Wow! This is everything I needed. I downloaded your toolbox and it was absolutely EVERYTHING I needed to really understand my systems and processes for my virtual bookkeeping. You are a lifesaver! Your content is so so valuable!
Thank you for your request. Unfortunately, that would be extremely time consuming and would greatly depend on the app that you use for A/R and A/P. Take a look at resources from Bill.com and Melio.
Very helpful, but more info on specific services would be great. For instance, how does Dext beat QB's receipt capture? I assume the gains must be meaningful to be worth adding a layer of complexity. And is Hubdoc only really used for clients that use Xero instead of QB? Etc. Very helpful channel, thank you!
If you're using QBO, you can work virtually with clients. If you need to enter manual transactions, you would need to get documents or information from your client to be able to enter invoices. For customer payments, you may be able to view images of deposits on your client's bank, but if that is not available, your client would need to provide you with that information.
thanks Veronica. Very helpful. I've moved from a paper business to increasingly virtual, and you bring up a few points that help me systemize everything! thank you! by the way, do you use an app for workflow management?
You're welcome, Lisa. I highly recommend Keeper.app for client workflow management. Tell them that I referred you and you'll get a discount. I also like Asana for managing internal projects.
Yes, my team uses Keeper now. We use it to manage the monthly bookkeeping cycle. All monthly bookkeeping tasks are now in Keeper (we used to track them in Asana).
Hy thanks for your contribution I am in freelance field for a long time but cannot get any client I am thinking to start learning bookkeeping by QuickBooks Please guide me honesty how can I get bookkeeping clients and will I get clients or not , should I start learning it or just time waste....
Ameer, if you're going to provide bookkeeping services, you have to learn: 1 - bookkeeping 2 - QuickBooks Online and apps 3 - Marketing, sales, and pricing services 4 - Managing client operations 5 - Working virtually with clients It's all dependent on whether you're willing to put in the work. Also keep in mind that the bookkeeping field requires you to continue learning.

Thanks a lot for the info.
Will you please make a video on how to do accounts payable/receivable virtually as a bookkeeper.
Thank you for your request. Unfortunately, that would be extremely time consuming and would greatly depend on the app that you use for A/R and A/P.

Dext is a paid product with robust functionality. QBO receipt capture has minimal functionality.
You can use Hubdoc with QBO also.
I have a question... In records section how to record manual transection 'invoice, customer payments ...etc' virtual?

@@5MinuteBookkeeping thanks so much Veronica :)
I can do it every thing, just I need learning to online
It's great that you know how to do things manually. Once you start working virtually with clients, you'll see how it will save you time.
Great video. Do you use Keeper now? If so, how does it fit in, or what does it replace? Thanks!
Yes, my team uses Keeper now. We use it to manage the monthly bookkeeping cycle. All monthly bookkeeping tasks are now in Keeper (we used to track them in Asana).
Have you done one yet on tax strategies for virtual Bookkeepers?
Hi. I don't provide tax services and don't teach tax strategies for bookkeepers.
I know manual everything
I believe I answered your other comment. Yes, there is a learning curve to transition from doing things manually to working virtually with clients.
Please cover how you work with crypto currency transactions. Thank you!!
Hi Tatiana, I don't work with crypto currency transactions.
