How to go to bed on time:
>Leave your phone somewhere else
>Take 12 grams of melatonin
>fall into a coma
>repeat until your body builds up a resistance and you need to use horse tranquilizer
lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣
horse tranquilizer 😭
Ohhhh noooo 😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂
This mans uploading this just when I should be going to bed.
XD same
Same
Target audience 😂
Watching this at 1:30am on a Sunday. I still manage to make sure I get up at 7:30am
he really gotta do us like that lol
Uploading this nearly at 12 AM....u got me
Haha here is 2 AM...
12:27am here
2355 here, so ayyy me too, lol
5:27 here
Let's all tell yoj what you want to hear
I need this. I've been struggling to sleep in time for the past 8 months and my health has been deteriorating every since quarantine started. I'm 16. This helps so much. Thank you, Tom.
Lol
Ugh I’m also 16 and feel the same. I’m like so freaking tired and need a change.
Sup I'm also 16 and I'm going to bed really late and waking up really late and I hate it. I want to make a change - even though I'm literally writing this at 11p.m. 😭
And I know it's already doing bad to me, but even worse bc I'm training too
@@abigwhale1043
Same same and same
It’s 2:14 AM
damnit
It’s so hard right?
2.28 am here... We've got this!
the number one thing that helps me get to bed is a good amount of time spent winding down (30-60min). It's good to take care of hygiene during that time
take a warm shower is super helpful too
what do you do to wind down
@@ShemarMooresmores Turn off any of my brighter lights, stop consuming any sort of media, then shower and brush. There's not a whole lot to do, but that's kinda the point, you're supposed to chill out and it facilitates going to sleep faster
@@danielfolwick
My biggest Problem with that is that it is tempting to grab your phone after taking a shower again. Guess I just have to resist it until it's easier.
@@red_dll I have an app called app block it helps
The thing I really need to get over is the "missing out" feeling. That's honestly what keeps me up otherwise I have no issue with going to bed early.
same. I stay up because I want to keep doing things and not sleep.
Can definitely relate. Sometimes I get a rush of energy at night when I should be winding down. Like you said, all about changing the environment to make the good habits easier and the bad habits harder.
I’m fine unless I cross 11:30. If I miss my sleepiness window, I’m up and start with the projects... then it’s really hard to wind down
@@lisettegarcia omd- I have the same issue! Tired at 8pm-10:30pm and extra awake at 1am and later! I can stay up till 6am no problem!
Last time I was this early Thomas still had a buzzcut.
1st step: *Throw your phone out of the window*
2nd step: *jump out of the window after it because everyone knows that you can't survive without it*
Yup that totally worked for me👍

Lord knows he posted this at midnight on purpose.
Wise of you to upload this at 11:52pm. All those who need it will be watching it tonight ~

It's morning where I live 😂
The fact that the b-roll is terrifying is hilarious. Looking forward to seeing it again in my nightmares.
The b roll is iconic 😂
It's very rare to get me to cackle at b roll, but that is what happened
Lolcatsdeamon13 it’s too good I had to pause it for a second 😂
I had to rewatch because I was too focused on the b roll
It's encouraging to know I'm not alone in sleep deprivation. It is critically important that we get it straightened out.
I've got nearly my whole life without a complete 8ish hours of sleep and it's really taken its toll. A toll that's created unnecessary anxiety.
Let's get this fixed! 💪
Did you sort it out??
@@hashmo101 sorted. And feeling much much better mentally and physically. Night and day difference. Anxiety at a normal human level. Exercise and food also has been improved. Everything is markedly better truly.
@@coryhames9331 amazing. Thank you for the update
I'm so glad you're doing an updated "get to bed on time" video! This is one of the biggest things I've struggled with. It's also actually how I found your channel, from the two you did way-back-when. Thanks, man!
What helps me go to bed on time is keeping the same sleep and wake-up time every day, and also reading a book that's not on a screen which helps me fall asleep 😊
Omg the b-roll 😂😂 never heard of the 20-second rule before - really useful advice!
Thanks for making this video! I would go as far as to say that my inconsistent sleep schedule is ruining my life, so your tips will help me tremendously.
Love the reminder and humility, thanks Thomas!
Sleeping early is the most important thing you can do for your life and health 🙌🏼.
Great video, very well done!
Me: 2am *watches How to Actually Go to Bed on Time*
Also Me: 3am *still on RUclips..*
Great video dude! Really useful advise about the 20 second rule. You’ve inspired me to start my own finance and real estate channel. Hopefully I’ll be successful as you 🤞
Good luck man !
We miss you ... Thank you for your absolutely helpful videos.. wish you could more, but no pressure ofc. Hope you are happy and productive as always!
Man the production quality of your videos has come such a long way 😆 in all seriousness I love your videos so much 😂 this is literally what I didnt know I needed tonight
I wonder something Thomas, don't you feel overwhelmed with all this productivity/disciplined life? Because every time I do this, after a while, I feel stressed with the amount of stuff that I'm doing. is there something that keeps you motivated?
Actually i may be able to help you. If you're trying to start multiple habits or have multiple mindsets etc you're essencially going to fail. The reason some people have productive lifes and don't get really stressed, is that they start one habit at a time and by the time it becomes effortless they start a new one. So they only have to worry about one thing and not many, because the rest are effortless.
I hope i helped you 🙃
This is a productivity goldmine! Thank you, Frank :).
Really great idea. I know the focus recently has been on upping the production quality but having so much b-roll, twists and turns at times seems to be more on the entertaining side rather than on the practical one.
That's fine and also challenging, so having this types of videos is actually refreshing. I guess you might need more conferences to attend so Parkinson's Law gives you these opportunities 😂
Right on time lol, I was struggling to put my phone away and turn my tv off 😭. So literally went on RUclips right when u uploaded 😂
Thanks for making this video! I've been missing bedtime for a few days now. Could you make a video about the difference between burnout and procrastination? Sometimes I really can't tell the difference
Good question
New favourite channel! Binge watching your stuff
Back to back great videos
My friends and I really need this (undergrad engineering students) -- thank you!
Thanks for this video!
This is some really good content, Thomas!
This video is so great, I took many notes!
Just what I needed to watch, thanks Tom. Oh and I wish you luck with that speech tomorrow.
I told myself I'd be sleeping early TODAY so I'm so grateful for this timing :3
and another really helpful video, appreciate you!! givin us more than blue light blockers
Some of those video game retrospective videos are genuinely works of creative art, great to watch to improve your own content
What timing, Thomas, just what I needed
Haha I definitely needed this. Thanks a bunch Thomas!
Haha i really needed this video. Thank you Tom 👍
Can definitely agree on what you're saying. It's important to allocate a winding down time and to set a bedtime alarm ⏳⏰
DEFINITELY getting nightmares from that B roll 😂😂😂
Coffee Cram haha, Thomas is slowly devolving into Gollum
i love sleeptown so much!! the circle feature is also great cos it gives a social aspect to it,, you can all contribute to building a world wonder
This video couldn't have come at a better time. Thanks, man
Thanks you so very much!

B Roll was awesome, love it :D
Production on point
Yes i needed this!! Uni is literally happening now and i am contemplating how tfrick i will go to sleep early, to wake up early 😥🤦♀️ thank you so much thomas!!
Thank you
The fact that I am watching this video 1h52 AM proves that I did, in fact, needed to watch it (and go to bed even later than I planned).
3:00
Me sneaking to get food at 3 AM
Watching it at 11 pm and my alarm is set to 5 am. I'm excited.
That B-roll 👌 nailed it!
Perfect timing .... Literally.
The thumbnail already hits right in the feelings 😂
touching myself to your videos
Not the video we deserved, but the one we NEEDED!!
Hi Tom, Could you please do a room house tour because I look at the background and it looks really nice.
So just wondering if you could do that for me. Thanks
I like how you solve your issues step by step
Wow, your videos become better and better! It's really cool - like 👍💫💫
i really need to get to bed at night. Im so productive when i wake up at 5am and I truly love doing that. But getting to sleep is HARD!
I just woke up and see this video! Perfect timing. Oh btw I went to sleep at 8pm :) But I'm subbed so I watch
You uploaded this right when I was about to go to bed😂
edgar wright is a great director and i was embarrassingly thrilled to hear hes your favourite too. cheers.
0:31 This fits with my biggest difficulty: i struggle to switch tasks cause i want to keep doing infinitely, if i could i would finish a 6 month project in a day. I delay the start -many times because of this - but once i do i don't want to stop.
So work-life balance? Yeah, we don't do that here. I need to improve my ability of doing stuff only for a set amount of time, letting go and not feeling guilty about it. It's pretty hard not to work until you pass out when you have time and are desperate for results.
Right on time.
Woke up this morning and I saw this video in my subscription tab 😂
Good vid! Thnks
Hey frank Could you make a video on how to manage your sleeping schedule when you have parties on the weekends like tips or things you can do to not mess up so much your habits when you wanna party once a week
I love the forest app but I had no clue they had a sleep one! The main issue is that when I first started university I would go to bed at 10-10:30 every night ... then my boyfriend started working as a pizza delivery driver so sometimes he gets home at 3am. So now I'm nearly gradutating but my usual bed time is 2am. It's really adding to my depression and lack of productivity but then I feel bad if I go to bed and don't see him for days because we are so busy. Poverty life sucks, it's going to be a slow process to claw my way to a better life with a sane sleep schedule.
Love the new hairstyle!
I need more of this B-roll. I laughed so hard every time idk why 😂🤣
Good *timing* bro.
It's nine fitee tree right now, perfect time to post this thank you!
"Even if it finishes at 12:30 PM"

That was reeeeally good
It was 2AM in Brazil, i really need this video!
2am for me right now hope i can stop this addiction
The subject of this video was really one of the most difficult point for me over the past few month
Well thank you RUclips algorithm. It‘s currently 10:22 pm and this video was recommended to me. Perfect timing🥰
Ironically, the notification about this video popped-up at 6 AM (I`m in Europe), right when I was going to bed
He knows us too well. .
you deserve like 8.23M more subs my dude
Seeing this at bed before sleep. Gooooooood.
Everything is a pattern, we are a pattern that we have the capacity to change through our thoughts, habits, and environment. That pattern determines our life success.
We keep our phones in the living room with charger units. I find that if I stay away from checking my phone/computer feeds at night before bed I have a better sleep. Also, I found that if I stay away from my phone first thing in the morning while getting ready for the day, I get a lot more accomplished quickly & my day isn't "chewed up" before it gets started. However, there are time when I do "break" my own "rules" & regret it later.
come on man! you posted this exactly at my bed time lol
Just seen your speech in Meninfluencial love it
Cam at the exact time I needed it XD
Best. Thomas Frank. B-roll. EVER.
The b-roll absolutely killed me omfg
