    Disconnect the rear brakes. Then, get up to speed, mash the brakes, car takes a nosedive, hit the lever - car raises. You'd have to time it right, but it might work.

      I wasn't worried at all! Those office chair shocks were probably made for a global market and the back end of that car weighs less than four average Americans, so the shocks were really overrated for the job.

  • @lilymalacon944
    @lilymalacon944 Год назад +38

    This chair was fairly easy to put together, the instructions were clear and I was about to follow along with no issues at all. It took me about 20 minutes to assemble. ruclips.net/user/postUgkx5hPALGI87E991DRmXev8PUFJGrrRcONS I did stuff the back of the chair with a pillow so it wouldn’t be so hollow after taking all the pieces out but that’s just a personal preference. I also added a pillow for lumbar support because although this is a great chair and is comfortable, it’s not necessarily the best if you’re sitting 10+ hrs a day wfh but in all honesty for the price, I didn’t mind at all. It looks great in my space and easily adjusts the height when needed.

    You build a U shape for the spring to sit in. Connect these chair cylinders to the sides on the top of the U shape and the other ends to the rear axle. This way it will use the spring, but also can change the ridehight. Like this:

    would work better if you used some light rate springs to take the harshness out of it

    I was just wondering. If you fit a house fan blade on the car instead of the radiator fan. I would like to know if it would also keep the engine cool

    Those chairs must also be sold in the US market. They take the weight way too easily.

    How about going the whole hog and replacing all 4 springs and shocks with hydraulic cylinders (Easier to find in larger sizes than pneumatic cylinders), running a valve block to control them individually, and fitting an aircon pump to pressurise them? It wouldn't raise the car very fast, but at least it would be a simple one man job.
