatcrc Haha you all are going to give me a big head! Thanks so much!
Beautiful. So happy you didn’t paint the wood. Such clean lines.
Oh my goodness, just gorgeous! I think this might be my favorite one yet 😁
Thank you! I think I may feel the same!
Love the chill vibes on this one. So relaxing to watch 😌
Perfect combination of wood and the black, in addition to your awesome signature base! 🤎🖤
You all are amazing. I’d like to see Andrea have a roll out work bench to hold her table saw and tools. Just roll the bench outside for a project and roll it away for dry storage. Then she can work standing up and not be working on the ground bent over so much. 😃. She will need wheels that lock once the work bench is in place.
Oh man I need to build that, I used to have a work bench but it didn’t have wheels, that’s a great idea! Dean is always teasing me about how many times he hears “where’s my tape measure??” during every project 😅
Haha! I was just going to write the same thing! But she gets the job done! Beautiful work!
I’m OBSESSED with this one! Can’t wait to have the tools to start making those bases! It just elevates the piece to a whole new level!! 😍
I feel the same, wish I had a good spot for this so I could keep it!
Literally elevates it ! 🙂
You need a work table. The concrete is bad on your knees. That aside, the cabinet turned out beautiful. I really love the legs, and the black, and wood combo.
I love your choice of what to paint and what to leave wood.
I didn’t think I could love your work any more but this is one of my favorite pieces yet! Great job!
Very cool. Looks like the items in the cabinet are floatin
The best thing is that you do it with love
Probably my favourite makeover!!! Beautiful
You say 'stick around for the next one'. Impatiently waiting!! Love what you're doing-(even if the same base). Amazing transformations💥
I like her creativity and sight for a finished project! Also her staging is amazing, helps to promote the sale! When we see him in the shots, he is a ham, but you can see how much he is amazed by her skill ! Well done guys, keep the content coming!
Thanks so much!
Another beautiful transformation!
I would have had a hard time parting with that piece! You’re staging made it even more stunning.
Oh I did, we just didn't have the right spot for it! The staging was SO fun on this one!
Lucky Buyers! I absolutely understand the bidding war for this piece. Wish it were mine.
So sophisticated looking. Absolutely gorgeous. I thought this was going to be your highest profit piece for sure!
Awesome videography, great music, beautifully staged and I love the part where you were working in the dark. I make and fulfill almost all my Etsy orders at night. No one bothering me and much fewer distractions.
One of my fav transformations! Stunning!
It’s beautiful. Also, this filmmaking is very good.
Of course, the furniture was beautiful, no question. But what I look forward to the most with every video are the "outtakes"...lol. Thanks for being real, and real funny! 💕
Haha, glad you like them!!
I love the character you showed honoring your word to the people that purchased it even though you could have gotten more for it from someone else.
This thing looks amazing. It turned out so good. I have a hutch top that I need to add a base to. I love the base you made for it.
I was given a hutch and base and I was wanting to separate them and was wondering about adding legs! What a beautiful piece you created. Thank you
This piece was one of my favorites 🙌🏾
We have a cabinet in our home similar to the one you renovated, but my Mother cut off the bottom of that cabinet, and put on simple legs, which was popular in the 60's. They had taken the beautiful bottom of that cabinet and turned it into a bench and painted it blue. The bench is sitting somewhere, I hope, in the house. If I ever sell that cabinet, I'll include the bench. I was actually horrified my Mother had my Father cut off that beautiful bottom. I was too little to know what they were doing when it was done. Congratulations on another beautiful piece of furniture, with Andrea's hard work and artistic foresight.
Ever thought of auctioning a piece? Show it like you normally do, and set a base price, and see what you can get for it in an auction? Maybe you already tried that.
It looks so gorgeous! Especially with the staging WOW
This cabinet gets really amazing after you cleaned and give him a base. 👍👍👍👍👍
Andres personal pride on her work is impressive!
You are amazing and an inspiration, as I embark on furniture flipping. I am a disabled, retired nurse that loves to create, and I certainly can use the extra income.
Absolutely gorgeous!
Your bases make the items sell like hotcakes! I used it on one of my previous flips and loved it!!! 😍👊❤️
Yay that’s awesome!!
That is a beautiful piece of work!! 👍🏾👍🏾
Ummm wth with all the furniture flipping I watch on RUclips how have I not come across you guys sooner! Definitely subscribed and looking forward to watching your channel grow!!!!
MEW SUBSCRIBER IN THE HOUSE WHOOP WHOOP!!!! 🤣
So talented! So creative!
This piece looks like a stunning lady on high heels lol. Great job, luv it!
Ha, that's a great description for it! Thank you!
3:30 I want a man who looks at me the way Dean looks at Andrea... 🥰 Y'all are such adorable goofballs 😊
I'm relatively new to your channel. Been bingeing your videos for the last few days. Good stuff. This piece is stunning!
my first thought, "y'all switched sides!" Andrea is always on the right (when looking at the screen) and for this video she is on the left. Other than that, great video! I kid! The piece turned out beautiful. I love watching you guys!
omg!!! when i saw the selling price i was like wow!!! It's gorgeous. Spending even 700$ would be a good deal.
Thanks so much! Yeah definitely realizing we way underpriced this one 😅
Congrats on a Wonderful Transformation! Love the look and the stagging too. Wow.
You have impeccable taste! Being able to recognise how to best elevate each piece of furniture is such a skill. Excellent production of your videos too - so enjoyable to watch.
Thanks so much!
My favorite, so beautiful! I also loved the Dragon cameo😁
Love the way this looks 😍
That turned out really nice good job
Gorgeous! Your carpentry skills are fabulous...it really sets you apart.
Thanks, Rebecca!
Great video work!!
Gorgeous!! Amazing work and you elevated an already beautiful piece into something elegant and unique!
Just stunning. And it looks like a late night!
It would not serve me well to have your vision and talent, I would keep every piece and become a hoarder! Beautiful
Hahaha, I was quite tempted to keep this one, but we just didn’t have the right spot for it!
That looks so good in your house! I probably would’ve kept that one for myself if I were you! Great job!
Oh I was so tempted to, we just don’t have a spot it really fit well, but I sure loved this one!
You are such an inspiration. I need to get started. Wow!!!!
Stunning!!
It's really beautiful! The staging was well done too!
Thank you!
Such a joy to watch you guys!!! Bless you!!! 😊
I love it such a good woodworker your designs are great and a calming video
Incredible work!
Good call on leaving the wood. I was thinking how great it looked
Thanks! I know y’all see a lot of painting here but I can’t paint a nice piece like this completely!
All your pieces are beautiful but this piece is stunning!!!
By the way I'm a LOUD clapper also. Lol
I love how you staged this !! It makes it next level
Thank you, the staging was SO fun on this one!
So beautiful! Great job! Working with these heavy furniture pieces, I'm glad to see Andrea protecting herself with those steel-toed sandals! :D
What talent! Good eye! Love watching your videos!
While the base doesn't match the style of the cabinet, it's still really cool especially the minimal effort put in.
I see you added the "Tall Andrea Legs" to this piece! It came out perfect!! The black paint suits the wood beautifully... Congrats🌷
You two have a great thing going here. I've watched two videos and went out to buy all the supplies to fix up my own furniture! Thank you for the tips.
This is my favorite piece you’ve done so far! Beautiful!
Omg what a stunning piece you are amazing
I love watching you guys, beautiful, beautiful furniture. Thanks 🙏
what a beautiful piece!
So stunning and unique! Once again, you leave me so inspired ❤️. Love you guys!!
Thanks so much!
I just found a piece just like that and i had no idea what to do with it, but now I know thanks to you!!!
Oh yay!!
I see so many people giving away hutches with the top like yours. If they were not so heavy I’d be interested in trying to flip some! Great choice- beautiful colour combo
Gahhhh! This turned out amazing. Seriously, wow! Great job.
Beautiful!
Oh My Goodness!!! Unbelievable job. You engineering mind & skills are amazing to me. And your staging skills also. WOW all I can always say when I watch you...WOW! \o/
Thanks so much, Sue!
I love the fact she does wood work
Since you make your custom bases all the time, you should consider making a jig. Save you time, and effort.
You are the best clapper EVER!
What a special piece
Hi!
Hmm... I am not really sure what they are called in english... I´ll discribe it... A tall cupbord that looks like a cabinet with doors or like a dresser with drawers on the lower half and that has a top with shelves behind glasdoors. Those are often made in halves or can be sawn in halves. You could do something similar to this with that kind of furniture.
I would put in hidden lights either in the ceiling of the cabinet or around the inside of the door(s) to make it even more "more" ; )
Where we are they're usually called hutches! They don't typically sell well in our area, but I may have to rethink getting more!
Just discovered your channel and LOVE your work! I have always owned the drill in our home too! Now I'm a single Mum - looking at ways to supplement my income! Very inspiring!
This is so my cup of tea!!! Turned out beautifully! 😍🥰❤️.
Love this repurpose of the top of a china cabinet. So many are abandoning the tops and just using the base as a buffet when the cabinet can be taken apart into 2-pieces. The squared off shape seems to be easier to repurpose. I saw one in my local FB Marketplace that was similar in shape to this cabinet top. They painted it, put hairpin legs on the bottom and removed the glass from the doors and inserted cane. It looked great! I like the wood bases Andrea makes better than the hairpin legs as I typically am not a huge fan of that style of furniture legs. But, I do like some of the cane work I have been seeing people use in their furniture flipping.
I agree about the square shape being easier to repurpose! And hairpin legs aren’t really my thing either, plus I really felt this piece needed something a little more substantial at the bottom other wise it would have looked just like I stuck small legs on a china hutch lol! Anyway, it was fun to do something different and unique, thanks for following along!
OMG THIS MY FIRST TIME SEEING ONE OF YOUR VIDEOS!!!! You guys have done such an amazing job with this beauty. Please make a video showing how you guys make the fram with legs for first times like myself!!!
Thank you!! We actually do have a video on how to make the base (a shorter version, but it's the same thing)!
You guys are so cute. Beautiful job!
Nice work, but when spraying outside, you should try to create some type of a barrier that will prevent the atomized paint particles from getting carried in the air and landing on your (and more importantly your neighbors’) cars and houses. Overspray can travel for miles and it doesn’t always come off easily, ( speaking from personal experience..)
Wow wow wow this is beautiful!!
Beautiful transformation as always. But the other thing I’m also always impressed with is the video editing. You guys are very talented.
Thank you!
I would love to see you both make a shop area to do all your woodworking in! Great job putting in the time and effort in for yourselves and your pieces
Oh it’s definitely a dream, we would love to buy land and build a huge shop one day! For now we’re planning to get the garage cleaned out and turned more into a shop. Summer is super busy for us though and I try and slow way down on work with all the kids home, so it may still be a couple months :)
Wow Lv your talent.
Keep going
Absolutely beautiful!!! 🙂👏👏👏
Great great job!!! That is beautiful!!!!
