I love that Japan has been doing the more tragic and unsettling Godzilla movies, while the US does the monster fight/showdown Godzilla movies. To me, it's not a one vs the other, or is one better than the other, I'm just excited to live in a time when we get both.
I liked it when Japan did Godzilla movies from dark and serious to silly and goofy. And now Japan did Godzilla with dark and serious (Godzilla: Minus One) and now America is doing silly and goofy like the old Godzilla movies.

When I was little, I would sneak out when I was supposed to be taking a nap (and my mom was) and watching afternoon black and white movies.... and could not wait for the Godzilla movies!

Great movie! This one is going to be hard to top but I’m sure they will find a way. Godzilla and Kong movies just keep getting better. They will probably be making movies about them 100 years from now. They might even be fighting foes on distant planets by then.
1:43 The Skar king may have less muscle mass than Kong but he is a better fighter. Also primates in the really world that have skinny arms have something called “fast twitch muscle fibres” which explains how Gibbons move so fluidly.
He looks like a grappler kind of fighter. Especially since he uses that whip thing as a weapon. I could se him going from behind and twisting the opponents neck before being punched.
What I liked about Godzilla v Kong was that the big fight was in a scene that was easy to read. Lots of light on both characters, instead of a dark, somewhat distant affair in KoM. Looks like they're fighting in Daylight now, so that's even better!
Just worried they don’t end up with a battle scene like in pacific rim 2. Darker background gives a lot of room for cgi mistakes to hide and still feel believable. But who cares….its Godzilla and kong fighting other monsters….gonna be awesome anyways

I truly admire the effort that the fight scenes (cgi) are in clear sunny weather. That's a big plus for me.
I know right? KOTM had a bit of a problem with that, what with Ghidorah being constantly followed by a storm which made it kinda hard to see. Not too much though, I still love that movie.

Great movie! This one is going to be hard to top but I’m sure they will find a way. Godzilla and Kong movies just keep getting better. They will probably be making movies about them 100 years from now. They might even be fighting foes on distant planets by then.

What I liked about Godzilla v Kong was that the big fight was in a scene that was easy to read. Lots of light on both characters, instead of a dark, somewhat distant affair in KoM.
Looks like they're fighting in Daylight now, so that's even better!
Just worried they don’t end up with a battle scene like in pacific rim 2. Darker background gives a lot of room for cgi mistakes to hide and still feel believable. But who cares….its Godzilla and kong fighting other monsters….gonna be awesome anyways
@@abhiverma178 We had enough dark fight scenes in the MV. There shouldn't be cgi mistakes in the first place so day-time fight scenes are always better.
