Bananas was a music and comedy show of the WDR, which ran from March 1981 to November 1984 on the first program of the ARD. There were 28 episodes divided in 4 seasons, each about 45 minutes. The title Bananas was derived from the English expression going bananas for having fun.
This performance was recorded between 7 and 11 May of 1983.

Great memories, I was 14-years-old when this was released. A talented bunch of musicians, especially Stuart Neal on keyboards on this fantastic track.
I remember they were frequently overshadowed by the likes of Duran Duran, WHAM, Culture Club....
