I want xidas or ohlins with the enkei rpf1s im getting but they’re just so expensive. Probably gonna go with BC, silver neomax, or tein flex. Not sure which one yet.
I thought about going for air recirculation so that the blow-off valve isn't quite as loud, but decided that I liked the sounds she makes, even if they're a little extra. 😉

i hope to follow the same sorta path Cory's been taking; get through college (as i assume he did from the UMich sticker, based), build a car with any funds i get, and get accepted into bigger SCCA/GL events later on. this miata's absolutely mental
That's more or less exactly what I did; I actually started doing track days in the Mustang I bought using my internship money while I was still in college. But the Miata ended up being so much fun, I sold the Mustang!

from the cockpit view I can see why the owner can fit in miata with decent headroom, most of the height difference between the topher and him is in the legs, holy
Yeah, a lot of people are always amazed when I climb out of it; "you fit in that car"?! Well, the seat is practically welded straight to the floor, and I COULD still go lower with a floor pan drop...

@@jusvibin2190 I could reach 100 on the back straight of Mid-Ohio in the tired old 1.6. Now I have a bored out 1.8 with a turbocharger and 17psi boost. She gets up to 120 *shockingly* fast.

For the win n I really dig shift light I might need to set one in mine as I thinking of doing springs n retainers finally after doing every other engine mod besides cams n springs I wanna see how it feel at 8600 rpm as 70lb dbl springs say u can do 9k but I run 30psi so I not pushing that hard .. Man I really do like how you got yours set up .. I went the rat rod route to be a clown on ppl but i deff appreciate a proper build bro .. Much respect peace n love bro keep it rad stay safe and build on ... L8z FAM
Correct. I went with a very conservative tune, and the GT2560R isn't THAT big of a turbo. I don't want to blow up another motor - I've already had enough Bad Experiences. If I could do it all over again, I'd go with a Borg-Warner turbo and a Kraken kit, but I'm stuck with the FM kit and am doing the most of what I'm comfortable with.

YUP. But the fun plot twist is I had issues BEFORE I swapped to a MS; I think something was weird with the battery. On top of everything else.
