Once again at the helm is director Adam Wingard. The film stars Rebecca Hall (“Godzilla vs. Kong,” “The Night House”), Brian Tyree Henry (“Godzilla vs. Kong,” “Bullet Train”), Dan Stevens (“Gaslit,” “Legion,” “Beauty and the Beast”), Kaylee Hottle (“Godzilla vs. Kong”), Alex Ferns (“The Batman,” “Wrath of Man,” “Chernobyl”) and Fala Chen (“Irma Vep,” “Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings”).
The screenplay is by Terry Rossio (“Godzilla vs. Kong” the “Pirates of the Caribbean” series) and Simon Barrett (“You’re Next”) and Jeremy Slater (“Moon Knight”), from a story by Rossio & Wingard & Barrett, based on the character “Godzilla” owned and created by TOHO Co., Ltd. The film is produced by Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, Eric Mcleod, Thomas Tull and Brian Rogers. The executive producers are Wingard, Jen Conroy, Jay Ashenfelter, Yoshimitsu Banno, Kenji Okuhira.
Once again, Wingard is collaborating with director of photography Ben Seresin (“Godzilla vs. Kong,” “World War Z”), production designer Tom Hammock (“Godzilla vs. Kong,” “X,” “The Guest”), editor Josh Schaeffer (“Godzilla vs. Kong,” “Molly’s Game”), costume designer Emily Seresin (“The Invisible Man,” “Top of the Lake”). The composers are Tom Holkenborg (“Godzilla vs. Kong,” “Mad Max: Fury Road”) and Antonio Di Iorio (additional music on “Godzilla vs. Kong,” the “Sonic the Hedgehog” films).

I just left the movie theater earlier today and I loved Godzilla X Kong The New Empire. It is my favorite movie out of the franchise so far historically.

I will be honest. After watching this, I would say this is by far the best ever collaboration of Godzilla, Kong, and Mothera working together to fight their foes. Trust me, this movie is beyond expectations and good 👍.

Saw this on big screen absolutely loved it.. just as fan of Godzilla I want 2014 godzilla the horror and chills that movie gave me was on another level
And to be honest after watching gxk at home I watched again Godzilla 2014 on my projector and still gave me that horror chills and vibe...😊

I love that Japan has been doing the more tragic and unsettling Godzilla movies, while the US does the monster fight/showdown Godzilla movies. To me, it's not a one vs the other, or is one better than the other, I'm just excited to live in a time when we get both.

Been waited for 3 years and was nearly a week ago when I watched this movie and for the first time IMAX 3D experience.. seeing this monsters on giant screen was literally an amazing experience.. visuals were super stunning.. 360° rotation on particular scenes was giving me an atmost roller coaster ride.. sound effect in IMAX is literally like a buzz bomb🔥 u can actually feel the resonation.. yeah but I would say that storyline of the movie was pretty ok.. mostly they only focused on Kong's plot and hollow earth world where else godzilla was given less screen time.. antagonists like scar king and shimo weren't as strong as main ones so it was an easy fight win for G&K.. mothara's appearance was literally a wow.. but overall I actually enjoyed this one hope they could come up with more different plot and monsters in next one.. just can't wait to watch

Monster movies are just one of those things that no matter how old you get, you still get giddy over seeing giant behemoths duke it out and do crazy roars/power attacks.
Not to mention general chaos, destruction, disasters, big scale things on the big screen
But Godzilla Minus One has proven that this type of movie doesn't have to be dumb as rocks with 6-year-olds as target audience, like this one. 🤷♂🤷♂

Sometimes you just want to shut your brain off and go "Haha monster go brrr" instead of thinking of deeper meanings or the human relationships of the cast. Rocks may be dull, but they can also shine in the best way when used right.
The look of genuine fear on Kongs face when he see’s Shimo just gose to show how intimidating this titan is and the instant frost bite from its breath on Kongs axe is insane.
Now imagine if I had met Ghidorah, I even feel sorry for poor Kong 😰

@rcguitarcovers8614 Ghidorah is able to create storms. That's why it's dark. The new empire, however, is the opposite. It looks too bright, that's why I prefer KOTM and Skull island because they look more real.
