This video just makes me realize how many of the coasters here are blue! Electric Eel, Journey to Atlantis, and Emperor all right next to eachother!
Manta is also blue lol

I remember when this ride first opened in Orlando. I loved it! They really need to bring back that original storyline. It was way better!

those blue little buildings make look small on video, but trust me you can see those and the ride from the parking lot. its massive

This seems a bit more “thrilling” than the one in Orlando, but no where near the charm
The Orlando ride is much better themed, but as an actual ride, this one has the edge due to the better coaster section :)
I'm upset they removed the old voice and the elevator video animation of the dolphins and whale
Never got to experience the ride with either of those features, but it does sound pretty neat.

I went on this ride back in 2009. The story was WAY better back then.

@@derrickscott4039 There was a greater emphasis on the mythology behind Atlantis, and less of a whimsical take on an archaeological expedition that would make actual archaeologists shake their heads.

When I first went to Atlantis I was scared but now it’s not bad to me
Seems like Journey to Atlantis has 3 different versions. One from Orlando has the best theming one, and one from San Diego is the most thrilling one, and one from San Antonio has the highest drop by 98 feet. Tell me if this was accurate or not.
From a coaster point of view, the San Diego model is probably our favourite 🙂

The theming for the Orlando used to be even better when they had a storyline in it, but for some strange reason, they took it out -.-

When do you go to sea world?
I remember the first time I rode this I was so scared but looking at now it’s such an easy ride
We've been quite a few times 🙂 It's still a really good water coaster. The 2nd section of the ride is great, it picks up speed pretty rapidly coming out of the lift doors.

Last time I went here, the towers were more of a cream color, while the tops were still blue! Makes me wonder how much Seaworld changed

3:35 is the elevator!!
I went on it yesterday it was so scary during the elevator part and I was in front seat too! So I got my pants SUPER wet and I do remember going in 2021 also it did sorta changed I wasn't that scared this time though beacuase it was my 2nd time so I was kinda used to it.

Not gonna lie, the Orlando version is way better
They both have their own charm. We prefer the theming on the Florida ride, but prefer the coaster section on this version.
The Orlando one is better looks like they saved a few bucks not having it inside on this one.
