- Recipe here: www.joyofbaking... Stephanie Jaworski of Joyofbaking.com demonstrates how to make Cream Cheese Brownies. There are so many types of brownies, but one of my favorites is these Cream Cheese Brownies which combine a dense and fudge-like brownie with a cream cheese filling. Bite into one and you are sure to notice how the tanginess of the cream cheese so nicely tempers the deep richness of the chocolate brownie. What a perfect way to enjoy both a brownie and cheesecake at the same time.

I used to watch old B/W movies on RUclips. But now I watch Stephanie almost all the time. I really like the way you bake, step by step. And you DON'T "swoon" when you taste what you prepared, unlike the TV cooking stars. Thank for that!
I made this and my family loved it! :D I used bittersweet chocolate and instead of adding 250g sugar, I only added 190g and they tasted divine! I didn't have any unsweetened (bitter) chocolate in hand so I made this change and thankfully it worked. Thanks for the recipe again. Stephanie. Yours never fail.
Can I add pecans?
Soooo good, my kids loved it( and I am not even gonna mention my husband), thank you for this recipe. And you take that extra time to convert it all to grams, I really appreciate that.
Good luck with everything!!!
( used much less sugar, because my chocolate was semisweet, I tasted the chocolate batter for sweetness before I added eggs, and also I used parchment paper, worked great. )
If you used a 20 cm square pan, instead of a 23 cm square pan, the depth of the batter would be deeper, so the baking time would be longer.
I made these for our weekly prayer meeting - the group loved them. Thanks!
That’s awesome! Bless you on Jesus’s name
I’ve made quite a few of her recipes and all of them turned out amazing and I always find myself coming back to her!
Yes, you could mix it either by hand or with a mixer.
I love how Stephanie changes from this serious and not smiling mood to lively and happy in her latest videos.
Yummy

I've been wanting to make these since I tried them @ starbucks... came across this video, made them today, and O M G, these are way better than the one's @ starbucks... I've never made brownies from scratch, always from a box... I never knew how easy it was! Love Stephanie's instructions!
Tried this early. Its really good. And the recipe is so easy. For those who are asking about using chocolate chip and how much sugar to put. I used choco chip with reduced sugar to 1/2 cup. Tasted perfect ❤️ not so sweet.
*tried this earlier* *and reduced sugar to 1/2 cup
Thank you for this recipe! I didn't have unsweetened chocolate, so I used the cocoa powder/canola oil conversion and it turned out great. I also made 1.5X the recipe so it would fill a 9x13. Delicious!
Made this for New Year's party yesterday and my family loved it! I reduced the sugar to 1/3 cup though, since my family consists mostly of adults age 40+. It wasn't too sweet and they love it that way. :) Thank you Stephanie!
Yes, you could use margarine.
I bet this would be good with a graham cracker crust too mmm. You make everything looks so easy
I made it for my family, and they all loved it. Thank you so much for this delicious and beautiful recipe.
Yes,
Yes, you could do that.
We got it from Williams Sonoma. There many places induction hot plates can be purchased such as Amazon.
Thanks for the delicious recipe. My first time making brownies and it was very delicious. Everyone in my family loves these brownies. Thanks for your thoughtful instruction. I am making another batch this week.
Wow...wow...WOOOOOOWWWWW. THANK YOU!!! Yummy...we went NUTS over this recipe. A 5 star dessert. I will be checking your other videos for more recipes. Thanks.
The weight of one large egg is about 57 grams. So if the eggs you use are heavier than that you may have to adjust the amount of eggs you use in the recipe.
You don't want it still liquid. When you in insert a toothpick into the center, there should be a few moist crumbs clinging to the toothpick. If it's too soft, I would bake it longer.
Yes, you can let them come to room temperature before serving.
Stephanie, I love watching your videos. You make every recipe so clear and easy to understand.
When I was a kid there was a bakery that baked brownies with walnuts and an absolutely delicious toasted coconut topping. I have looked and looked and can’t find a recipe to match it and my attempts only end in disaster. Can you please recreate this recipe and post it? Thank you.... you’re my last hope!
I use Philadelphia cream cheese. I don't know where you live, but in the States, most grocery stores sell it.
The mixer is a Kenwood Titanium Chef and the food processor is a Cuisinart.
I just made this for my family and we all loved it ! Thank you ❤️
These look divine, can't wait to make them! I made your fudgy brownies and they were delish! Thank you for the recipe and easy to follow demonstration!

Omg I made this for Valentine's Day along with your Oatmeal Raisin cookies & they both were a hit. The recipes are amazing ! Thanks loads x
Thank you as always cause you're explain everything very well.
Yes, you can use the microwave.
No, I just mainly swirl it through the cream cheese layer.
No sorry I have not, I'm not sure how well it would work with Splenda.
Could it be the type of cream cheese you used? Did you use full fat cream cheese that is sold in brick form in a box?
Yes I drop mine 25F or 15C.
that looks delicious!! im gonna make it tomorrow! im so happy she gives measures in grams so much easer to cook esp. when i live in europe.!
I love cream cheese brownies and cheesecakes.im a 🍫 lover too.❤😋🍪🍰💛.your recipe looks delicious.😋.Pam Johnson
i really like your videos i'm really into baking and i like watching your videos to get fun recipes
Such a fun and easy recipe for a baker in training... (like myself haha!)
Thanks so much for this!!
Could it be the type of chocolate you used. Or when the brownies come out of the oven, they aren't really firm, they are a little soft. They do firm up as they cool. And I like to store my brownies in the fridge so they become really firm.
Never tried brown sugar in the brownies, but you should be able to do that.
Yes, you can leave it out.
Maybe try mixing it when it's still quite cold. Or maybe it is the type of cream cheese. I wouldn't use the spreadable type or fat free cream cheese.
Joy I thank for the brownies cheesecake I love your baking skills
Sorry, but I've never made them with semi sweet chocolate, so I really don't know how much you should reduce the sugar.
Our dog Baxter, he's an Airedale terrier.

Hi there Stephanie!
I'm 14 years old and i love baking ;p Thanks for this recipe, i've been making these a couple times for my family and they absolutely love it! They turn out great every single time, it's such a pity though that they have to be refrigerated for such a time, cause it's hard to keep your fingers of them!
Greets from the Netherlands
Hi, is this a chewy brownie or more a cakey one? Will the brownie get hard from it being in the fridge? thank you
I love how thorough your video is!
came here for the marbling technique. i have tried to make cheesecake brownies before, but they always looked over-mixed and didn't have the cheesecake texture or taste due to that, so thank you!
This looks so delicious!
BTW, I love your videos Stephanie!! Thank you for the detailed step-by-step videos. I live in Korea and I subscribe to your channel!! LoVE IT!!!
Instant subscriber. A woman after my own heart. Yummy!
Hi, I had just bake this brownie today. I had follow exactly the ingredient and the method given. However, my chocolate brownie seems kind of more to liquid then a dough. After I bake it with 160 degree for 45 min, the chocolate brownie kind of wet. Is it how it suppose to be?
How much sugar should we add if we were to use semi sweet dark chocolate ?
Hi, thanks for that :) Brownies came out great, a little underdone but only because my old oven was a little weak and any higher would have overdone the edges completely. Going to try them again this weekend in a brand new fan oven.
Hi Stephanie. The first time I ate this wonderful dessert was at Starbucks and I always went back to get more of it. Thanks to you now for sharing this recipe. Just a question: can I use canola oil instead of butter in the brownie batter?
Thank you for this recipe Stephanie 😊
They look great well done thanks for the recipi
Thak you! |I love Joy of Baking! Delicious!

Hi Stephanie, I love your videos! In fact, I watched your Vanilla Cake recipie for my Dad's Suprise Birthday and he loved it!
I was wondering if I could use a less fat content cream cheese on the brownies and in your other recipes involving cream chesse? lots of love!
These look great! Just wondering; if I want to halve the recipe, what size pan should I use and at what temperature and for how long should I bake the brownies? Thanks!
Also, if I halve it, what size mold should I use?
I've made this and its so delicious! Thank you for your awesome recipes! :)
I'm enjoying starving by looking at this video. -____-
Would you suggest adding lemon juice into the cream cheese batter for this recipe? Thanks.
Sorry, but I've never tried using semi sweet chocolate in these brownies.
Yummy! Made these today, they were great.
Brownie part seems much more gooey than the regular brownie you did. Is it right? I followed exactly or should i bake it longer? But when i put the toothpick in and it came out clean. My kids asked if it can be made more like regular brownie. Can you advise? Many thanks
they look reeeally tasty thanks for the demo
turned out delicious... thanks for the recipe x
love your cream cheese brownies recipe it is great recipe
Yeah u are the best I've seen so far.
Can I use semi sweet and less sugar? Love all your videos 🌹🌹👍👏🏼
They really look lovely Stephanie!! I'm letting my curiosity wonder wild - could we possibly substitute the last dollops of batter with Nutella? And to compliment the chocolate batter with the same aroma, could we add a few hazel nuts in it?
Queen Cleo That sounds like a great idea. I bet they would taste amazing.
Stephanie, please make red velvet creamcheese squares! Thanks! I trust your recipes.
Beautiful! Thank you for the recipe. I may give it a go next week... The hardest part for me is to find gluten-free and lactose-free ingredients,though-))
Thank you it's very nice and easy i'll try it
Hello Robert hear enjoy baking with you HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM CANADA
how if I use parchment paper instead of aluminum foil? thanks
They look GREAT! Well done!
hi stephanie, i'm throwing my baby's 1st bday party this sunday and i really want to make this. the problem is i cant find any good quality dark choc here where i live, so can i use dark cocoa powder instead? is it possible to make the brownie and the cream cheese without eggs? coz i'm afraid some kids are allergic to eggs. please kindly advice. thx in advance.
Love the channel, found it whilst studying for uni finals... quick question about fan assisted ovens. They tend to be a little on the more intense side as regards heat. so just wondered if 160 was fine maybe take the heat down 10 degrees or so.
Superb ...just wanted to know how long I can store this cream cheese brownie ..what is the shelf life
They can be stored in the refrigerator for 4 to 5 days and they can be frozen.
Mrs. Stephanie, can you please do a demonstration on red velvet cream cheese brownies?
Joy of Baking Thank you so much these look amazing . I love your channel, your recipes are so good. I'm planning to make these over the weekend. I have low fat cream cheese will that work. Even the full fat cream cheese here is the spreadable kind which is soft. I havnt been able to find firm cream cheese. Thanks again xx

I'm an Taiwanese and when I try on most of the American or British recipes I always feel tooooo sweet just like a mouth full of sugar but when I try your recipes I always feel that its just the right balance of sweetness for me,can I ask if you less the amount of sugar?????
Coco brownies
I have done this recipe several times which is a bestseller to my family and friends. However, I moved from another country in which unsweetened chocolate is so hard to find. Would it be okay to use your cocoa brownie recipe with the cream cheese filling? Hope to hear from you, Stephanie. Thank you for sharing your recipes.
+bituin berces Yes, I think that would work.
You could, but the baking time will be longer.
Wow, looks delicious!
I love all your videos, i have tried ur cocoa brownie love love love
