I found a great hack with hanging things on the wall that need to be aligned perfectly. Use some masking tape and place it on the back of the item your hanging use a marker and dot the holes, take the masking tape off the item and place it on the wall you want the item and screw the hole on the tape and once done pull tape off and it should be perfectly aligned to the item you wanted to hang. It saved me a lot of time. I hope that made sense 😊 Love watching your vlogs. I’m from Australia and enjoy seeing how different things are in America compared to Australia. Your apartment looks great. ❤

Inspiring me to actually organize/redecorate my home!
So here's a hack for u all...when I was a single parent I found myself moving about every 2 yrs everytine because they'd raise the rent on me and with 3 children to raise on my own it was challenging to say the least. Anywho, instead of removing every piece of clothing from the hanger I would grab a handful of clothing items from the closet with the hanger, put a rubber band on th3 hooks to hold it together. I would cut out a hole in the center of the bottom of a 13 gallon trash bag and I'd put it over the clothing to protect the clothes from getting dirty. I would do that to all of our clothes. That way once we got to our new place we would simply hang it up. Hope this helps someone 😊
Yup, I was going to do that, but I have so many clothes that I quickly realized it was going to take up a lot more space, be a lot heavier, and waste soooooooo many trash bags. So I took everything off and just shoved it in the bags, so I could reuse them. I was going to be reorganizing the new closet anyway, so I didn’t mind. But I think that’s a great method with less clothes lol
@styledbysamvay thats true! Without the holes in the bags u can definitely reuse them. Well, u did a fantastic job. I always enjoy watching ur videos. BTW just have to compliment u on ur hair. It looks so nice! Even when freshly washed. The length and the curls look so beautiful. But I know I know...u have naturally curly hair and u don't like it. I have straightish hair and I don't like it lol so I wish I had ur curls. I recently gave my 20 yr old son a perm because he has super straight and fine hair and he hates how flat it looks. He puts on a lot of product hoping he'll get volume and it'll last him all day. So we tried a perm and he loves the body and volume he has. I'm seriously considering getting one now 🤔🤭🥰

It’s like a giant bug, with the little brushes that wiggle around as they move. I hate watching it hahaha but it works great and saves me a lot of time!

A hack for hanging up stuff where the holes have to match perfectly, put some painters tape on the back of the item, mark where the holes are, then put the tape on the wall and drill in your screws. Remove the tape and your screws are exactly where they need to be! And you can make sure they’re straight too 😊
my dog sheds like that too! I think the robo vacuum is a good idea
A great trick that I’ve been doing when hanging stuff on my walls is I take some scotch tape and run it along the length of the screw holes, then I make a little mark where the holes are and then place it on the wall so that way I know exactly where I need to drill or nail. Works like a charm!😊

Use the tape hack. Place tape across the back of what you’re hanging, mark the spots, take off the tape, tape it on the wall, make sure it’s level and use the marks to drill through the tape into the wall.
Hi Sam! Love the new place! A trick I learned about hanging things that are tricky like that is put a piece of painters tape on the shelf from one hole to the other, mark the holes with a pen or pencil and then put the tape on the wall and the holes will be ready to drill in the exact spot!

I use a tape technique when hanging things on walls. You take painters tape and place it on the back of the item you want to hang, mark where the holes are on the tape, remove the tape from the item and then place the tape on the wall and drill the holes where the marks are. Comes out perfect the first time every time. Check out how to videos to get a better idea. I'm more of a visual learner. You can tell me how to do something until you're blue in the face but when I see it, I get it. Hope that helps. ❤

Thank you! Right now, the only thing I take on a daily basis is magnesium before bed. It helps me sleep, helps with muscle soreness, stress, and a bunch of other things. You can google all the benefits of magnesium :)

Omg Sam, I had the exact same thing happen to me the other night with the same toe! I woke up at 12:30 am and it hurt so bad! I’ve never had an ingrown nail but that’s I think what it was. I started filing and clipping it down and it was just awful! It’s still sore but better. Not a fan of that at all. Lol
So painful :( I hope it gets 100% better soon! Mine is back to normal now.

iPhones have levellers in every phone. Measure app. They aren't the best but they are good if you need one to hang something in a pinch

Be careful when you certain items at Dollar Tree like toothpaste, deodorant and mouthwash. Most of the time it's a fake. All love
Same no no NO. I wanted to cry when you took the clothes off the hangers. The trick to that is to take 10-15 hangers in a cluster, wrap them in rubber bands and put the trash bags over them, THEN number do you can keep in order. Then put in the closet
I know, I know. I attempted that at first, but it was taking up SO much more space and using up soooooo many more trashbags, and also putting holes in the trashbags, so I couldn't reuse them. Plus, I wanted to reorganize and change out some of my hangers anyway, so I would have ended up taking a lot of clothes off the hangers regardless.

I hope you are there a long time living the best life where your friends are. moving is exciting. I moved 3 times with my roommate/bestie. we liked the first one best which was a rancher. that was the one that only had a fireplace.

Moving hack: keep your clothes on the hangers, place a bag over them, hang them tight up when you get to the new place.
Waste of garbage bags though! And takes up too much space in the car. This was actually a lot easier for me because of the amount of clothes I have.

Put toothpaste on the holes for the piece you're hanging the press against the wall. Sit the piece down and then drill where the toothpaste is.
Or take painters tape and mark the tape where the holes are and then place the tape on the wall and drill where the marks are on the tape.😮
