Best Guyanese 🇬🇾 chicken Patties

Guyanese chicken patties are one of my childhood favorite pastries. The flaky buttery pastry filled with ground chicken and veggies is absolutely amazing.
PASTRY INGREDIENTS
4 cups flour
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup butter
1tbsp sugar
1tsp salt
1 cup cold water
FILLING INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup diced onion
1tsp garlic
1 tbsp
1/2 tsp habanero peppers
parsley
1 cup mixed peas
1 tsp chicken bouillon
2 LBS Chicken breast diced
1 tsp Hawaiian sauce
1 tsp kitchen bouquet
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tbsp ground thyme
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dry parsley
1/2 tsp ginger powder

Soon it will be a picture of a Jamaican patty being called guyanese patty. Guyanese meat pie and Jamaican patty are two different things. Even calling it a patty was conceptualised by Jamaicans. An actual patty is something different
