Something else to note here. These vehicles don't seem to ,"like" xenon bulbs. They keep burning out. I went back to the regular Sylvania Silver star and so far so good.
Thxs for video, have problem. Left side bulb will NOT come out!! Did quarter turn counter clockwise....it turns...but will not slip off!! What can I do??
Strange. No idea why it wouldn't come out. I would try grabbing the back of it with the wire off off of course with a pair of pliers and try to get some more force on it to get that extra movement it needs. Must be stuck somehow. Good luck!
Do you know why I changed my headlight bulb, but it still won’t turn on? I checked the fuse and it’s all good, just the headlight won’t turn on, but everything else does except the high beam also
The specific bulb in this video is the low beam. If your low and high beam aren't working possibly the assembly or the wiring on the plug. Good luck and thanks for watching!
Not too much. If you get the regular Sylvania Silver star it's like $20 ea. They aren't cheap. I would not buy the expensive xenon bulbs. They don't do well in the Durango. Burn out fast.
I tried some more expensive bulbs. Xenon bulbs at advance auto and they only lasted a month as well. Standard Sylvania Silver star is what is working for me.
Yeah the local Chrysler garage did the same thing to my pap. Found this video, and it literally took 3 minutes max. They lied to him about needing to take the entire front apart (bumper, etc)
This was perfect! It took longer to drive around the corner and get the bulb than it did to change it. Thank you for posting!

Thanks for this. Very helpful. Yeah turn signals are easier from the top. I was surprised to see that my wife’s Durango GT had HIDs. $130 piece.

Can’t you get the turn signal from that access point t
That's a great question. I can't remember but I think so. I know, that answer sucked. 😊
The turn single is easier from the top of the hood the connection to that is exposed and not covered with the lid
Thank you!!!
Very welcome!!
Any clue why my passenger side headlight keeps going out ? I replaced it which cost 100$ something not even a month ago and it’s out again
What kind of bulbs are you buying? The standard Sylvania or what? Are you wearing gloves?
