Great addition to the equipment inventory. One thing I would suggest to add is a tire cover for the spare, the sun will ruin that tire by the time you need it. Two thumbs up!
That and/or a slightly larger solar panel for keeping the trailer batteries charged. If the front edge of the panel is hinged slightly in front of the spare all you would need to do is lift it up when a tire needs to be changed.
Beautiful trailer! Cut a rectangle of crap 3/4" ply to lay in the bottom of your chain box. It will prevent banging it all out from dropping your binders in it.
I noticed in a previous video a quick view of the trailer, I must say you don't just buy equipment, you design what your experience has taught you that will make it unique to the way you work. Something new to the fleet to aid working smart. Mike UK
With your tie down straps, always wind them back up into a roll, so that they store neatly, and don't get all tangled up. Nothing worse then tangled straps, especially when you are in a bit of a hurry or it's raining.
Should make you feel good that your business is successful enough to allow you to own the tools you need to be successful! Congratulations! You deserve it.
Now what you need is a backup camera for your bed like I put on my dually so I could see the gooseneck ball. They make a wireless one that would probably be good for you. Love the trailer Chris.
You should show Geoff your new toy, he'll be tickled pink. Now it's even easier to move your equipment around. Nice addition to the inventory. Noticed the battery terminal cover was off on the gate battery though. BIG BRIGHT LIGHTS mounted on the neck for night loading. Congratulations sir.
I absolutely love seeing you and other RUclipsrs growing the businesses they've created with New or New-2-You tools, etc. The viewers are the proverbial fly on the wall celebrating the growth and effort put into your project
Great choice of trailer! I’ve worked with PJ Trailers since 1991 when they opened up, and still currently work with them at one of their largest dealerships down in Texas, so if you have any questions or issues, I’m sure I can get it handled
Chris, Another well thought out piece of equipment added to your fleet. Your doing it right. Invest in good equipment, take good care of it, spend your valuable time making $$ -vs- wasting your time making repairs. Keep it up!!
Jeff is a great contributing person to have as a client! That's great Chris! It takes a while to build up the fleet of equipment! Looks great!! TTT Things Take Time!!!
Geoff is great to provide you with all the toys!! LOL! That's the way it works Chris. As you go in business, you have to always make upgrades into your business! They always pay off!!
That trailer is also perfect to install 4 heavy duty outriggers. One on each corner, so you don't have to unload the machine. If you're just doing a small Culver, clean now?Or a couple 100 feet of ditching on a paved road.I think it would be a big help
I have the same PJ Trailer but 37 foot and absolutely LOVE it, I wouldn't go back to any other trailer, and I can agree with the length being a pain sone times, going from a bigtex 25 foot to a pj 37 foot had a bit of learning but nothing too bad
Nice. The lock on the cylinder is a cool feature. Perhaps an adaptation for my dump trailer is in order (in lieu of built in jack stands to use ramps and load Mini)? 🤔
An idea, when you have a bunch of trees to go to the mill, you might be able to haul them yourself, at least gather them to a location that a log hauler can pick them up easier. There’s a lot of things that you will be able to do with it. Moving the Komatsu will be a help. Thank you Sir, it’s a nice rig.
That`s a beauty sir, I know they don`t come cheap, but that has everything you will ever need. I like the metal plate where you park, takes a lot of wear and tear off the wood.
Congratulations Chris, that is a beautiful trailer and it makes the truck and trailer combo scream professional at work, hope it does everything as well as you want to. Thanks for the video, enjoyed the walk thru.
You clearly understand that your strength is finite so you engage your mind to enhance your productivity. Just like your fuel trailer purchase, this new trailer shows your understanding of just how hard your work is on you.
Very nice a well thought out trailer ,here in Australia we have steel floors not Timber a lot of our older RGN type had wooden decks ,i guess as they say different horses for different courses😅😅😅😅 Kym Adelaide
Nice trailer, been using one for years, much better than a bumper pull. Your cooler is in a bad place. If you cross a dip or up an incline the neck will mash the cooler.
Every trailer that I am able to control the balance point of the trailer on the axle or axles of the trailer I always buy longer and have an empty tongue of about 100 to no more than 200 pounds so it can be moved with ease. As for my loaded trailers I am always very careful to properly balance the load so as not to cause problems when hauling whatever I haul. Trailering is an art and loading is an art as well. I try to teach friends that art. Thank you Chris and I always wish you well.
PJ is great, we run almost the identical trailer, different decking, 26000 rated, been in service almost 10 years, no problems, we have "Speedbinders" best ever.......... we call those steps, "shin killers "
Nice Gooseneck trailer, Chris. I hope it serves you well for all you need it for. It looks nice, too, but the oak boards will make it a lot better and will last a lot longer. You deserve the best because you are the best, be careful, and God bless you.
Great addition to the equipment inventory. One thing I would suggest to add is a tire cover for the spare, the sun will ruin that tire by the time you need it. Two thumbs up!
That is a great suggestion.
Also consider having it rust proofed with fluid film or similar rust prevention.
Was thinking the same thing😁😁
That and/or a slightly larger solar panel for keeping the trailer batteries charged. If the front edge of the panel is hinged slightly in front of the spare all you would need to do is lift it up when a tire needs to be changed.
Great suggestion, might also want to consider a cover for the hydraulic reservoir up there.
Awesome rig👍
Thank you Geoff for my new trailer!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 C'mon now Michael we all know it's Chris's house by the pond Geoff is paying for. 👍👍
Next Chris might be hauling ICF panels for Geoff and his developments
LOL
Geoff just keeps givin. What a guy 😂
😂
Beautiful trailer! Cut a rectangle of crap 3/4" ply to lay in the bottom of your chain box. It will prevent banging it all out from dropping your binders in it.
Chris - it needs LD18 stickers and decals on it!
For what?
Beautiful trailer and well thought out. Congrats, Chris, on extending your fleet.
Hydraulic dovetails are the bees knees. Nice trailer.
That sounds like a very British comment!
@@JamesB_JamesB I actually picked it up in Wyoming before moving to Georgia. But the more I think about it, it does sound pretty British.
@@dclfarms6204 An alternative British expression meaning very much the same would be "the dog's bollocks".
First class equipment as usual. I noticed the side stake pockets for hauling pipes or logs. Very nice.
Top notch equipment..I’d expect nothing less from LD18!
Can you get a mini and skidsteer on there? That would be the ultimate haul with a pickup.
Yes
Ha! You see an equipment trailer to haul, uh, equipment. I see a dive platform ready for use at every pond, ever.
It's a beauty - paid for with hard long work hours. Worth waiting for.
CONGRATULATIONS CHRIS 🎊 👏 💐 IF ANY BODY DESERVE THIS ITS YOU!!!...YOU ARE A HARD WORKING MAN...😊🎉🎉..
Yeah buddy, that will serve you well. You can't beat that trailer, that's awesome
Great purchase and addition to the fleet.
Happy for you Chris, looks like a great addition to your equipment..
Should make you feel good that your business is successful enough to allow you to own the tools you need to be successful! Congratulations! You deserve it.
Your just about ready for full time maintenance supervisor with all the equipment!
Nice goose neck that’ll make it easy getting in and out of driveways and other areas. The wait was well worth it nice addition
Now what you need is a backup camera for your bed like I put on my dually so I could see the gooseneck ball. They make a wireless one that would probably be good for you. Love the trailer Chris.
It’s built into his truck. It’s pretty standard on new trucks.
@@ryanjohnson8340 Not usually for the gooseneck. I have one for the bumper, but had to install one for my gooseneck.
You work hard for what you have.
Also it will help you as you get older. Love the step
CONGRATULATIONS nice trailer Chris
You should show Geoff your new toy, he'll be tickled pink. Now it's even easier to move your equipment around. Nice addition to the inventory. Noticed the battery terminal cover was off on the gate battery though. BIG BRIGHT LIGHTS mounted on the neck for night loading. Congratulations sir.

Chris I am so proud for you. Splendid looking trailer. Have a great weekend.
Great choice of trailer! I’ve worked with PJ Trailers since 1991 when they opened up, and still currently work with them at one of their largest dealerships down in Texas, so if you have any questions or issues, I’m sure I can get it handled
That's a great trailer. Being able to haul the Komatsu will simplify your logistics.👍
Life is good when you can upgrade the fleet. You earned it Chris.
Beautiful - well designed, versatile trailer that will make your life a bit easier. Congratulations on your continued growth and success, Chris!
Sweet trailer. Good luck with it. Thanks for sharing 👍
Yep, damn nice for sure and for certain! South Texas is envious!
Chris,
Another well thought out piece of equipment added to your fleet.
Your doing it right. Invest in good equipment, take good care of it, spend your valuable time making $$ -vs- wasting your time making repairs.
Keep it up!!
Very nice, well thought out unit Chris.!!
Jeff is a great contributing person to have as a client! That's great Chris! It takes a while to build up the fleet of equipment! Looks great!! TTT Things Take Time!!!
4:02 Cover that lower bolt (or the whole box) with a tough cover before it bites a big hole in the back of your hand! Especially in the dark!
Geoff is great to provide you with all the toys!! LOL! That's the way it works Chris. As you go in business, you have to always make upgrades into your business! They always pay off!!
Yuppers, that trailer has every option Chris could possibly want.
Now he just needs speed binders to spead up tie downs and untie downs up.
Congratulations Chris you certainly deserve it you work so hard
Logger Wade may have Black Locust planks for your trailer deck upgrade when the time comes. The toughest of the tough.
Nice trailer. You might want to put a mud flap on the drive side front tire so you don't beat the crap of the pump toolbox.
That trailer is also perfect to install 4 heavy duty outriggers. One on each corner, so you don't have to unload the machine. If you're just doing a small Culver, clean now?Or a couple 100 feet of ditching on a paved road.I think it would be a big help
Now you need a pipe welded on for the barn broom to clear the decks.
I have the same PJ Trailer but 37 foot and absolutely LOVE it, I wouldn't go back to any other trailer, and I can agree with the length being a pain sone times, going from a bigtex 25 foot to a pj 37 foot had a bit of learning but nothing too bad
Yep, that set up looks just like you engineered to be that way. Nice hauling rig, the older you get the more you will appreciate having "easy things".
Happy to see the Rigsbee sticker on there. They're good people.
❤
On the dove tail?? ( from experience) we bolted down grip bars on the wood .. wet wood an muddy tracks don’t grip kinda like ice skating 😂
A nice new addition to the fleet of equipment Chris. Goosenecks are so much better in my opinion.
Nice. The lock on the cylinder is a cool feature. Perhaps an adaptation for my dump trailer is in order (in lieu of built in jack stands to use ramps and load Mini)? 🤔
Very nice, congrats Chris, something needed to add to the fleet.doesn’t hurt to make it a little easier for you.keep drawing your thing 😎😎😎👍👍👍
That’s pretty sweet. Those tires should hold up better than what James had. 😊
the toy hat helps haul the other toys...always needed...
Nice, very nice. Congrats, Chris.
Nice!! May need some extra traction on the ramp boards for muddy conditions.
This is a sweet trailer for equipment, logs and Culverts.
With tailgate built for easy loading
That trailer looks superb. So much that I'd like one too. Oh, and the pick-up to go with it of course!!! Thanks for the inspiration, from UK.
I got plenty miles hauling 39s on our 35ft trailer with the 12k axles. Never had any issues
Awesome man!!! You can haul that excavator and skid loader no problem! I do it every day with my 550
An idea, when you have a bunch of trees to go to the mill, you might be able to haul them yourself, at least gather them to a location that a log hauler can pick them up easier.
There’s a lot of things that you will be able to do with it. Moving the Komatsu will be a help.
Thank you Sir, it’s a nice rig.
As per usual, Chris went above and beyond. This is a awesome trailer!
That ramp decking looks like it could get a bit slippery when wet, but I bet you’ll come up with a solution If it does. Nice addition though.
With Ford tow package, you can keep track of the trailer miles.
Looks cool,,,👍👍☘️☘️☘️✌️
You might want to add a pair of pads to put under the jacks for times you park the trailer where the ground could get soft after rain.
Interesting that what you call a dovetail in the US we call a Beavertail in the UK - as a Dovetail is a method of joining wood!
Congrats on the new trailer. Well deserved. Looks like a very nice setup.
Nice trailer maybe pads high enough to clear tailgate.
The first thing I did with ours few coats of grey paint and with the last coat put layer of play sand makes awesome traction and durability
That`s a beauty sir, I know they don`t come cheap, but that has everything you will ever need. I like the metal plate where you park, takes a lot of wear and tear off the wood.
You may want to add more grousers to the wood part of the ramp for traction. Gtrat trailer!
You coming off the trailer must of been a bit of pucker factor. :) Congratulations on the new trailer. Thank you and have a good day.
Lets dig painted on the deck!!!!
Thats a nice trailer Chris. 👍 Bob. New Zealand.
Very nice trailer and you have worked very hard for what you have!
Congratulations Chris, that is a beautiful trailer and it makes the truck and trailer combo scream professional at work, hope it does everything as well as you want to. Thanks for the video, enjoyed the walk thru.
Wow, nice trailer, nice planning, nice work
You clearly understand that your strength is finite so you engage your mind to enhance your productivity. Just like your fuel trailer purchase, this new trailer shows your understanding of just how hard your work is on you.
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC TRAILER MAKE LIFE EASY
Dandy looking trailer to be sure Chris.
Two things to always remember ; lower that tailgate on the truck , and lock all of the compartments when leaving it sit overnight away from home .
Get a tyre cover for the spare tyre, as the sun will beat directly down onto rubber and ruin it.
Very nice a well thought out trailer ,here in Australia we have steel floors not Timber a lot of our older RGN type had wooden decks ,i guess as they say different horses for different courses😅😅😅😅
Kym

We have both. Steel is a optional add on.
A reverse camera on the tray will make connecting easier
Mango Bango that's onenice trailer.
Definitely going to make it easier for Chris to move certain equipment in his inventory.
That is a nice trailer. She will serve you well
Sweet trailer, congrats. Love the hydraulic landing gear and Dove tail.
How about a winch?
man. You deserved that! proud of how far u came from the time i started following u !
Chris ya definitely have enough truck and trailer to haul the small dozer. We have the same dozer and haul it with the same setup as you
Nice trailer, been using one for years, much better than a bumper pull.
Looks good Chris. Worth the money.
Congratulations Chris. Very nice
Nice addition Chris iam a firm believer in buying the best when it is time to do so. Congratulations
Chreis, Love the new trailer, and will serve you will with any smaller equiptment that you have to get from one job to another and back home again..
I’ve had a pj for years. Well made trailers. Mine took 30 days to build. You’ll love it.
I would put a GPS tracker on rhat baby, there are some not so honest people out ther who would love that rig!
I'm happy for you Chris, now you have to figure out how to get Jeff to pay for it 😂😂. I think it's going to make your life much better.
Nice trailer . I caught a glimpse of it in yesterday’s video
