I think it's kinda funny how the extent of information we have on dark matter still, after 88 years since it was first proposed, ends at "it exists, and it does stuff".
Dark matter is really just a vague thing to describe why cosmic structures organize themselves and form the way they do. Dark Energy is merely a constant of the universal expansion. Both of these things don't actually describe anything and exist in lack of a better term. Anyone who is treating Dark Matter like particles that have their own properties, and, god forbid, is living, is making a MASSIVE reach. Something is unexplained, but we don't know what. It could be that something's wrong with General Relativity, but it's been exceedingly difficult to find a mathematical model that fits everything. There's a incoherence between how objects operate at a small scale and how they operate at a giga scale. So, dark matter is this "thing" that fills in the gaps and there's a good chance we will never actually have an answer. There could be something outside our universe, which our universe is contained in and is intertwined with (like, it must exist somehwere, right? Or not?) that we won't have the ability to ever explain without knowing what those outside variables are. But in any case, dark matter doesn't definitely "exist" in the traditional sense, as in, it might not be composed of particles at all. Underwhelmingly, it might merely be the presence of an error in our models and understanding. It's literally just a something but nothing constant physicists have to apply for certain phenomena to only kind of make sense. It reflects the deep rut that modern physics is in, in that no one has a good explanation for what we're actually observing and have been wrong about in our predictions under existant models.

She is starting secondary school in a few days and is dead set on becoming a scientist in this field and has been since she was 6 or 7 years old and one thing she absolutely looks forward to is the next 'melodysheep' space video... asking me on quite a regular basis 'when is the next one coming out?''
You do a fantastic jobs with these videos and I hope you continue with your releases for as long as you can, thank you melodysheep :)
Honestly, this is one of the BEST channels on RUclips. It's saddening how long it takes for some of the videos to get the views they deserve!
Stunning, great job... As Always, by the way
A new Melody Sheep! What a treat! TYSM :-)
I am a Japanese who loves your videos! I have one request! If possible, please release a Japanese dubbed version of your videos! I am looking forward to your videos!
John the legendary melodysheep has posted again
The worst thing about melodysheep's content is that it has to end. Absolutely beautiful stuff.
The perfect sync of the music and cgi always blows my mind! 🔥♠️
I always love when melodysheep post, it's what keeps me curious about space
This channel never misses!
Some comments are not only offensive, but, also quite rude. MelodySheep not only show us some of the mysteries of the universes with amazing images, he comments everythings well and understandably for everyone. His videos are unique, intelligent, cololrful, in short; melodySheep is one of the best in this field. And what not everyone can do; he leaves questions open and tries not to put himself in the foreground...MelodySheep deserve respect and not criticism from ignorant people....
These videos were an awakening. The visuals feel so inspiring, every frame feels like eye candy. I wish to be a politician to one day progress us enough to see these wonders, if not in my lifetime.
I wanted to see another of your wonderful videos, Melodysheep, and you never disappoint me, greetings
Melodysheep is always next level no matter what. Please never stop making these videos.
How long does it take you to compose the music for these? You crushed it at 5:03 🎶🖤
Appreciating every time one of these come out
