and i still cannot understand why he said that, I cannot imagine playing without it right now maybe from technical pov, or bc it doesn't change that much, who knows
If you play as a thief i think immersive jewelry could be a nice mod, it adds more diversity to jewelry and changes the prices and rarity(for example a diamond is a lot more expensive then a garnet and more rare). It also changes where you find different types of jewelry, for example, in falmer ruins you will find falmer themed jewelry, in dwemer ruins dwemer themed jewelry and so on.
"for example a diamond is a lot more expensive then a garnet and more rare" But why? Diamonds are expensive in our society because a monopoly is manipulating supply and demand, not because they're actually super rare. So our prices couldn't be used in relation to Nirn. On top of that we don't even know how rare certain jewels are in Tamriel.
Cool to see you use Audio Overhaul for Skyrim again. I've been saying this week after week but I'm going to deliver an update that should fix a few more outstanding issues with the mod and the problem with audio sliders resetting when you reload the game (I'm just going to consolidate everything into vanilla sliders). The gain structure in AOS is actually pretty solid and shouldn't have many issues, although I'd recommend keeping all of your volumes sliders relatively low (around a third to a half at most) if you don't want any volume issues.
The sad thing about not using Frostfall at the beginning is that it can really make the acquisition of materials part of the game, because you need warm clothes to survive. That is a great incentive for a thief to steal stuff, since it is a steal or die kind of thing.
Very happy you chose Ordinator. This is a single best skill overhaul mod ever. The new playstyles it opens and builds that it makes viable just can't be overlooked. It's so amazing that if you scrapped everything else and only kept this one I would still watch your new playthrough with anticipation..
Many thanks for this list, Gopher. Hope to play alongside you, and can't wait for the upcoming series! Stiv and Richard were great characters, and I'm sure your thief/stealth character will be equally brilliant.
Gopher! So hyped for this play through of Skyrim SE! I started a play through that is very similar to this one a few months ago (thief character, Legacy of the Dragonborn, Ordinator, etc) and it’s gonna be so awesome to watch you go through yours! I do have a little bit of advice for you though if you are interested. I wanted to say with regards to Frostfall+Campfire, I’ve been using both mods on my play through and have had great success with them for its entirety. My character is level 57 currently (using no bugs, glitches, or exploits to get him there) so Frostfall has been working well for some time. I will say though, the MCM is kinda difficult to use, but it still works. Also in order to get the mod to take your warmth/coverage values from armor into account, you need to use the PapyrusUtil SE mod and reset the warmth/coverage values to default in Frostfall’s MCM. If you don’t do that you will die from exposure very fast because I believe Frostfall thinks you’re just walking around naked. A little annoying I know, but after doing that it worked and has continued to work perfectly. Another issue regarding balance is with Morrowloot Ultimate and the thieves guild quest “Speaking with Silence.” Since my character is a thief, I started my playthrough by going through the thieves guild quest line. However, when I got to this quest I found that the dungeon you enter with Mercer was incredibly difficult because there were so many Draugr Deathlords in there and I was only level 15 or so. I’m assuming you’re going to start off your playthrough by joining the thieves guild and I just wanted to let you know of this so you don’t get stuck in a dungeon that is, in my opinion, way to over-leveled for how early you encounter it in the quest line. Best of luck to you Gopher! I can’t wait for more of your Skyrim Shenanigans!
Gopher, if you want to use additional quest mods like Moonpath to Elsweyr, The Forgotten City etc. (basically the mods that are listed as recommended/compatible with LotD), i would recommend that you install these mods too before starting the playthrough. For example Moonpath to Elsweyr can be a bit wonky if you install it later, because the Staff of Indarys quest starts early and it has ties to Moonpath if installed. Helgen Reborn and The Forgotten City can be installed mid-game, at least i never noticed any bugs because of it.
He already did Helgen Reborn and Moonpath to Elswyr in his last Let's Play - doubtful he'll do those again. As for Forgotten City, I second that recommendation strongly.
Of course I want to see the 4 hours long video, but not really for the thinking behind the mods you chose, you've been very clear in this video. What I cannot miss is the rambling, that's the best part of many Gopher's vids :p
I'm happy you are starting your let's play. Not only for the let's play, but also it might mean we get more new mods and mod updates from modders that would feel the urge to get back to skyrim from watching you =p
I love how all your characters have had a khajiit. Stiv the warlock had J'zargo the mage, Richard the (sort of) warrior had Kharj'o the knight and this new thief will have Inigo the archer. It just works!
Zim’s Immersive Artifacts is such an essential part of any of my playthroughs. Never play without it. Also, RDO does change Lydia to sound less annoyed when you ask her to open her inventory from what I remember.
I am really excited about this. I hope your get you mouse back soon. I, like so many others, have really been looking forward to your return to Skyrim, even if it feels like things keep happening to delay it just a little more.
I really appreciate this because he is not using a heavy load of visual mods. I have a bad computer and finally I've found something that allows me to enjoy Skyrim with mods and without lag. Thanks Gopher!
Even though we're probably never going to see Stiv again, I'm glad you decided to immortalize him as the channel mascot. I think I speak for a lot of viewers when I say that he was kind of my introduction to you and I have never looked back since. So, on behalf of all of us Grofurs, thank you very much. Yes. I just invented the word "Grofurs". Because we're fans of Stiv gro Fur.
Get rid of the 'Realistic Water Two LOD fix'. The main mod already fixes the issue. Also don't use AFT. Use 'Immersive AFT' it's an updated working version. If you don't like the dialog you can switch it to normal AFT commands in the MCM. Looking like a very nice selection of mods otherwise. Nice work mate.
Last I used AFT and Convenient Horses together in SSE I had some issues with the outfit functionality of AFT. If the follower is riding a horse when AFT tries to refresh the outfit the function will sometimes fail to set the outfit properly and it will make the follower naked. Something to keep in mind.
Unfortunate that he's not also adding Immersive College of Winterhold, though I'm not sure if it's available for SSE. It's great on SLE, and works nicely with LotD. ='[.]'=
Can you do your Skyrim Special Edition Let's Play in character as 'Broken Gopher' that we got to see in that 4 hour stream? Broken Gopher is hilarious and his ability to break into rant at any moment could be a good passive ability.
The stream was just awesome. I can not say that enough ^^ Can't wait for the lets play. So hyped! Also happy to hear that you are shooting for a longer let's play :D As for the mods: no open cities then? A well, I really just want to see your reaction to Inigo ^^ And your kitty comment made me just laugh so much :D You are such a cool guy. Thanks for all your awesome videos :D
Everytime I see that horse falling I just crack up all over again. Its really a gift that keeps on giving. Anyway, glad to see legacy of the dragonborn made it in there and I'm stoked to watch this LP for sure! Hope you'll have a blast aswell playing it Gopher. :-)
Lol I was there for the stream, I spammed it in the chat a few times and he eventually saw the suggestion amidst the chat chaos, said something along the lines of "I'll give it a shot but even if I do you guys won't see it." I'm curious to see what he's got in mind.
Gopher here are 8 more mods that you should consider - Elemental Destruction Magic www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/440 Immersive Patrols www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/718 Legendary Skyrim Crossbows www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/8273 Run For Your Lives www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2272 Simply Bigger Trees www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/5281 Smoking Torches www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/8607 Visual Animated Enchants www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/7037 Warmth www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2959 What do you guys think?
Just an FYI re: Inigo, make sure you *never* try to control him with AFT's commands, or those of any other follower overhaul. As stated on his page, doing so will "break his brain." Indeed, it's a bad idea to control custom followers with things like AFT in general. Inigo is, literally, in a league of his own, and stands absolute head and shoulders above all other companions. I'm not typically one to fan-out over much of anything, but Inigo is an exception; he's just *that* good. I also can't stress enough that you should make the effort to get to know Inigo by sitting down and conversing with him in both inns and any homes you end up owning. That said, though, other companions I really like are: Benjamin Doon, Song of the Green, and an other Khajiit follower mod called, Khajiit Will Follow. The latter actually adds 3 different Khajiit followers, and they are very well done. You probably won't want yet another Khajiit mod in addition to Inigo, but I wanted to throw it out there, because it's criminally underrated, and deserves some love.
I'm really looking forward to Gopher playing LoDB. I could never get it to work properly in my game, but I mark that down to a massive load order and not enough testing on my part. I'm excited to see the content I never managed to get to.
I don't recall ever seeing gopher wear a cloak. I've not watched them all - it is always the first mod I install. Its cold. A cloak is like a blanket you wear all the time.
You're doing a Let's Play with Inigo! I'm so happy! Talk to him. Every opportunity. Take him to the pub, buy him a drink and talk to him. (Oh, and get a dog. But not the talking one.)
Funny to see we're doing the same thing. After about 3 weeks of planning/organizing/downloading I've got my own mod list mostly setup... it's now 3am and I'm converting a handful of mods to form 44 for SSE. Will I ever get to play this game? Some day.
Possibly, but they aren't really needed as they are pretty much visual only and Gopher doesn't want too much visual stuff in this playthrough. The one mod I would have suggested he install would have been JK's Riverwood, as that really does enhance that area, and adds functionality by including a smelter at the blacksmith which oddly is missing in the vanilla game and also adds an enchanting table so, all your crafting needs are covered.
Hi Gopher, first things first: Thank you for all your great vids!! Nice mod list, however I would make one suggestion Though you don't want to use too much visual things, you should consider a character visual/texture overhaul The reason is kind of "visual - technical": As Skyrim SE is visually "extended/remastered" the poor character textures are even more prominent As I use a mashup of a lot of character visual mods (even parts of LE) and character visuals are a very personal taste thing, I will not recommend a specific mod here. Even more I can't recommend a specific mod I don't use personally. As far as TK Dodge goes As stated in another post here and in the mod description: Player has invincible time at the start of dodge. An a little hint, just in case you missed it (although you read descriptions and posts of mods you use): If the cart in the opening scene goes physically nuts, the mod suggested in the Immersive Armor Q&A Sticky Post fixed it for my load order Looking forward to the "And we're back" in a "Let's Play Skyrim Again Again"^^ I just say Have fun and Good luck with the horse (sry couldn't help) Cheers Tero
I still like Lydia, even more since AFT allows followers to avoid traps. There are just too many great custom followers that I love more. If I could ever get Bijin Warmaidens to work I'd use Lydia much more.
Gopher. You might want to consider adding "Alternate Start". It allows you to select from a number of different ways to start your character in the game.
in the 4 hour stream Gopher explained he won't be using that as he already has his character planned out and how to introduce him in the let's play. I would personally still install the mod even if choosing the vanilla start as it's a great bug fix when starting games that install scripts and MCM menus, it prevents that Horse Carriage Scene glitch.
Nice List Gopher, but you should add some more of the mods that are supported by Legacy , like: Skyrim Unique Treasures The Gray Cowl of Noctural The Forgotten City Aetherium Weapons and Armor Wheels of Lull Hunterborn Artifacts of Skyrim Cloaks of Skyrim LegacyoftheDragonborn BadGremlins Collection Fossil Mining - with Legacy support Amulets of Skyirm (needs patch) Artificer - Artifacts of Skyrim (needs patch) Also make sure you've installed the Legacy patches for Cutting Room Floor, Immersive Armors, Morrowloot Ultimate
Now im going to just put this out there so that its not in the back of my mind constantly when the actual series starts, and so i don't bug you too much when it does. Since you're going to be trying out Inigo i have a fear that you're going to treat him like Kharjo. Do not, and i mean *DO NOT* treat him like a vanilla follower. He is anything but one. He's a completely different, fully aware person within the game. When you start a quest from one of the main factions or especially the main storyline, you should talk to him. When you discover a new place you should ask him for his thoughts. When you see an odd looking rock on the bloody road, ask him for his thoughts!! He'll probably even have lines about that xD Just, can't stress enough how much i love the follower, and im pretty sure there isn't a single person who has used him and doesn't like him. His story can be approached in different ways and he's very active about stuff. I just hope you won't be too mean to him, playing a thief and all. (That character idea makes me want to play a noble thief character, huh, now i have an itch to play the game again) Anyways. Sorry for the little rant but i just needed to let that out, can't wait for the series to start! Keep up the awesome work.
Lewd Angel Hear hear! In the middle of ass-end nowhere Rift there's a single hostile mage doing some weird chicken ritual that I didn't even know existed until my most recent playthrough and Inigo has a comment for him. I'm convinced Bethesda stole the "Any thoughts?" functionality for FO4 followers from him, only Inigo still does it way better.
I do have one problem with Inigo. I can't play without him again, ever. Never once have I played a character where I didn't add him if he wasn't there to begin with since I first used his mod.
Oh i should also mention DON'T use any other follower control mods with inigo, like AFT or UFO, im sure you've heard this but it will break him. Just wanted to put that out there
I am sure you know all of these mods but just in case you forgot, you should check: - Realistic Ragdolls and Force - No Spinning Death Animation - VioLens - A Killmove Mod SE (for killmove configuration) - Modern Brawl Bug Fix (just in case you need to brawl) - Unique Uniques SE (in the same vein of Better-Shaped Weapons) - Lanterns of Skyrim SE (for lighting the roads and city gates at night)
Alternate Start also provides a way to avoid the bugged cart sequence which can result from a modded game. You can appear in the cell, create your character, then select the vanilla start, allowing all the mods to load properly before you start your cart ride. =^[.]^=
Coming here rather late (and i’m sure this is something you’ve heard since) but the creation club survival mode does work and is toggle-able in-game. It’s essentially a trimmed-down version of frostfall and wet and cold. It basically uses the “rads bar” system from fallout 4 on your 3 stats. It’s not bad; hell now that i think about it, the use of those bars basically just visualizes what frostfall was already doing; being hungry, tired, and cold reduce stats, stat regen, and other things like vision, attack and movement speed.
Ordinator is awesome. It gives you so much potential for playthroughs with different characters. I've even given thought to a different character to play soon myself because of one branch in one perk tree. I would like the next Elder Scrolls game, but at least mods like this one will keep me entertained until then. It also gives NPCs perks as well. I fairly sure of this because you can get perks that negate perks NPCs have. It doesn't really say which ones, but I'm guessing some bandits and others because it wouldn't really make sense otherwise.
Thanks for doing this, I know your doing this in prep for your let's play but I want to play skyrim again so this is perfect for me while i setup mods :) ty
I feel like doing a new Skyrim playthrough on special edition after 4 years without touching the game. Right now I'm preparing myself to spend 100 hours carefully selecting all the mods I want to use and make them work together.
I don’t suppose there is any chance we could convince you to reinstall Interesting NPCs is there? You barely touched the surface of that one with Richard. I can’t even begin to describe the extent to which it develops the world and adds content.
Having watched the 4 Hour Stream the opinion of Gopher's Moderators and the viewers in chat was that many people found the conversations in Interesting NPCs to be so long winded and insignificant in that they didn't lead to quests or content that many skipped through those parts of his Richard Let's Play videos as they found them annoying.
Great mod to play, but the problem was the length of some of the conversations. For key story quests people seem willing to sit through a 15 minute conversation, but for random NPCs less so. It was one of the things in the Richard play through that I often lamented. I would love to have had more time to just chew the fat with the NPCs.
Gopher Thank you so much for the response Gopher. I understand what you mean, even though I am pretty disappointed. I’ve been here since Stiv, so I’m just thrilled to get a new playthrough from you anyways. More than likely watching you is going to throw me back into the game. Keep up the fantastic work!
Austin Monreal there's also the matter that even if he did install it, bigger quests like Blood of Kings need so many conditions to trigger that you kinda need to peek at the wiki even when you're consciously going for them, and that is anathema to Gopher's No Spoilers Ever policy.
Regarding Campfire and Frostfall: I am not using Frostfall on my current play through as I’m using The Springtime Overhaul so it wouldn’t make much sense anyway. I am however using Campfire and I can say it’s running like a champ. No problems whatsoever. P.S. Don’t listen to the Legacy or Inigo naysayers. Inigo is full of life and character and comments on just about everything! Legacy, well...it’s as essential to me as as Ihud!!!
How much warmer does the Springtime Overhaul make it? Is everything so warm that Frostfall or Survival Mode don't do anything? I was thinking about installing it on my next playthrough
Ole Olson Removes all snow. And I do mean all. Winterhold, the Pale, Windhelm all green. Even High Hrothgar. Though I haven’t gotten to the throat of the world yet. Or Solstheim.
OK. I assume it's more than just changing the visuals with a lack of snow though, right? Like it actually makes all the climate zones warmer, so you don't get cold nearly as fast?
If Audio Overhaul is too much for you, I suggest Immersive Sounds as an alternative. I prefer it's sounds to Audio Overhauls. (Because fireballs should NOT be that loud.) I'm really glad to see you playing with Wildcat, though I'm almost certain you're going to hate it before long. And while I know you're going to play with other followers, I still recommend Rigmor eventually. Can't recommend it too highly.
I've found that it helps a lot to install Winter is Coming and Campfire and just play with them as if you had Frostfall installed to give yourself an impression of coldness in game. You might want to read through the Convenient Horses description page, last time I checked horses weren't abusable as Bags of Holding anymore, or only to a certain extend with training. If that proves true then you might need Bandoliers and/or a backpack mod.
I hope you see this Gopher! I'm playing with the Survival Mode mod and like it just fine. Just know that if you decide to use Survival Mode, get the Unofficial Survival Mode Patch. Also you have to ditch W&C with SM or your game will freeze while the sound plays on. Looking forward to your play-through, best of luck!
A bit of a long comment incoming. :P Honed Metal also takes time, and the crafter who you've commissioned to will send a Courier to inform you that it's done and you'll have to go back and get your order. I think you can change the settings, but I'm not sure since I like the default settings for this mod. Immersive Citizens is neat, but some stuff overlaps with Cutting Room Floor so it could be either, really. I can only think of one instance tho, a minor background event. INIGO is indeed the best follower. If you do take breaks from him, please try Interesting NPCs' followers, because they are pretty awesome. Oh and AFT/any follower overhaul is pointless with Inigo because he comes with his own framework, and I don't think it'll work with 3DNPCs either. 3DNPCs work with EFF, but while EFF is a lot more convenient to use, AFT has more functionalities. For Ordinator, you might want to *not* get the extra perks settings because a lot of the Thieve perks gives you extra perks. Namely the Alchemy, Lockpicking, and Pickpocket trees. Again, RDO is lovely. Oh, and you can change your settings so Lydia doesn't stop being a moron. And it doesn't just affect some NPCs. It affects all vanilla-voiced NPCs. And it also does some other stuff like making Thieves Guild members useable as followers and adds some extra NPCs, all toggleable from the MCM. :D Simply Knock, from the mod description: "Also useful for checking to see if anyone's home before you commit your next burglary." TK Dodge is very OP. I would recommend Attack Commitment, which prevents actors(including the player) from turning during attacks, making side-stepping a lot more effective. And of course, make TK Dodge even more OP, if you decided to use both. You missed "Lock Overhaul" because you were searching for "Lockpicking Overhaul". Which is completely my fault, as you read my comment in chat where I suggested the latter because I am a moron. All in all though, very solid mod list. I'm looking forward to the Let's Play! Oh, and while I was one of the many people who recommended Legacy of the Dragonborn, you might want to temporarily install LAL(if you're not planning on using that) and start at Solitude Docks, and get a feel of the museum itself in a temp character before committing to it.
I am hoping Frostfall will eventually get added. Richard hiding from the cold (especially in Dragonborn) was lots of fun (for us viewers, not for Richard).
I thought I should warn you that there are a few very powerful enchantments in summermyst, particulary an enchantment called wraith king which summons an unkillable ghost that will fight for you. It's not exactly overpowerd but it can make the first 5 levels or so very easy, this combined with morrowloot might make the entire area around Whiterun trivial. Sorry if you consider this a spolier I just thought this is something that you would like to know about. On a side note check out the mod "Black Thorn" it is a complete town that is buildable from the ground up. It takes alot of coin to finish but seeing as your a thief character you should have alot of coin to sink into it, and don't worry you aren't just building it out of the goodness of your heart, most of the buildings provide a steady income. If this mod interests you I would suggest looking at the authors other mods.
If you'll be playing through the Helgen sequence, I would recommend "Opening Scene Overhaul SE". It adjusts some of the timing of the dialogue, and brings back some cut content. Lokir apparently had a different voice actor, and I think has a bit more to say during the cart ride. Hadvar gets a more sympathetic to the PC voiced character (new voice actor), and if you choose Ralof, you get a new companion during part of the Helgen dungeon escape ;)
One note on Wet and Cold: I would probably recommend it with a survival overhaul, along with Footprints, Frostfall, etc however if you are going to run mods which add a lot of NPC's to the game (such as a Civil War overhaul, which I know you are NOT doing) it can be very script heavy.
For your ambient sound mod you should be able to control the background ambient sound by lowering or raising the effects volume in game settings, right? I keep mine around 40% along with background music and the voice volume cranked to 100% to ensure I can hear my conversations.

I use it on thief characters just to have more cool stuff to steal, and the great enchanted ones, and ... it's just good
I was literally just binging you videos. I got back into Skyrim a few days ago and my load order is more stable than it's ever been, thanks to you.
Cool to see you use Audio Overhaul for Skyrim again. He said on the latest Forest stream that he had his mouse back and working, sooner than he expected. That might bring it forward a bit.
Really looking forward to this lets play. I'm so ready to see Skyrim again.
Gopher: the Bob Ross of modding
Thank you for the lists!
Great mod list Gopher can’t wait to watch you’re let’s play Skyrim again :)
I really appreciate this because he is not using a heavy load of visual mods. I have a bad computer and finally I've found something that allows me to enjoy Skyrim with mods and without lag. Thanks Gopher!
Looking forward to watching how this lets play evolves as it goes on.
There's a mod to keep this from happening: www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/11573
thank you so much for your mod list
5:22 "bit of a crap mod"
funny guy
Can't wait for the LP, thank you :D
I am so excited for the return of skyrim to this channel :)
Looking forward to the series.
So excited for the next let's play! Keep up the awesome work!
Great that you changed your mind about legacy of the dragonborn.
Unfortunate that he's not also adding Immersive College of Winterhold, though I'm not sure if it's available for SSE. It's great on SLE, and works nicely with LotD. ='[.]'=
Raycheetah It's not on SSE sadly.
There is Magical College of Winterhold
Can you do your Skyrim Special Edition Let's Play in character as 'Broken Gopher' that we got to see in that 4 hour stream? Broken Gopher is hilarious and his ability to break into rant at any moment could be a good passive ability.
It's already uploaded on the GopherLive channel
*argues with a chicken for 3 solid days*
BROKEN you say? DELETE! DELETE! DELETE!
3:58 was just thinking about that monment :D
13:35 this is so cool! Definitely going to use that if I pick the game up again
The stream was just awesome. I can not say that enough ^^ Can't wait for the lets play. So hyped! Also happy to hear that you are shooting for a longer let's play :D
As for the mods: no open cities then? A well, I really just want to see your reaction to Inigo ^^ And your kitty comment made me just laugh so much :D
You are such a cool guy.
Okay the Nostalgia buff from the horse deserves a like, thanks Gopher. Feels like I've been watching you forever, and not a moment wasted.
Can't wait for this to start
That voice with that music...such a pang of nostalgia.
Thank you for the video and continue to show us more mods in the future.
How did I describe the water in Classic Skyrim? Gelatinous? :)
About Morrowloot: ie Gopher is tied of picking up Ebony and going "It’s not even that valuable... I just feel wrong leaving it here."
Somebody has got to mention Opening Scene Overhaul! I think that would be a fresh take on Skyrim for Gophers 3rd Let`s Play! Somebody tell him!
Lol I was there for the stream, I spammed it in the chat a few times and he eventually saw the suggestion amidst the chat chaos, said something along the lines of "I'll give it a shot but even if I do you guys won't see it." I'm curious to see what he's got in mind.
Hey thank you for replying and informing me! :) May the force be with you

What do you guys think?
I swear I see you everywhere. You must love Elder Scrolls as much as me then \( ö )/
I have not been this excited for a youtube series since forever.
Just built my SSE mod list then you upload with yours, now I can merge the two to my liking, thanks Gopher.
I'm really looking forward to Gopher playing LoDB. I could never get it to work properly in my game, but I mark that down to a massive load order and not enough testing on my part. I'm excited to see the content I never managed to get to.
since you allready using wet and cold, would you consider also using cloaks of skyrim?
Cloaks of Skyrim is also supported by LotD, and there are displays in the museum for the unique cloaks you can find. =^[.]^=
Raycheetah That cloak room is really cool, too. Gopher will love it if he goes that way.
I don't recall ever seeing gopher wear a cloak. I've not watched them all - it is always the first mod I install. Its cold. A cloak is like a blanket you wear all the time.
@@billycarter6992 are you joking? his most iconic letsplay character wore a huge fur cloak all the time
@@MrMagicRman A year ago, I think I might have only been watching gopher for a short while.
Unique Uniques! Makes all the thanes weapons and the weapons attached to important Characters actually look/act different.
Some day.
Daniel
Converting. How does that work?
Any tips appreciated!!
Should've at least included all of Arthmoor's town mods. They really spice up the game in a pretty vanilla way.
CWATTYESOGamingForFun Immersive Citizens needs vanilla pathing to work properly so most town overhauls aren't compatible.
Immersive Citizens works fine with JK's Riverwood and Whiterun Mods. I have run them without problems for quite some time.
Hi Gopher,
first things first: Thank you for all your great vids!!
Nice mod list, however I would make one suggestion
Though you don't want to use too much visual things, you should consider a character visual/texture overhaul
The reason is kind of "visual - technical": As Skyrim SE is visually "extended/remastered" the poor character textures are even more prominent
As I use a mashup of a lot of character visual mods (even parts of LE) and character visuals are a very personal taste thing, I will not recommend a specific mod here.
Even more I can't recommend a specific mod I don't use personally.
As far as TK Dodge goes
As stated in another post here and in the mod description: Player has invincible time at the start of dodge.
An a little hint, just in case you missed it (although you read descriptions and posts of mods you use):
If the cart in the opening scene goes physically nuts, the mod suggested in the Immersive Armor Q&A Sticky Post fixed it for my load order
Looking forward to the "And we're back" in a "Let's Play Skyrim Again Again"^^ I just say
Have fun and Good luck with the horse (sry couldn't help)
Cheers Tero
Am I the only one who likes Lydia?
RowdyCosmonaut No, your not the only one. I happen to like her as well.
I hAvE sWoRn To CaRrY yOuR bUrDeNs.
No Im ok with her too. In my recent playthrough she died to the ice troll before high hrotgar :(
I like her too , she is very submissive and loyal.
Well she is sworn to carry your burdens
I've already planned the start I'm afraid :)
So. Much. Hype. For this lets play!
Thanks for considering Legacy of the Dragonborn Gopher, you wont regret it :)
Nice List Gopher, but you should add some more of the mods that are supported by Legacy , like:
Skyrim Unique Treasures
The Gray Cowl of Noctural
The Forgotten City
Aetherium Weapons and Armor
Wheels of Lull
Hunterborn
Artifacts of Skyrim
Cloaks of Skyrim
LegacyoftheDragonborn BadGremlins Collection
Fossil Mining - with Legacy support
Amulets of Skyirm (needs patch)
Artificer - Artifacts of Skyrim (needs patch)
Also make sure you've installed the Legacy patches for Cutting Room Floor, Immersive Armors, Morrowloot Ultimate
Gray Cowl of Nocturnal for absolute certain, especially given Gopher's new character concept! =^[.]^=
He'll probably even have lines about that xD
Just, can't stress enough how much i love the follower, and im pretty sure there isn't a single person who has used him and doesn't like him. His story can be approached in different ways and he's very active about stuff.
I just hope you won't be too mean to him, playing a thief and all. (That character idea makes me want to play a noble thief character, huh, now i have an itch to play the game again)
Anyways.
Oh god i remember that! That was quite possibly the most awesome moment i've ever had xD
Inigo with chickens and rabbits xD
I do have one problem with Inigo. I can't play without him again, ever. Never once have I played a character where I didn't add him if he wasn't there to begin with since I first used his mod.
Oh i should also mention DON'T use any other follower control mods with inigo, like AFT or UFO, im sure you've heard this but it will break him. Just wanted to put that out there
This sounds like we are gonna see a Let's Play Inigo rather than a Let's Play Skyrim.
Disguise can break the game by wearing fur armor you are a part of all bandit camps somehow
I am sure you know all of these mods but just in case you forgot, you should check:
- Realistic Ragdolls and Force
- No Spinning Death Animation
- VioLens - A Killmove Mod SE (for killmove configuration)
- Modern Brawl Bug Fix (just in case you need to brawl)
- Unique Uniques SE (in the same vein of Better-Shaped Weapons)
- Lanterns of Skyrim SE (for lighting the roads and city gates at night)
"Modern Brawl Bug Fix"
He's using Enai's mods so it's included already.
Why dont you use alternative start? i could not play the vanilla start EVER again ;D
Alternate Start also provides a way to avoid the bugged cart sequence which can result from a modded game. You can appear in the cell, create your character, then select the vanilla start, allowing all the mods to load properly before you start your cart ride. =^[.]^=
Because the start I have in mind requires the main start.
sounds interesting :)
Opening Scene Overhaul will make the vanilla start better and more interesting, if you need to play the vanilla start then this one's a must.
I love using A.S. and always use it in my load order. Great mod
It’s not bad; hell now that i think about it, the use of those bars basically just visualizes what frostfall was already doing; being hungry, tired, and cold reduce stats, stat regen, and other things like vision, attack and movement speed.
i have that particular audio overhaul for LE and it will definitely ruin your day with headphones whenever a fireball is cast.
Need some Skyrim in my life again. Sounds like the series will take off well...at least Ill say Im super pumped!
so excited you're finally coming back to skyrim
It doesn't fit into the world all that well. The NPCs are clearly "not vanilla".
Regarding Campfire and Frostfall:
I am not using Frostfall on my current play through as I’m using The Springtime Overhaul so it wouldn’t make much sense anyway.
Ole Olson
Removes all snow.
Ole Olson
No snow at all. Neither on the ground or falling from the sky. Comes with it’s own weather but some NPCs will still complain about the cold.
It's coming ! it's starting ! HYPE ! HYPE ! HYPE !
If Audio Overhaul is too much for you, I suggest Immersive Sounds as an alternative. I prefer it's sounds to Audio Overhauls. (Because fireballs should NOT be that loud.)
I'm really glad to see you playing with Wildcat, though I'm almost certain you're going to hate it before long.
And while I know you're going to play with other followers, I still recommend Rigmor eventually. Can't recommend it too highly.
HA gopher.. . "I'm going to use inigo! not sure how much I'll use him..." LOOL
A new Gopher Skyrim playthrough; and there was much rejoicing throughout the land! ;0)
12:14 Yup, that was me :) that mod is like a creditcard : never leave Breezehome without it . Btw, that stream was a great evening spend
"have a kitten" LOL Oh gopher. You really are one of my all time favorites on YT.
God I'm so glad you're taking Legacy of the Dragonborn! Can't wait for this new LP :D
Well, the best I can say about some of those choices is that it's always interesting seeing different peoples' tastes and mod choices. :D
A bit of a long comment incoming. :P
Honed Metal also takes time, and the crafter who you've commissioned to will send a Courier to inform you that it's done and you'll have to go back and get your order.
Simply Knock, from the mod description: "Also useful for checking to see if anyone's home before you commit your next burglary."
TK Dodge is very OP.
I recommend the Opening Scene Overhaul mod! It adds some nice content to the beginning and tweaks the dialogue timing to be more realistic!
I am hoping Frostfall will eventually get added. Richard hiding from the cold (especially in Dragonborn) was lots of fun (for us viewers, not for Richard).
I never should have unsubbed from you I genuinely missed the soudn of your voice and didn't even realize it til I started up this video haha.
I'm super excited for this LP Skyrim SE is a great game, I've bought it for ps4, and xb1
One note on Wet and Cold: I would probably recommend it with a survival overhaul, along with Footprints, Frostfall, etc however if you are going to run mods which add a lot of NPC's to the game (such as a Civil War overhaul, which I know you are NOT doing) it can be very script heavy.
As you plan to add mods use the Nordic Skyrim Guide for suggestions because its all categorized. And he mentions any needed patches etc
Lydia and Inigo have some very funny interactions I how your enjoy.
For your ambient sound mod you should be able to control the background ambient sound by lowering or raising the effects volume in game settings, right? I keep mine around 40% along with background music and the voice volume cranked to 100% to ensure I can hear my conversations.
One mod I did not hear mentioned is Ask Innkeeper To Show Room SE version; to avoid the annoying tour every time one stays in the same Inns.
You’ve played an elf, you’ve played a human. Can we expect a beast race this time around? :D
I been running Frostfall and camping without any issues.
Really? For some reason the mod just isn't working for me. The MCM is all garbled and none of the UI things are working
