Hello! I just got a new baby hognose last wednesday. Since I got her, she was out for 4 hours, then dug into his aspen. A week went by and I havent seen her. Now I saw her come out around 9am 2 days in a row, which was now 5 days ago. She hasnt eaten since the first. She also has not come out since the 9th. Like I said, she is new and she is 2 months old. The breeder I bought off of loves my setup, and said if she doesn't come out and feed monday I should make the aspen less deep as he thinks she may get lost in it. What do you think? Should I just leave her be till she starts to come out more on her own? Surely she wont starve herself.. It has been 13 days now. Reply
@@WabooX4 babies can go off feed for weeks to months. The baby might be going through shedding too. Also, make sure the temps are good. The aspen bedding should only be 2 inches at the most. Don’t need much bedding. Only enough so they can burrow their body. Just try feeding in a deli dish or on a paper towel inside the terrarium. I have a few feeeing videos on this channel that might help.

I misspoke on a couple traits.. I was tired. Sorry.. Texts are correct though.
Hey Joe 😊 you may want to consider keeping a male also of the AAA you may want to create sunbursts and stormclouds some day

Success... Glad the baby had fed! Congrats
Can you breed a female at 150 grams? Is that okay?
