Yessss... technical failure.... period... I've tried everything for over 40 years... a lot of volume... a lot of exercises... including weightlifting.... heavy benches... again and again to get the same results from the same variables.... Now I definately know that calisthenics is the best exercise form for a healthy living, healthy strong injury -free joints and decent massive overall muscle gains... I should say that I discovered pseudo planche push ups 3 years ago and I've been doing it since then with tremendous success... this simple exercise gave me the biggest chest muscle I've ever had in my life though I've been working out for over 40 years... (more muscle gains than heavy bench press).... now I only do dips, pseudo planche push ups, decline push ups, diamond push ups and handstand push ups... each 1 set only to technical failure with slow decent eccentric form... my body changed crazily... I've become a very big strong man with only calisthenics.... and something I discovered to my surprise that.... from slow decent reps to failure with basic exercises I mentioned above, I can easily do archer push ups with a lot of reps or I can add weight and do my reps easily even I have never tried before!.... I mean, perfect form and perfect reps with basic exercises to failure make you so strong!!! You really don't need fancy exercises to get strong.... all you need is perfect form slow controlled reps to failure.... I wish everyone success in their calisthenics journey....

You're right about calisthenics it's all you need to build the body and plenty of muscle and it can be scaled to any level from beginner to world class athlete, what do you do for leg training ?

@@brianbadonde8700 only Bulgarian split squats... I have knee issues on my both legs from my young age weight lifting days... Bulgarian split squats never causes any issues to me and its range of motion is far more better than lunges... I don't need a wide variety of leg exercises ... I can do all kinds of lunges but I can't even do basic bodyweight squat because of my knees... However Bulgarian split squats keeps my knees very strong and interestingly after doing one set of them, I can easily do a lot of bodyweight jumping squats... I don't do much volume for my legs... 1 set Bulgarian split squats and 1 set single leg bridge on the floor.

@@cheerfulheartdeepmind685 yeah Bulgarian split squats would be my pick as well, you see very few people doing them, they don't like having to train each leg separately I suppose

@@cheerfulheartdeepmind685 Try Ben Patrick’s Leg routine from Thetoesovekneeguy He had three surgeries on his knees and he rehabilitated his knees and is doing some incredible things!
I had problems with my knees as well, I feel great now!

Al Kavad is old Semitic for To weigh heavily upon or heavy. Therefore his name is The Heavy One. Heavy in thought? Yes. Heavy in weight aka Dad Bod? No. Feel free to use Kavad the Dad or Kavad the Anti-Dad Bod! haha
