    I like the video because is narrated. Couple of things: The dozer in the river was lucky yo get out...The other dozzer in the beach why in God's name the operator put that machine over there??? But the operator in the excavator falling of the cliff is a complete morón! And definely the operator of that dozzer in the cliff need a raise.

      I run / operate a Volvo 110 loader and I miss the Cat 950 I used to use and if I ever did this I would and expect to be fired on the spot. This is not running/ operating but just plain stupid and abused a machine to small for the job.

    Get your description right Its an excavator
    That rock is no where near 100 tons

    • @HeavyMiningEquipment
      @HeavyMiningEquipment  3 месяца назад

      No no, excavators are machines that excavate or dig, like the Komatsu PC4000, Volvo EC950E, Terex RH120... And wheel loaders are machines that load, push, or lift objects or materials, like the Volvo in the video, or the Komatsu WA600, or CAT 988K. And a rock like the one in the video, if it contains a lot of iron ore, can weigh over 100 tons. Trust me, I excavate them every day with an excavator.

    • @TassyDeval
      @TassyDeval 3 месяца назад +2

      @@HeavyMiningEquipment Yeh Garrey, big difference between an excavator and a loader. But u r right. Even with ore in there, that size of a rock would not be 100 tons. Im a truckie that drives with 45 tons every day and that aint no 2 fully loaded semis and a bit.

      My guess Mr Grader was on his way. I use to hate them sudden short rain storms that’s when it gets slick fastest. Or surprise water Tk put down little too much water. We put down a chemical dust control agent 1 time it made our haul roads so slick it stopped Haulage Tks for grand total of about 3 hours We always took pride nothing would stop us. That day we learned a lesson.

    The rock cracked due to it sitting on a smaller section on bottom.Section wasn't very wide at bottom.

    • @jeffharper7579
      @jeffharper7579 2 месяца назад +1

      If you are referring to the rock at 13:00 mark,I believe they drilled a hole in it and set a small change off In it, we have to once in a while if the rock is to large for a hammer to break it down so we can run it though the crusher. If you are a good operator you will never be on these videos and if you don't know much about the equipment you can be a narrator😵😵😵😵😵😵

    You got watch them highwalls now. I was talking to couple bosses 1 day I looked up took about 3 backwards steps said we need scale the high wall at that second about a 30 to 4O ton rock hit right where I was standing dust all over us. 1 of them lucky or amazing moments. A blast went wrong 1 day I sure got under a C beam in engine compartment real quick only to get a rocks rain storm to hit all over myself a other covered with dust moment I bet I had 2” of dust & small rocks covering myself. I look that Jake & Elwood from that Blues Brothers movie when that building blow up on them. Yes I was completely covered with dust & small rocks. Rocks passed myself peep out of engine compartment a crazy Boss was driving towards myself dodging rocks. I guess he was panicking thinking he was watching his career going down the toilet. I could type all day long the close calls I had. Sadly I lost couple good friends that wasn’t that lucky.
