It's not a passion fruit. The seeds actually have similar taste to passion fruit. But the main part is the body not the seeds.
Mild bordering bland. I remember eating the meat more than the seeds and adding condensed milk to make it a dessert
As someone who loves sour stuff, one time I ate a whole 6 galloon basket worth of passion fruit and later I got diarrhea for 2weeks

It's known as barbadine here in trinidad..we add milk and make it into ice cream or delicious punch

Sorry, dude, but, in Brazil, we have about 150 types of Passion Fruit. This why the reason that this fruit is from Brazil. One of inumerous fruits that are native from Brazil ^^

Bro this is my hometown in Vietnam right where my house is too. I was just scrolling on some random shots and suddenly see what is basically my front yard lol
Not sure if it’s the same plant we have on our island. The flesh is also edible and tastes like honey dew. One of my favorite fruits not a lot of ppl grow it you can find it in the forest.

I planted this in my yard a couple of months ago. Is the rind toxic or can you technically eat it?
To answer my own question, according to online sources the rind is indeed edible when cooked as a vegetable. There are even traditional recipes for it on RUclips.
The rind has a sorta glasslike texture thats why ppl dont often eat it, but if u process it enough maybe itll be edible??

In my place🇭🇹 we make 2 different kind of drink with it we mix the fleshy part with whole milk and condensed milk with the seeds coz it taste just like passion fruit and it's very sour we only add water and sugar for a fresh juice

They grow in veins. We have one in our garden. We cook that white part and make a drink out of the flesh. But, be careful if you have acid reflux 💀
