Damn the obsessed garage guy would have a stroke if he saw how I handle my cars/garage/life lol
,
I really don't like obsessed garage. Dude really seems pretentious and stuck up.
As a trucker stuck at job site, I'm grateful for these stories. Thank you!
I think Larry from Ammo could have a couple of juicy detailing stories
Good idea!
I tried to connect Larry and Ed a couple years ago but it didn’t take.
that would be such a good story:/
@@thomasmagda4580 it might now, I've talked to Larry a couple of times. Great guy. Although, he works for some really high end people so he probably can't tell a lot of stuff.
What the hell is that first story?
"I had a bunch of people come detail my car for me. Leading up to it I didn't feel like having all these people around, but after my cars were detailed while I sat around barking orders and eating tostitos, I thought 'why don't I do this more often?' It was a great experience and I came away not feeling like I owed those guys anything"
What?
Glad someone else caught that. Yeah, those are your "lifelong buddies" because they got scammed into detailing a fancy car and the dude's personal truck for free. Oooh, what an amazing "experience". 🙄
Obsessed garage: "do I spend my entire afternoon to wash the car again... or do I torture myself for 1 week because it has bugs on the front."
My truck who hasn't been washed in a entire year, and the last time it was washed was with a automatic wash: 👁👄👁
Today from 9-11 Pacific we will be Las Vegas Harley Davidson for the launch of goldRush! Come say hello and follow @edbolian and @arnesantics on Instagram to see updates from Team ModFind!
32:36 This gentleman is the epitome of OCD! OML, I thought I was bad, but this guy is the ultimate example of someone with severe OCD! 😁👍✌
I was looking for this comment. It’s actually kinda concerning how neurotic and anal and just the overwhelming anxiety he displays. I’m a car guy too but for Christs sake it’s just a damn car imagine how this must affect his family and friends it seems debilitating honestly
@@vcall6121 He made it to the interview, so? 😁Hopefully, his OCD is all about the cars, and not about everything in general. If he's this undecided in everything he does, OML! I had a friend like this, still do, but haven't seen him in awhile. 🤣👍✌
Mental illness fr
5 minutes of driving a car in the sand and salt of a New England winter would give him a massive brain bleed.
@@ateamfan42 I'd love to see that! 🤣
Holy shit the GT3 RS guy is perhaps the most infuriatingly whiney person I've ever heard on here.
My funniest detail story. When i was working at a small used car lot, My boss asked me to clean up his car, he was gonna take his wife out on a date that night. So i was cleaning up the car and when i hit the glove box, i found a lil container with white powder. I was just like SMH, i stumbled into my boss's office with that in hand. I said "next time you ask me to clean your car, atleast move your drugs out first xD" handed him his shit and got back to work
34:20 This man is out of his mind, the bullshit he said actually got me mad
Same, TBH. Disrespectful to his car. Hope he doesn't talk to his wife like that.
Never thought I had anxiety until I listen to the story about the guy who's OCD with the white Porsche.
I think every detail oriented guy can relate to Matt!! He’s like x10 obsessed more than everyone else but that’s why we all appreciate him lol
Todd Cooperider, I know exactly how this man felt. I've been dealing with a massively ruptured disc for over 9 years including sciatica. He describes it better than I can
Obsessed Garage makes me so upset. To each their own but "god I hope the previous owner didn't go to red line" is stupid!
Looking at the finished product after detailing a car must be extremely gratifying
Back in 2011, I worked at a Porsche dealership in New Jersey that also serviced Mercedes. When snow was coming we had to go out and pull in as many cars to make room for the plows. I learned that an SLR McLaren with summer tires doesn't move too well on a snow-covered parking lot. It took 10 other techs pushing for it to go into the shop
Car cleaner Porsche GT3 guy- Sounds worse than prison, and more expensive.
I love VINwiki. But it says car detailing stories. Which to they really do not all seem to be that way. I still love the show and the cars. Maybe it was just me.
Note I did work at a body shop as a mechanic, but if I was not doing anything special I did have to detail cars, or at least, I would, if not busy with the cars that where fresh out of the body shop area, after we did the mechanical work and sometimes put the body pieces back together. Also we where never allowed to let a car out with a paint defect. The body man looked at it, the painter looked at it, the mechanics looked at it.... Then finally the "Owner" of the shop looked at it. No matter how many times the owner looked at it, we all took part in making sure the car came out perfect, if anyone missed something you would definitely hear about it... Our idea was the more different people that looked at it the better it turned out...
Lol plus if someone missed something they had to buy the drinks for the night. Of course the owner very rarely had to buy the drinks.... But I did catch him slipping a couple of times.
I love VINwiki, I have a 96 C4 and really want to PPF. Things are so tight this year I haven't got a chance to get it out of storage! Ill keep working my face off and hope for the best until then plenty of great car stories while I grind it out.
"Obsessive compulsive disorder guy tells a story"
The guy with the white Porsche gives me anxiety.
Fridays are John Ficarra story time! Great video though!
I just used the Glossit kit on my new Mazda CX-9 Carbon Edition, and it's fantastic stuff. First time ever applying a ceramic coating, and it was so easy and flawless. I love detailing, am considering opening my own business, and maybe I'll be featured one day in a VinWiki detailing story video.
No offence but applying a diy at home detail kit specifically made to be easy to apply for the consumer who has little to no experience to be able to use.. most definitely doesn’t qualify you to open a serial shop.. you have to understand paint depth pad material usage wet sanding essentially all the things painters besides apply the paint.. if you want to do that then trust me go on some professional courses first save the liability of messing expensive vehicles up
@Finn thanks for the input, but my dad used to detail professionally, and I learned many skills from him. I know full well that consumer coatings are different from professional coatings (although stuff like Glossit gets darn close), and that I don't know everything. I'm still more knowledgeable than the average consumer and can tell a good product from snake oil.
Dude! Like your level of hyper focus on the smallest issues is crazy. I can only imagine you also have all your socks organized un your chest by color, tall sock, short sock, folded together with the top turned down exactly 3" measured with your ruler. Chill just a bit man.
I have a disc problem!! BIG TIME! Clutch slipping hard! HAHAHAHA😂
Great video. I used to work for Cox Reels in Tempe Arizona
Your garage at 2,000 ft is bigger than my house😅
This is like listening Dwight-Fucking-Schrute himself lol.
37 micro towels
3 gallons non washer wash
And a Speargun in case I see Elon Musk
I got a few things outta this..1this guy's def wears rubbers with his wide.2 he definitely needs a therapists.3he needs to rip off all the PPF and run it through a Haffners drive through everyday of his GT3RS life.4 He has an amazing weapon and machine
Obsessed garage has an ocd with car paints, and here I am saying that when I’m really close to getting my foxbody soon and will probably do the same, with like a 20$ pressure wash nozzle
Listening to this in my rattle caned shitbox rn 👍
Highway Hypnosis Detailing 💯
That Porsche dude needs some meds
Matt is awesome
He sure is. Excited to have him back on soon.
Incredible!!!!
Fun Fact: The Founder of Cox Reels used to own my dad's 2007 Alpina B7 👌
Todd's story sums my backpain.
Old mate. You sound insane. 35:16
OCD/ OML is no joke. There are treatment options available.
I think the la Ferrari is for sale vin 7185 😮
Truly one bad ass garage.. Important notice, read before entering. Showroom not intended for storage.
Your channel is such an amazing experience for me to learn and get to know all about higher end cars and yes sadly I feel a Lamborghini is high end. Amazing job ED!!! Keep it coming please 🙌
That’s not sad at all! However no one said every Lamborghini has a high ticket price.
Some time you need new calipers a friend had a 74 vette the front end would shake when applying the brakes it was dangerous especially when wet he had a new set of calipers I got all the air out installed then it was solid no shimmy.stoped even and straight. Duel or three piston needs to work properly to be safe.my daughter bought a maz.3 piston a grand min.in parts +.try not to use the brakes over 100 mph.its really hard on them if you have to but it will cost a lot.in a race the can just replace parts that day.people don't want to pay that price evey day.try to let the car to slow down then use the brakes.below a 100mph.
Wow. Someone who actually uses their garage the correct way. Lol. Wide and I thoght we were the only ones.
After all, how many Americans use their garage to house cheap Target and Walmart , crap worth a few thousands at most, Inside, but leave vehicles worth tems of thousands, in the driveway, exposed to the elements?
Metal shed kita, and prefab units are cheaper than the depreciation caused by weathering.
The guy at 37:00 is a bit much. However i would love to buy his car if the opportunity ever arises ☻
Hopefully you'll never refer to that car so disrespectfully..
Who the hell would pay all that money for a car that breaks down all the time!
Larry From AmmoNYC and Jim from WhiteDetails would both have a trove of good stories.
Plus, You could help boost to Jim's channel. We all like seeing a quality creator succeed!
Porshe guy needs some real help... that would be terrible having such a negative attitude when he's in a GT3... I hope he finds a good therapist
If you have OCD/ OML, intrusive thoughts that run your life,, or other mental issues that affect your life, get help. For your sake and for your loved ones's sakes.
When someone has a bigger garage than your 🏠 😖
The obsessed garage guy probably isn't the best storyteller for your platform. Just saying, he's the equivalent of eating soggy bread. You're just sitting there like why is this torture happening to me???
Geez
😳😳😳👀👀👀😍😍😍
If you lead a terrible life full of evil deeds anyone who subscribes to the concept of reincarnation can confirm this. You will come back as an employee of the Obsessed guy. If you were truly horrible you would also be early in an English as a second language course.
i respect this page and alll on it but when he said there was no mounts back then tbh i highlt doubt that and one definetly could have been mad just an old head acting like there day was better
Depends and Ben gay cost big time.
Real world problems😅
Stopped watching when the 700 mile Porsche story came up. Ridiculous
He was so disrespectful about that beautiful car.
Second!
Wow it's a car not a women it cant love you back it's a car drive it till it blows up then fix it then drive it into the ground
Obviously your NOT a car guy
