Fun fact, the writers have confirmed that certain heroes like Wolverine, Blade, X-23, and even Spider-Man can recover from the acts of vampirism. So, I doubt they'll "bite it".

Blade is already a vampire. IDK how vampirism can affect him.
@@infinitygauntlet101 half vampire, born immune to vampire powers and some mystical ones.......even some mutant based powers such as telepathy dont affect him.

They learned from other Undead-esc events such as Marvel zombies that Not only making the Wolverines/Spiderman succumb to Illnesses/diseases their healing factors traditionally have no issue stomping out (Logan and X-23's especially. Although it makes sense for X-23 to fall to it now that her skeleton is full on Adamantium and thus significantly 'weaker') pretty unpopular a move (Marvel zombies accidently struck gold with the Spiderman arc so it gets a pass)
Although after Krakoa made Logan a jobber in terms of his durability, its not that surprising to me that they decided to announce early that he wasn't going to kneel over to the first scratch he got this time because Logan getting scratched and turning would not only spell Game over instantly but it'd be kind of really stupid. Marvel zombies had to take great care to make logan as useless as possible because Nobody and nothing could deal with him.
Blade is already a daywalker, so it makes no sense for him to "catch" a double case of Vampyrism. Hes already half Vampire by blood.

I highly recommend the video game Marvels Midnight Suns if you want to play Blade, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Captain America, Spiderman, etc mixing it up with occult magic and vampire gods.
I've played the first ten hours or so for free and am a bit nervous to invest more time, is the endgame any good?
@@wetsber well the first 5 hours, or so, really feel like a tutorial as you are told where/what to do next.
The story, team simulation, and character powers really do begin to open up more and more throughout the game. You'll be getting famous new marvel characters steadily throughout.
I think by hour 15 you would have been exposed to the gameplay loop.
Honestly I loved the humor throughout the game. They really really nailed the writing for Ironman, Dr Strange, and Spiderman

I like that Marvel is doing something with Blade. I don't like having to track it down over the course of a bajillion different comics.

@Thecharliesruiz Are you referring to Betsy Braddock or the actual Paylocke Kwannon? Betsy was reverted to her original British Caucasian form and now goes as Captain Britain. Kwannon, who is Asian, is back in her own body, the one previously held by Betsy.

The best motion comic I have come across was Vader's by star wars theory. I have watched it three times.

Yeah whenever someone has a movie in the works they make sure to push the character hard, hoping the Arkane blade does him justice (it isnt in line with their usual gameplay, a lot of first person environments, though they have experience with supernatural abilities)

I've been reading Jed MacKay's Dr. Strange book. I had no idea he turned his brother into a vampire. He'll probably be the big villain leading all this.

@@deemura Given the villain in the first Dr. Strange movie was a wizard unable to deal with losing his family, I'm surprised the story wasn't about Stephen losing after his brother died and turned him into a monster.

@@aidcel It is. But Marvel comics moves have been partially dictated by the pacing of the MCU (when it comes to films if it can afford to do so) for a while now.
Civil war 2 was apparently done primarily because there was no Civil war event going on in marvel comics around the release of the film, and Marvel execs wanted to cash in on the association to the film.
Marvel/Disney is trying *very* hard to bring Blade forward to the big screen, and Blade traditionally has a very checkered history when it comes to the comics. Which makes it even more perplexing as to why Marvel is thinking it'd be a good idea to risk an entire saga on blade. Even though its only to cash in on the association to the blade movie being made.
If it ends up good though. Thats fine, theres nothing wrong with it. But the Bloodhunt event is without a doubt just to cash in on the blade movie coming out soon lol. Its just getting people ready for it, and might *wink wink* partially build up into it since theres no TV series/other films to "supplement" the movie.

Marvel really should bring back a Marvel Knights-style animation label, particularly for their more mature story arcs like this one and the big hits like Civil War. DC animation is knocking it out of the park, so the audience and revenue are there. Motion comic films in the style of Astonishing X-Men or Iron Man: Extremis would sell *very* well if voice-acted properly.
