1 bit of trivia that has been reported for Kopilot FPV package buyers is that the manuals supplied with the Kopilot Lite stab have the R and E connections for a V-tail reversed to that shown in the Talon 250G manual. If you take an electron microscope to the paper manual included with the Kopilot you'll see it's because the servos are shown reverse mounted to the Talon 250G. Lots of cursing and hair-pulling! ;-)
I have a talon 250g... All the control surfaces work but the rudder works in the same way as the elevator... They both go up or down not left and right... It has some kind of servo 2 into 1 on the rudder
@@simonwood8685 Plug in your Elevator and Rudder servos as stated in the ZOHD Talon259G manual NOT the Kopilot Lite manual. As stated above they are different! Set your 3-position switch on channel 5 and switch to +100 (Stabilize) position. Place your radio ASIDE until you have set the selector board to V-tail plane and have the Elevator - THAT is the tail surface plugged into the Elevator Kopilot output! - (don't worry about the Rudder yet!) and Ailerons responding in the correct directions as you roll and pitch the plane in your hands.
THEN pick up the radio and check which way they drive each surface and reverse any that require it in the radio.
DO NOT fool around with the radio stick directions BEFORE you have the stab directions correct! Reversing the stab pots also reverses the radio stick directions. Reversing the radio stick directions has NO EFFECT on the stab pot directions!
@@theoztreecrasher2647 thanks for your quick reply really appreciated... I'll have another look at it later.... Been doing my head in lol.... Thanks again... On the two tail servos it has what looks like a servo reverser the two leads from both servos go into it... And that is plugged into the elevator channel on the kopilot.. Nothing is plugged into the rudder channel... I bought it like this.. The previous owner had a flysky receiver... Using pwm... I took that out and swapped it for a crossfire nano... Running s bus... Do I need this reverser thing or do I just plug each tail servo... Into. Elevator and rudder separately

Hi.. if i buy this talon 250g. Can i use dji vista on it? Because now all i have just dji remote controller for my fpv quad. I will need a new fc for it, but is that it? Dji vista unit + fc is enough? Or do i need to buy another parts?

Hi M. Newton, I bought a Nano Talon with a kopilot and using a fs-I6x as a controller. I’M having a problem with the control, rudder and elevator, they are wrong on the control and I’m trying everything and it doesn’t work, so if you have a idea, please let me know, thank you and have a nice day.

Think I'll pass on this one....the central brace seems to be quite vulnerable from other videos I have seen...buggered if I am going to buy a 3d printer to rectify the zohd failings.
