I know you like to work on Sundays so a few weeks ago right after you had got back home from Florida, I told my wife that I had a pretty good idea you'd be working and where you'd be. As I live in Wake Forest it wasn't too far to go so we loaded up our border collie and road over to where you were clearing Jeff's house lots and sure enough you were working around the little pond on the Komatsu dozer. I wanted to hang around and watch for a few minutes and maybe say hello. My wife told me that I shouldn't be bothering you while you were working on Sunday so we left you to it. Hard work has always been in your way of doing business. Keep it up.
Yay, fires! Been looking forward to this. I appreciate the care you take in tending to your brush pile fires. Once again, you make it look easy when it's anything but. Thanks, Chris.
Chris, I do a lot of clearing and brush pile burning. The best way I've found to light piles, even when they're wet, is with a large propane pear burner (or weed burner) torch running about half-way open. Place it on a spot with some smaller kindling and let it go. It's so easy it feels like cheating. Nice work!
someone who can't mind their own business. Someone go's out looking for trouble in their own minds and has to call it to someone attention like cops or fire departments. A real pain in the ass.
Nothing like a good hot fire to dry wet cloths Chris…lol. In your line of work…You’ve got to take that burn window when Mother Nature presents itself. This property and pond is going to look awesome when you’re finished.
Yeah, got to go right now and get all that funk off the New truck !! Gonna have to dump a bucket or 2 on the dozer and excavators too !! Guins Bon- Fires, you got it we'll burn it !! lololol... Great as always Chris !! Have a Great Evening, And, On too the Next !!
I do love watching Chris working a bonfire. I guess it must be my youth and teens camping in the Boy Scouts and Explorers As a teen also party bonfire parties we called grassers in high school. Alwa couple of flat hay trailers end to end for garage bands to play on at Fedells farm. Danny Ferdell ran an underground power canle out there to power the equipment and lights.
Way it’s all burning I’d say the way you build the burn piles is why it’s burns like it does.do you check your hydraulic hoses to see it any suffered burns after you finish up. Great video as always.great video great job.just keep doing your thing,be safe 😎😎😎👍👍👍
The old 220 really is a versatile machine. Bigger isn't always better. It handled those big trees just fine. It just goes to show that it really is a great all purpose machine. 👍👍
2 parts diesel to 1 part gas and add corn starch to it until you get it about stiff jelly... Place in 1 gallon zip lock bags and place where needed, light the bag and walk away... Wash, rinse, repeat.... Add hand held blower or back pack blower for as long as you need. Also if you make your piles like big doughnut with a small void in center and light it on the inside it gets lots of air... And dry out the outside to consume faster and less smoke
Hi Chris, nice day for a fire or 4. We need the rsin by it sucks working in it. Thanks for sharing, Chris, and please be careful and God bless you and all your friends and family ❤
Nothing like a rainy day to bring out the diesel fuel fire starter. Everything going good. Thanks for the video. Find a rain cloud on the way home. See you tomorrow.
Ashes to ashes. The beauty that will develop in the near future from the exchange of minerals back into the soil is well worth the investment, besides the property will be more useful for development.
I knew when I made plans last week for yard work it would rain, (I’m west of Greensboro) and you’d be burning. Let me know next time you need to burn, I’ll make plans.
My wife wants me evaluated ! Everytime you start burning I run, grab the marshmallows & chocolate bars and hold them over my Ipad!!! What’s her problem??
I agree as a former business owner now retired I tried Sunday off as much as possible but didn’t work a lot of even a lot of holidays fortunately your in controlled climate at times where we were exposed to the elements everyday

Whenever I'm burning, if I use the hoe to manage the fire, I just end up putting the fire out! I must be doing something wrong!!
Don't forget to make a note where you bury it all 🤣🤣🤣
The bonfire master!
Good job mate love your work I really enjoy watching some one who knows how to operate a machine looking forward to seeing your next video ❤❤❤

Watching a Fire to burn. It like watching paint dry. Or watching Grass to grow. Those things you can do when You retire.
Your buckets rattling 😆 🤣 😂

That is one good looking truck. I hope everything burns. Everything is looking good. Have a Blessed Day.
Rain is truly Your friend.
Between your fires and digging capabilities you could get rid of a body pretty easily! 😬
Yeah so you don't want to piss him off 😂😂😂

Thank you Sir for this video
Thx bro! That was fun and really cool. 👍😎
You got everything burning good,..

Wildland firefighters around me mix 3 parts diesel with one part gasoline for their driptorches. (Ratio varies)
Fire ash is wildly acidic, if you don't want it to damage the paint on your truck, do more than hope that a trip down a wet highway washes it.

Diesel that doesn't burn? Must have got that from the tank marked imflammable.
Like the video Chris ,you did a great job on fire .
Chris in his happy place again!
Not sure which is more fun to watch now. Rock crusher or burn piles? I know which one Chris prefers. 😊
Good one thanks

Burning piles and clearing lakes seems like it would be a much nicer day then smashing concrete and running a crusher
Chris I hope that you brought the Winnies and the Marshmallows to roast so you can get some thing to eat
He’s got a generator, microwave and a factor steak dinner….
@thewildlifer there's nothing wrong with the factor meals😊
