i stumbled on a potential lil gem when browsing newegg , the Sapphire 32316-01-21G GPRO X060 8GB GDDR6 has pretty much the the same specs as the 6600 and its based on the RDNA 2 navi 23 xl architecture but is is shorter. i don't know for the u.s. but here in Canada the cheapest 6600 is still 450+ 20$ shipping plus taxes and the x060 is 252+10$ shipping from canada (234$ U.S.) so it is at the same price range as the 6500xt at 230 +20 for shipping but it is pci-e 4.0 x4 and the x060 is pci-e 4.0 x8 while the 6600 is pci-e 4.0 x16.
i know it was an oem card and it was used mainly as mining card but it has displayport and hdmi so it may be a capable gaming card is it not? as for the memory of the 6600 is at 16gb/sec and the x060 is 16 Gbps also according to specs on newegg it shouldn't impact the performance much . my question is is it worth it to buy this brand new to replace a 1650 4gb i rescued from an acer prebuilt during the scalpocalypse last year lol . im planning to maybe have one ordered in a few days and test it thoroughly , i don't know yet . so the only real differences between those 2 cards are display outputs(2 instead of 4) ,pci-e x8 instead of x16 and there lies my dilema right now... another problem may be drivers for these cards for gaming since they do have video output ports on them and what the system detects them as ....
could be interesting for a new budget build if it is worth it for gaming instead of those going to be e-waste since crypto is dead right now. it might make an interesting subject for making a video for you :)

I'm not sure about being able to use it for gaming, I can't see the drivers with out having one installed in the system, and I think it is like the RX 6400 has it don't seem to have a encoder on it. Not even sure how the BIOS would be set up on the GPU. Here in the US there is some models of the RX 6600 (new) is cheaper then that card is. Thanks for video idea, I'll put some thought into putting out a video about it. Thanks for watching and the comment.

@@DavesTechway pc parts prices are very high here in Canada so a 850$ us build can cost nearly 1200 up to 1400$+ here. pc parts pricing is crazy out of whack here lol and canada computers choses witch parts they allow for online order and otherwise we need to go in store but the closest is 8h away so .... that's a no go for me and it leaves newegg or amazon and the likes for sourcing parts lol prices did go down a bit lately but not much and much later than the us pricing do like 3 to 4 weeks delay sometimes .
the 6400 dont exist for me since i amd put em out for the same reason as the 6500xt and otherwise than using it like a GT 1030 to just get a display out i never saw any real use for these and price is twice too much for what it can do honestly. both 6500 and 6400 are just money grabs at the very low end for me and the it is also the case for the 3050 . all extremely cut down versions like these are not worth the money they sell them for.

i went with a RX 6600 Sapphire Pulse in the end and as usual newegg offered one at 352$CDN +12$ shipping and 30 min later i saw another 6600 a few bucks less with no shipping .... ah newegg ..... lol i ordered it trough a local shop that asks like 10% of price on parts to order and offer me a warranty so if anything happens they deal with it and i get a replacement if needed. Hopefully i'll be able to resell my old GTX 1650 i rescued from an acer nitro prebuilt because now i'm officially poor for now lol and yes pc building in canada is very expensive as you can see lol

The voltage for the IGPU is set through the voltage of the CPU. Thanks for watching and the comment.

i've oc mine at 2000mhz on a asus prime b550m-a wifi directly from the bios with the automatic oc option in the bios of the motherboard and it works great so far. although i would recommend setting at least 4gb maximum of ram for the igpu if you have only 16 gb of ram for more demanding games titles. put no more than 8gb or 1/4 of your system memory as video memory but 4gb is ok for most cases if you have 16gb or more of system ram.
