As an archeologist, I find the design of the flag to be incredibly beautiful and fitting. Throughout history, cave paintings often feature handprints that serve as a testament to our ancestors' existence. In a similar sense , the placement of the flag on distant planets or moons can be seen as a message to the universe, a declaration that we were here and left our mark on the cosmos.

I appreciate the video. For a small improvement I would like to make a suggestion. Use kph or mph rather than some multiple of the speed of sound as the speed of sound is variable. For instance on earth at sea level at 70 degrees Fahrenheit sound will travel at one speed versus at another temperature or perhaps under water. So I don't know the speed of sound on the planet you are talking about to have a clear reference of the wind speed. Than you for your research and entertaining video.

I think of it more as the universe is it's own giant scale. But just because we don't matter to it, doesn't mean our local problems matter at all, far from.
The friends and family you love and care about are just as important as always. The co-worker you may dislike, the enemies you make can still hurt you. Everything still has consequenses, both good and bad ones. Even if everything that happenes, all happened on a blue speck of dust hurtling trough space.

Factual information is very extraordinary, especially when discovering something interesting, but sometimes the factual information doesn't appeal to the average viewer and they don't appreciate the realism or the data as much as a scientist would. We're talking about entertainment, not factual information that never deviates from realism. It's literally making the sky a personal entity with wants. Of course it wouldn't be factual.

Man, this video ended too soon. I could have easily kept watching this for hours. Space is fascinating to me. Just, in general. The idea that there's so many planets and suns, the fact that each planet is different. And there's no doubt in my mind that there's TONS of other planets out there with intelligent life on them. But, as fascinated as I am, it makes me sad that I'll never actually go to space. Never get to see any of these planets for myself. Never walk on anything other than Earth. I'd give literally anything to just stand on another planet for a few minutes.

The symbolism of that flag is too beautiful. It reminds me of the early artwork our ancestors did in the caves. Symbolizes the start of our human existence on Earth and then bringing that symbol along with us to the cosmos. So damn poetic, i hope one day when we start to reach the cosmos that we start using that symbol.

The work you do is that of a luminary. Every time I see a new planet, a new sunset, a new view into what is out there, I'm absolutely blown away. The amount that I wish I could see these places in my lifetime is immeasurable, but thank you for reminding me that our descendants may hopefully get to visit and experience the majesty of these far off lands one day. Your videos continue to kindle my passion of learning about the beautiful spectacle that is our universe, but they also remind me how lucky I am to be able to look up every single night and gaze at the moons, stars, and planets that may eventually be home. For these reasons I am infinitely grateful for the work you do, and I hope you continue to amaze.

Of all the fucking things we could fund, this should be about one thousand times higher up on our common Human list. Fuck Qatar, fuck balls, fuck! We need visionaries, we need hope, we need wonder, we need a goal, a next step, before we drop into absolute insanity. Humanity is like a dog that never gets to go outside, we are tearing up the furniture and pissing everywhere because we have a drive, a need, a fundamental impetus in our souls and hearts and minds to go out there and explore, watch, see, smell, touch and enjoy, forever longing to know what lies beyond the next hill.
We can't stay in this pressure cooker for too much longer, because it is going to explode, and then all the beauty and all the wonder will be gone forever, forever and ever. Humanity can do better than this.
