I literally adore all pilots😍🥰....They have such a huge responsibility of making sure we get to our destinations safely!!...I hate the fact that theyre under rated and dont get the recoginition they deserve🥲....God bless all pilots and many safe flights🙏🙏🙏....I appreciate you always❤❤....This plane is beautiful and that crew was amazing and knowledgeable🫡🛩👨✈️
Good to see a return of the series
I have flown KLM's B777-200ER as well as their B787-9. Both of them are extremely good & I observed how the entire cockpit crew follows this well known sustainable practice. KLM is truely a great airline in terms of both service and passenger comfort.
Not really, Air France is miles better specially on long haul
@@user-yh8wp2ic6o Oh yeah Air France is a good airline as well. But I have mixed opinions with them so far. Like I have flown their A350 and I liked their cabin a lot and for which the crew loved working on it. But however when I flew their B777-300ER, it was too old and outdated and had zero comfort level for a 11 hr flight. Some of their B777 are refurbished while some of them still feature old cabins & same applies to their A330s as well Also sometimes the crew on Air France is extremely friendly, but sometimes they turn out to be rude. KLM & Delta on the other hand keep refurbishing their cabin interiors, thus making it easier for long haul cabins and haven't had issues with them flying long haul.

This is a great initiative and a fantastic video, thanks for sharing KLM! I am wondering though, is it really a fair comparison because I imagine the flight that this was compared to did not have the same take off weight based on passengers, cargo/bags, catering etc.

Can you elaborate more on the 46% emissions saved by SAF? Was 50% SAF used for the flight, and therefore the emissions declined by 46%, or did you fill up another plane with also 50% SAF and add it to this flight? I am just wondering if you are calculating with a decline of 92% (46/50) or 46% (46/100) in carbon emissions for SAF.

5:40 - I think the scale for the flight levels should be x100 instead of x1000
So the CO2 savings are just for the part of the fuel that is actually SAF, not on the whole fuel usage, right?

What does "you may roll" after the landing clearance mean?
I think it has to do with clearance to use the entire runway. You can see them turning off the auto brake and only using idle reverse and then vacating at the absolute end of the runway. So I think it was ATC telling them 'you can use the entire runway, nobody behind you'

5:46 x1000 feet is incorrect, we don’t fly at 430.000 feet ;)
You could say that and I agree with you, but, all Flight Levels (FLs) are usually followed with the first two digits of the altitude and then a zero is added there instead. So, 43,000 feet is essentially ‘FL430’. It’s not accurate mathematically to mention it like this (like x1,000) but, it’s common practice to pronounce it like that.

Out of interest did flow control give your flight priority. How realistic was your flight for everyday aviation? Flying into JFK or LHR, you are unlikely to get such cooperating controllers/

Deze mensen gooien hun cost index op 3 en nemen een camera crew mee op te vertellen hoe groen ze wel niet bezig zijn. Hoeveel procent sustainable fuel gebruikte jullie tijdens de vlucht? daar is namelijk een wettelijk minimum voor, lijkt me sterk dat jullie daar boven zitten. En verder elke liter brandstof die ze minder verbanden is gewoon een kostenkwestie. Belangrijk voor klm is vooral dat mensen denken dat ze groen bezig zijn.

Only innovation and new technology can improve those emissions. Many of us contribute, many of us are working really hard on this. Unfortunately the ‘climate-protestors’ will not rest until flying is no longer allowed. Until we all eat insects and until we all stop driving our cars. Heads off to these initiatives but remember, for ‘them’ it will never be enough! They have all been brainwashed.

My God this is such a BS.... shameless PR! KLM once the pride of aviation, the oldest aviation still operational company in the world. Is now an identity-less mediocre shareholder-run company driven entirely by political ideologies, it's just pathetic! Recently this sad management of KLM announced to hoist its staff in the rainbow colors, it couldn't get more pathetic after the lie of being sustainable.
How long does it take to get a refund? I have been waiting for a refund since January 2023 and all I got from your (let's call it like this) customer service has been lies, fraudulent data, and deceiving information.
When I asked for the phone number or contact of a supervisor, they told me they couldn't do anything even though I had requested this in formal terms (the same way KLM has requested my bank statements and data which they received promptly).
When I asked them to send me a bank statement as proof that the refund had been done, they told me they couldn't do that.
For over 10 months I have been in contact with KLM customer service (it is better to be called KLM NOTcustomer service) with Enmanuelle, Ben, Felix, Emanuelle, and Andras.
The last thing your NOTcustomer service did, was say that the refund has been already approved (I know this) and done (this is a complete lie). When I asked them to send me info to which bank they made a payment, they sent me a made-up IBAN and some ARN number which is not applicable anywhere.
Can you please tell me who I have to contact to get a refund which I have been waiting for more than 10 months?
