This is actually a cover - There is a guy in Russia called Radio Tapok whom has made alot of covers on Sabaton songs in russian, he wrote this song and then Sabaton being cool guys they returned the favour and translated the song, changed a few bits for instanse added russias anthem and made this that you just watched. Awesome song :)
Yes, Germany began the invasion of Russia earlier, but I believe this song is more specifically about Operation 'Typhoon', an it started in early October. I base my guess on the lyrics "All the brave, who stand against the typhoon wave" :)
Oh yeah I know I was specifically talking about that and I was right it actually started 30th of September but it's just a small detail anyway doesn't really change that much

I liked that in this song they showed how both sides struggled. 6:03 around this part where they showed how human the German soldiers were And that it was the leaders they were there. Not everyone wanted to go. But I liked Sabaton song Panzerkampf too!
На самом деле он и не должен был его улавливать, это всё-таки не его гимн, а Наш)) Приятно конечно видеть реакторов, которые понимают, что соло-это гимн СССР (в гимне России поменяли немного только слова, музыку оставили из гимна СССР), но также многие реакторы позже из комментариев узнают, что это был наш гимн и реагируют уже здесь. Все равно реакция классная🤗
