The guitar solo right before the Soviet Anthem part(2:45-3:03 in the MV) gives me really strong Takayoshi Ohmura vibes.
I mean, the national anthem (or at least the stylized version) starts at 2:45 in the original vid, its just not that obvious unless you know it well.
So I watched this before your reaction because I thought "Well he just reacted to this, I don't think he will do it again." This was a stupid thought to have and I should have known better. This is shaping up to be a great day.
Have you seen Radio Tapok's video on this? To paraphrase a certain Star Trek film, "You've never experienced a song about a famous Soviet victory until you've heard it in the original Russian!"

As for the track: Sabaton has an amazing charisma and property, when listening to their tracks in a foreign language you penetrate with patriotism to what they sing about. Despite the general Russophobia, many bloggers noted that they experienced a feeling of patriotism for Russia (USSR) in this video. And this is the merit of Sabaton. Now imagine how I felt after listening to this track!

Actually the Red Army kicked major German ass on one more occasion in the summer of 1943 which was yet another failed invasion of Russia.

yep took them 4 years 1942 and 1943 they were taking back there land by begin of 1944. They were finally pushing into other countries and in winter 1945. they were on the border with germany on april 16 1945 they begin there final offensive on berlin and took it on may 2 1945 .

You may not like Russia and they certainly have had some unpleasant times in their history but overall they are a fiercely brave and patriotic people.
As an aside my Great Uncle founded the Russian Football Federation, their Tennis and Rowing federations and was a member of their Olympic Committee but they still managed to cause his death during the Russian Revolution!

It sounds good an all but I can’t really get along with this song. Perhaps it’s since it’s a song written by someone else in “Sabaton style”. Don’t know what it is but it doesn’t sound quite right. Perhaps the first Sabaton song where I enjoy it while being played, since it has the distinct sound of Sabaton, but I instantly forget it afterwards. That Radio Tapok dude haven’t in my eyes quite got the hang of it yet.
