Awesome unboxing Ana, Brian sent you some real beauties there. Love the Ariocarpus. Very generous of him 😊 Look great all potted up at the end as well. Thank you for sharing with us as always Ana, from Edith & myself, be safe and well and have a wonderful day 😊🌵☀️🌺🌸🌼🏜☕️
YIPPEEEEEE this was such an EXCITING unboxing video and oh my WOWSERS what an INCREDIBLE and very beautiful selection of so many gorgeous plants that Brian has gifted you
Desert Plants of Avalon thanks, Lyn! I keep admiring Brian’s echinopsis flowers on Instagram and now I have some pups from his own collection, too. I’m excited to see them flower. 😃🌺🌵🌸🌵🌼
Isn't happy mail just the best?? What a generous friend you have in Brian. I'm off to visit his site. Thanks for sharing your lovely collection with us.
It truly is special. I feel more “attached” to plants given to me than those that I purchased myself. 🙂 Thanks Joan! Hope you are well and your plants blooming for you.
You will love Abuca Spiralis! The common name is frizzle sizzle. The leaves are curly and are more curly when grown in the sun. It flowers in the spring and goes dormant in the summer. What nice gifts!
Hi Ana. Thank you for sharing your beautiful gift cacti with us! Thank you Brian, for your generous gift to Ana, making it possible to share her unboxing. What a nice way to spend some time, during our "shelter in place". It sure brightens our day! Thank you both, again! Stay safe and healthy. This, trying time too, shall pass. We're almost there! 🌼🌵☕☕🌵🌸💗😊
Joyce Hanson It sure is a great time to receive plants from friends. Any time is a good time but most especially now when we only go out to buy essentials. Thank you, Joyce!
@@CactusCaffeine You're right! And when you share what you receive with us, it's almost like we're receiving the gifts, too! (And we don't feel those spines making us say, "Ouch!"). 😉🌵🌼☕☕🌸🌵
Oh, thank you again Brian. I had so much fun doing that unboxing. I felt like a kid opening Christmas presents under the tree. ☺️ This was a learning experience for me as well. You introduced me to several new species. I just hope I can make them grow and eventually flower. 🌸🤞😉🌵
Kapeng barako is my fave as well! The aroma is amazing. 🥰 That was such an awesome unboxing from Brian. 😍 So much plants. I love Ariocarpus. They sell them for crazy amounts of money here. The Haworthia attenuata variegata, if the variegation is white, which I think it is, is rarer and more expensive. I got excited with all the Echinopsis and the rest of the plants. Cheers, Ana. Keep safe always! ❤️🌵🤗🥰❤️
Oh, I am so excited for the aeriocarpus and the variegated haworthia after what you said. They don’t sell barako coffee here so I always have to wait for somebody to come from the Philippines to bring me some. 😃 Ingat ka din Edith!
Cactus Caffeine my pleasure. I’m a big fan of succulents and cactus. I have started collecting succulents and cactus. Soon I will have a good collection of them
Wonderful plant haul!!!!! I used to live in Tuscon when I was young for about a year and a half, and yes there are sooo many different varieties of cactus there! Brian was very generous to have sent such wonderful plants such as the ariocarpus!!! I love these!!! I have a few and about 80 seedlings! Peniocereus is a plant I would love in my collection!!! And so many Echinopsis!! Awesome!!! From Morris park in the Ozarks have a safe and wonderful week ahead!!! Peace"Love,Plants!!!!!!✌💖🌵🌺🌴🌻🌿
80 Seedlings?! 😱 Yes, I saw your ariocarpus in your videos. Yours are big already! I need your advice on their care. Do you treat them like an ordinary desert type cactus?
This is awesome! Thank you for sharing with us your lovely collection. I also want to say that you are such a good person, I personally do not like noise so I would have called the cops on your neighbor's.
Ah cool thanks for answering my question. I only recently found out there were different "colors" of coffee. Light, medium, dark. I prefer dark too. I had a light roast and thought it tasted bad. My genergic coffee is is a medium roast. That's ok by me too. Congrats on the gifts. I know you've been wanting that Ariocarpus.
Great package!!! My sis had given me a peniocereus last year unfortunately I killed it some how :( Good luck with all your new additions I also have the albuca spiralis which does tend to go brown after it blooms. I didn’t realize it’s a winter grower or that it needs to be cut down, that makes a lot of sense. So thanks for that info!!
The albuca spiralis looks very interesting. I hope mine grows some leaves soon. It is hard to tell if it is alive when all I see is a bulb right now. Lol! Thanks Natty and good luck growing yours. 🙂
I love your videos, i have a suggestion could you do a video on growing cacti from seeds! I love your videos soooooooo much you inspire me to grow many cacti!
Aww, thank you for you heart-warming words. I am getting a lot of requests for growing cactus from seed. That is something that I will definitely work on, hopefully soon. I was waiting for this warmer weather to plant the seeds and make a video. Thank you, Karissa!
Hi Anna I've been watching your videos at RUclips I like all the videos that you've been showing. Am from Massachusetts and am starting collecting cacti am wondering if you put some cactus inside your house and if you place them inside does this cacti still gonna grow just wondering thank you. Just to let you know am a filipina too .
You know, I find that I love watching unboxing vids. It's like watching Christmas morning.

Truly is. Lots of new plants I’ve never encountered before in this box. 😉 How do you take care of aeriocarpus? Just like a cactus?
Pretty similar, but go easy on the watering for Ariocarpus 👍🏻🌵☀️🌸🏜☕️

I saw the pictures on the internet. It really looks very interesting with those curly leaves. I hope it survives under my care. 🙂🌵☕️
What a wonderful gift. They look so cute all potted up!
Thanks, Eileen! ☕️☕️

I also have the non variegated Haworthia attenuata. Mine has gigantic roots, very thick roots.

Scary Fear light roast is more like coffee-flavored water to me. 🤣☕️

Have you ever tried growing a cactus inside a coffee mug? (with drainage holes obviously)
Hahaha. Not yet. Though that would be fun.
I dont even try to say their names since they are all tongue twisters lol
I prefer to say the common name, too if I know them. 😁LOL!
I think he’s the guy from Arizona
His name is Brian and he lives in the Sonoran desert, Arizona side. 👍🏼 His collection is amazing. Lots of not so common cactus. 🙂

Hahaha. 😄 Happy gardening!
The seeds are meant to say Epitelantha micromeris ☺️
You are correct. I asked him after I filmed that. He said they have the smallest flowers among cactus. 🙂
