In Jersey if I were to say the words "and a couple gallons of diesel fuel , we'll see if it burns" I'd have every authority at my front door in 3 hours 🤣😅
Here in northern Wisconsin we’d use 10 gallons of diesel, 4 gallons of gasoline, 4 gallons of waste oil and 6 old car tires. And that would be a good burn!
Why anyone would want to live in a place like that, I don’t understand. It’s still a free country, you can move out here to Oklahoma where you can live & enjoy your life. Come on out.
Hard to believe that pile burned down that quick, it was a nice, clean burn though, glad it burned that nice for you. The pond really looks good now with it nearly full, going to be a good view from that new house. Thanks for the update, appreciate the video.
Poor Jeff is never gonna live that down! We know that river birches burn great- just took two of them down and are waiting for the right conditions to burn our pile- it’s 50 ft long, and about 5 feet high!there’s two apple trees, one cherry stump, one leyland cypress, two river birches, and a bradford pear!
Cool idea to run Timelapse during this burn!! That pile was dry, it almost disappeared during your visit!! Good catch on the maintenance!! That would have been a show stopper!!
Good catch on the bolts. Good catch because you do maintain and take care of your equipment. Nice fire, it was fun to watch. Thanks for sharing, Chris.
I think the Bealy Good projects will absolutely be the most marathon job right up to your retirement with all the zeros that Geoff has and probably will continue to shell out I won't lie ... I'm a bit envious of both of you Continued good fortunes to both of you and yours!
Yes this project was a huge undertaking out on your own, accomplished with the experience and skill acquired over the years of working in the industry - well done it looks fantastic, and it has been a joy to watch the transformation of this property. Good you found Barney's 'problem'.
I'm continually impressed with your attention to preventative maintenance. Not only does it mean your equipment looks good and works well, it seems it can also save you from catastrophe!
Servicing your machines as you do regularly and keeping a watchful eye on things is how you divert potential problems like finding the missing bolts fix that as he says all ways some thing when you run machines The drive by of the road and dam looks good owner must be pleased with that and all the trails innthe woods top job is all i can say except thanks for sharing the journey with us Cheers
Nice job as always, looked like it was the right day to burn that pile, was more there than I thought.,like you said between Jeff and this landowner they will keep you busy for few more years, plus all your other customers and projects.great video.just continue doing what your doing and on to the next project 😎😎😎👍👍👍
Awesome video's.... Love your show.... Good humor, great machine experience,.... You are one of the few that safely operate and maintain your equipment....
Chris what a find (loose driveline bolts) just because you like grease. I don't like to tell people how to but I would put red loctite on those bolts so they never back out again. Not how to, just an idea. Ten thumbs up emoji's
Chris you have made this property so beautiful. Thank you for the overview. Pond turned out beautiful as always. That is one giant stump. Nice fire. Have a great week.
Chris is definitely the Master at burn plie construction and efficiency at controlling them. I'm amazed at how he got that much logs and brush to burn up over 90 percent in one day without melting down his excavator. Plus finding out Barney had a pretty serious problem. A drive shaft dropping can cause a serious accident. My oldest brother had a drive shaft drop and dig in on an Army Jeep he was driving in the 70's and it flipped it. Luck for him it thru him out into a larger sand pile so he landed just right and only suffered some cracked ribs and one leg injury. He was a paratrooper so he was able to have some control over how he landed. He's rated 40 percent just for that incident post retirement. Another 30 for other issues.
I get rid of all the ashes with my backpack blower. The ashes float across the field and worked into the soil. I always do it at night so some tree hugger doesn’t see what’s going on. We used to save the ashes from the wood stove to put in the potato row to keep the potato bugs off the planted potatoes.
The ashes create a great form of carbon for the vegetation and plants people plant. The mineral and other chemical and carbon are needed for plant growth. They help make plants grow. Sure I have run into several spots on my property, they had bricks in them. Not ashes. I've found chard logs of medium size showing a burn site. This property was a large Farm and then 100 years ago turned into a Sawmill operation to log the local region. Co2 is absorbed directly into leaves. Carbon cycle.
Found that it's very hard to keep some things tight have had to use fiber lock bolts very often but sometimes had to double up the nuts to stop them backing off
Looks like you picked the perfect day, Chris, to burn, what a lot of burning material. Stay safe, Sending God's blessings, Keep on Smiling, Wanda In Ok, Bartlesville, Ok.
That's the 2nd reason you service a piece of equipment every day. It's amazing what you find just by putting your hands on it or maybe a casual glance you notice something that doesn't look the same as yesterday.
The only way I can tell the newer 220 and the older 220 is the tines on the thumbs a testament to the quality of preventive maintenance, and no wounds on the counter weight in this video!
Lucky you caught the drive shaft bolts missing - my dad years ago had the drive shaft on his truck (regular pickup) come lose and dig into the road - flipped him up and over (minor injuries) - could have been worse.
Nice job on the fire and kudos to you for catching the bolt situation.👍 Probably all those stump holes as you snaked your way back and forth through the trails.
Everything looks great Chris, another great quality job by Letsdig18 ! Between this client and Jeff, they’ve kept you hopping my friend! That’s what pays the bills though! 👍🏻
digging hard ground around those 3 trees and zero wobble on those bucket pins good job maintaining that excavator it looks like still in the break in period
I have had to replace bolts just because they wouldn’t stay tight. The threads were worn down and they wouldn’t stay tight on the front drive case on my little Kubota. Was afraid that the hole threads were shot but been maybe 3 years and they have not came loose.
Hmm, wouldn't expect those bolts to be working loose, unless it's been getting super hot in use and the hot-cold cycling has broken down the thread-lock and worked them out. In which case you have to ask why it's getting that hot, is a bearing going out maybe?
I love the music you play when you do the flyovers with the drone. I'd like to know who created it and play it when I'm doing odd jobs on my 38 acres. Awesome inferno.
Chris, are those logs going to a pulp mill or for lumber? I really enjoy seeing the progress of these large jobs and the great result you provide in the end. You're a true craftsman, engineer and designer all wrapped up in one.
Little logs like those got to a softwood pulp mill. They are too small for sawn lumber so they use them for a lot of purposes. Those processors don’t waste a chip.
Even if you make zero dollars on a load of logs your still saving money. Hours of burn time and your hourly rate is what you're saving. No one going to take brush and limbs so your stuck with that. Problem is can you find people to take the logs off your hands.
With all the vibrations that truck encounters might be a good idea to put some blue Loctite on the threads, just to keep them from starting to loosen .Best to wash the threads with a shot of brake cleaner or electrical contact cleaner before the Loctite or it will never set-up right.
When you decide to build your home put heated floors in the basement that's in the cement cuts your heating down big time and your basement toastie warm and not moisture smell ever then it's good useable space
I was wondering when you would be servicing the truck. Its done a lot of work since you took the wheels off. How do you measure when it's due. Hours worked or annually. It seems the hours it has worked, it moved a great deal off material.?
If you bury the ashes make sure he don't decide to put a pool there..😂 like Jeff 😂
“Bury them here. It’ll be fine”. Famous last words! 😂
The same thought ran through my mind as well!🤣
😅😂
😂

Time to move! Lol!
They would first make sure they got your permit money in jersey.
Why anyone would want to live in a place like that, I don’t understand.
It’s still a free country, you can move out here to Oklahoma where you can live & enjoy your life. Come on out.
You are the KING of fires. Lots of them and huge ones to boot!
Wow that's a lot of brush!
Great job! Thanks for the shots of the pond. It's beautiful.❤
Hard to believe that pile burned down that quick, it was a nice, clean burn though, glad it burned that nice for you. The pond really looks good now with it nearly full, going to be a good view from that new house. Thanks for the update, appreciate the video.
Wasn't that the pond that so many said would take years to fill? 🙂
Chris’s pyrotechnic display with fallen trees and brush!!
Gotta Love the fires that Chris builds 🙂I remember this project, and nice, when you are called back to do more work.
Chris, so when you burry the ashes and trash you also determine the future location where the owner will want a swimming pool in a few years 😂…
Poor Jeff is never gonna live that down! That’ll be fun to take care of, just be careful & take your time, it’ll go just go away.
Now that’s a fire + the letsdig18 signature music, it’s absolutely 💯 perfect.

I won't lie ... I'm a bit envious of both of you
Continued good fortunes to both of you and yours!
I'm always anxious thinking the hydrophilic lines are cooking when you're feeding a fire like that. 😆
I guess the circulating fluid helps it not get too hot.
I think you mean "Hydraulic".... Hydrophilic means water-loving; having an affinity for water.
You really do make beautiful lakes! Well done !!

It makes a difference when you own it, you’d better take care of it.
Many $$$ if you don’t.
Chris what a find (loose driveline bolts) just because you like grease. I don't like to tell people how to but I would put red loctite on those bolts so they never back out again. Not how to, just an idea. Ten thumbs up emoji's
Luv the burn and clean up! The property is developing beautifully thanks to ur expertise! We'll done!!! God's blessings and be safe.
You have made an amazing improvement and look forward to the remainder to completion.
Your customer's property is..... beautiful! You have done a wonderful job transforming that property into a dream come true! God bless.
Thanks for your program. You’re very talented . You make your work look fun. Thanks
Saw a firenado there for a bit during the time lapse! Beauty!
Just can’t get enough of the music that you choose to
What a interesting project. The pond looks awesome. Thank you and have a wonderful day.
That's a T-Shirt. "Drive shaft leaving the Chat"..Haaaaa
Thanks for the great videos
That pond need some TinyIronclads in them for FUN! 😱😁👍👍🇺🇸
THANKS!
You, sir, are a master of fire. 🔥
Job well done 👍🏻
Chris you have made this property so beautiful. Thank you for the overview. Pond turned out beautiful as always. That is one giant stump. Nice fire. Have a great week.
Chris great video! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
Love this property it's beautiful .
I would love to see the before and after drone video of this project! Great work!
Honestly, I don’t know how you stay as patient as you do. This project absolutely stressed me out!😂😂😂 But you always do a great job.
Always enjoy your videos,..

Thank you for your efforts to hold off the next ice age. :)
Enjoyed watching the video Chris 😊
Have a great week Chris! Take care and God Bless!!!❤😊

❤❤❤ fine fire!!!
Thanks
Lovely place. I like the dams you build. There are some really beautiful ones
Can’t imagine the heat from that type of fire. What a dance between stacking and not putting your equipment in too much danger.
After a lot of work It sure looks so Beautiful 😊😊😊
That time lapse was cool…you make that machine come alive!
Well done on to the next one have a great evening 👍🏻🇺🇲
Another great video from this project bro, good save on Barney too. Safe travels. Ken.
Found that it's very hard to keep some things tight have had to use fiber lock bolts very often but sometimes had to double up the nuts to stop them backing off
Use to love having a fire use to find it very relaxing when you get it going well and have time to sit and watch it burning brilliant in the winter
Looks like you picked the perfect day, Chris, to burn, what a lot of burning material. Stay safe, Sending God's blessings, Keep on Smiling, Wanda In Ok, Bartlesville, Ok.
Great burn great video thanks Chris
You got it a lot of stuff gone 👍😎🇺🇸 NY nicely done

digging hard ground around those 3 trees and zero wobble on those bucket pins good job maintaining that excavator it looks like still in the break in period
Hope you do a follow up on that huge pond dam job, will probably be some time before it fills.
I have had to replace bolts just because they wouldn’t stay tight. The threads were worn down and they wouldn’t stay tight on the front drive case on my little Kubota. Was afraid that the hole threads were shot but been maybe 3 years and they have not came loose.
YES finely burn day bin weighting for this

That’s one of those bad news good news things with the missing bolts.
Thats a fire.
🔥🔥
As I said before in other videos, no wasted motion and every swing of the bucket is a productive one. Doesn't run the machine hard either.
I’ve heard that river birches burn really good
That fire was so hot, my TV set off the smoke alarm😀
I love the music you play when you do the flyovers with the drone. I'd like to know who created it and play it when I'm doing odd jobs on my 38 acres. Awesome inferno.
Hey Chris loctite is a wonderful asset for bolts that work loose.Woops guess i wasnt the first to mention the loctite lol.
Chris, are those logs going to a pulp mill or for lumber? I really enjoy seeing the progress of these large jobs and the great result you provide in the end. You're a true craftsman, engineer and designer all wrapped up in one.

Somebody has too much fun playing with fire.
Thanks. I enjoy the pile burn videos.
by riverbirtch you mean , ok no we call them sycamore way deferent, it's been a great ride on this end also. good catch
You should add some thread lock to those bolts on the drive shaft.
Chris, check your bucket on the other 220 at Bealygoods place. I noticed the side cutters on the bucket were loose when you were digging!
That’s a never ending battle.
Nice Fire
Nice catch on Barny, make sure the land owner will not want to put a pool anywhere near the burn pile, lol.
Even if you make zero dollars on a load of logs your still saving money. Hours of burn time and your hourly rate is what you're saving. No one going to take brush and limbs so your stuck with that. Problem is can you find people to take the logs off your hands.
yep www.ncforestservice.gov/Contacts/pdf/tb/tbwake.pdf
Give me a few minutes for this pyromaniac to clean up my drool . . . OK all good. Great video.
😊
Arson is a performance art.
🎉
Now, that’s a fire Chris! Get out the hot dogs! lol 😂 😂😂 That’s a lot to burn but from the looks of it, it won’t take long to turn into ashes! 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Nice video Chris, glad you caught the loose bolts on barnie. Did you get the mini fixed where it wouldn't high tram?
Good thing you were observant, had that drive shaft dropped out, that would have been WTF moment mess. But you already know that!
With all the vibrations that truck encounters might be a good idea to put some blue Loctite on the threads, just to keep them from starting to loosen .Best to wash the threads with a shot of brake cleaner or electrical contact cleaner before the Loctite or it will never set-up right.
