Just replying now. Not with Activision anymore, it pains me to say this, but my health caught up to me and I’ve decided to leave my job and take a vacation with my husband up here in the U.K. Until mid January when I return to the USA. Life has been rough, and I’m in a dark down period in my life, expect another goldeneye level, no ETA, but without a job, I have nothing but time and thoughts, and a lot of pain along the way; another level is in store. Even when you lose everything and have to start with nothing, you have to keep going.

Heya dude, question for you. I was wanting to revisit goldeneye and got an N64 type joystick for the emulation. I remember being pretty decent at these games as a kid but it's practically unplayable for me now. I don't recall the joystick being so incredibly sensitive when aiming, and because it snaps back so quickly it's pretty much impossible to do. Is this just a matter of me needing to re-learn the nuances of the controls or do you tweak the settings somehow to make it play like the original set up? Using project 64.
The issue is the joystick, anything that isn't the real thing will be overly sensitive. If you want the best experience, a Raphnet N64 to USB adapter is the best, it's 1:1 to the real console even supporting rumble and memory paks, but you need an N64 controller for that of course. Another option you can try is to calibrate the current controller within the Windows USB controller settings, then, under input settings on the emulator, try lowering the stick range if it's still too sensitive.
This one is tricky, Standoff and Infil are the reasons; lemme say one thing on Standoff: After entering the base, kill the 3 guards and go LEFT (forget the door on the right for now) and watch the cutscene. After it finishes, go back from where you came and go for that door - usually there will be a guard on Bond's DAM clothes with dual ZMGs, if not there he's on the base entrance (rarely unavailable, like 90% of not being) so shot him. After you'll hear something like "YEYE TO GRASLU", just follow the map until you'll reach a end with 2 doors on both sides (elevator door, normal door) so open the elevator door, WAIT THE GUY TO PULL 2 PINK GUNS AND KILL HIM FOR 2 ROCKET LAUNCHERS (he'll say 'how dare you interrupt my Graslu time' and something more) .. that's it; also the target record for it is 02.25 (same as Surface) and I've got 02.20 without internal and external hacks (I can prove both runs if necessary)
I'd like to see your runs, doesn't have to be super fast, I just love watching people run my levels :). Hit me up if you ever post a speed-run, help busy my mind from my current car situation

How do these people make these custom campaigns I want to make a custom campaign not just a custom level, is n64 vault complete yet, last time I went to the website it said it was under construction
N64 Vault is as-is. These mods are made with the GoldenEye Setup Editor, Blender, and some other programs to make the graphics. It's a very complicated process to explain just in a comment.
@@Graslu00 the intro is sped up. The games logo is literally a copy of bad fur day. The textures don't look right. The first levels font is spaced incorrectly. The first levels music is one thats already in the game, just slowed down. How would bond even have gotten in that area behind the crates anyway? If he had dropped in from above he would most likely be seen. Is that enough for you or need I go on?

This also happens in the "actual game" and there's nothing wrong with it in gameplay. - There's nothing wrong making a reference to another franchise. - The textures are the same as the original game - The spacing is added on purpose. - That is indeed the music being slowed down, so? - Why are you trying to find logic in a mod for a game where Bond jumps off a Dam without any bungee cord, or where Natalya suddenly gets kidnapped right next to Bond in Streets?
