Do you offer monthly meetings with the client to go through their reports and provide advice, and how would you manage this with say 50 - 100 clients.
We do not, for that very reason. It is not sustainable or scalable. The advisory model works best with a small number of clients who are willing to pay a premium for your advice.

The client has to connect to the bank accounts. You can talk them through it via a Zoom call.

You mentioned wanting to help other bookkeepers learn because of the clients who had suffered under incompetent bookkeeepers. What were the biggest mistakes you saw, and how do you make sure to avoid them?
I have seen too many to list them. Some of them included forcing bank reconciliations to balance, not handling e-commerce transactions correctly, miscategorized transactions, and more.

Yes, you can still do it Christina.. don't let age hinder you from doing things you like. Remember, our mind and brain is very powerful you can still learn this its not too late as long as you put effort to it

Hi Veronica, I'm from South Africa. I'm just starting out as a virtual Bookkeeper after a career that spans more than 4 decades in the field, and my husband leaving me destitute. I qualified through the ICB in 1983, but sadly technology has overtaken me completely. I just enrolled in a QBO course through Udemy which I'm now wrapping my head around. Any help / assistance that you will be able to give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
