Hi I'm looking for a video that not just says what bookkeepers do but shows it. For example I keep hearing people say reconcile account, profits and losses, categorizing etc but to show an actual example of how to do all of that. Does that make sense? Can someone link me to a video like that? I can't seem to find one.

I read an interesting article talking about why bookkeeper numbers are statistically going down. AI is a factor, but this was saying the biggest contributor of declining numbers was that the largest demographic who do bookkeeping are baby boomers, who are starting to retire. Also, a lot of those numbers are related to industry bookkeepers rather than independent small businesses. Large companies may ax there bookkeeping staff as tech gets better, but the small mom and pop shop will always need to consider outsourcing their financial management to some level. Take this with a grain of salt of course, but I think there may be something of an opportunity here for independent bookkeepers. Plus, it is a great launching platform, with the right schooling and certifications, to accounting, financial coaching, financial advisor, insurance agent, or other finance related service businesses.
I have an associate degree in business accounting and some experience as a bookkeeper/office assistant. Should I do qbo pro advisor before starting your course for starting a business in 30 days? I am finally going to start my bookkeeping business at age 49. This is something I have wanted to do for 20 years just didn't realize it was possible before. Thought about trying bookkeeper launch but it is too expensive. My biggest problem is not knowing how to start a business or get clients
Hey! Morgan's course, Bookkeeper Business Coach, will be a great option for you to get your bookkeeping business started. Morgan does recommend taking the QBO ProAdvisor certification, but you don't need it completed before taking Morgan's course. You could even work through them at the same time if you wanted. But bill hasn't uploaded any you tube videos for over 2 months. 😣 and he Said his Bookkeeping course was going to be tripled in cost. I'm curious abut that. I love this channel. I've been watching for a year now. THANK YOU I also bought the same Asus 17 laptop and love it. The screen is nice and big.

Hi! Use the accountant version: QuickBooks Online Accountant. It is free for you and then you can see all of your clients listed. You need to pay for a separate fee for each client (either you can pay or you can pass on the cost to clients). Search my channel for a couple vids that explain this in detail. :)
