I have not tried the Pink Stuff,but I honestly think Barkeeper’s Friend works best with a cloth rag instead of a textured green scrubby. Since the BKF is a powder it gets trapped in the texture of the scrubby, reducing it’s contact with the surface you are cleaning. But with a smooth sponge or cloth, you get the full scouring power of the tiny particles. Also, BKF does an amazing job cleaning my flattop (glass top) electric stove. Once the cooktop is all cleaned with a damp cloth and BKF, just buff with a dry cloth or paper towel for a lovely shine!
I agree with many of the comments that I’ve seen. You guys are like family. I don’t think you realize that for your true and loyal followers you are family to us. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. I hope to be seeing you back on Wednesday nights again soon. don’t forget I told my husband it’s my Bible study time so that he’ll leave me alone for that couple hours.😆
Been missing you & hoping & the fam are ok. I've had success using EasyOff on the bottom of my pans and the edge of a cookie sheet.
I use a damp rag with BKF or even a paper towel. It needs the friction with the powder. I don’t add any additional water to the powder that is sprinkled the damp pot/pans and just use the powder plus the damp rag. I have stainless steel pots and pans that are over 30 years old and look almost new.
I must be the only person who reads label instructions. The BKF label says to rinse thoroughly within one minute of application because it's acidic, so that's what I've always done, with excellent results every time. Your pants clearly didn't seem to suffer from the 10 min soak.

Never heard of the pink stuff until your videos thanks for the video. I have used bar keepers friend.
We've used Bar Keeper's Friend and it works everything and it's not expensive. You don't have to use so much either, just some good elbow grease.
I use a metal pad to clean things off, with Bar Keeper's Friend. I know it costs more. but you don't have to use as much, because it works so much better.
Hahaha This cracks me up. Yeah bars, keepers friend is not gonna work if you scrub with just your fingertips instead of using your hand pressure like you did with that pink stuff. Lol. Yea, Sticking with my barkeepers friend, that does work better than ANYTHING I’ve used.

@@suzannortega6671 A couple of days ago before the Wednesday live they posted a statement not a video which said they didn’t know when they’d have another live because they had a major family emergency. They have not divulged what it is. A lot of times they have videos set up to upload on a certain day far and in the future so that’s probably why this video is posted And it doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re back to their regular schedule. I know a lot of people have been praying for this family. I hope this answer some of your questions.

The pink stuff is more expensive than bkf? I got a container of the pink stuff at dollar tree. I love when you do these!
You need 100%steel wool ,not from 1$ store product,as that don't work at all.Besides Atomy and Amway:I don't know what store carries it. Saves you in time and labour
I'd call it a toss up since the amount of BK's F you had to use vs. the amount of Pink Stuff makes BK'sF a bit costly. I've used both but lately, I favor BK'sF. Pull it out, shake it on, scrub, rinse, done.
BKF is about half the price of the pink stuff, I think, which probably makes it mostly a wash. I'm a HUGE BKF fan myself, won't use anything else on my sink, pots and pans, and even on my vintage Pyrex when I get a 'new' piece that needs years of crud cleaned off (I only use it the once, not all the time, on the Pyrex, and I use the liquid instead of the powder!). It works every time.

@@memekendall3197 The Bar Keeper's Friend that I use is the 'soft' BKF, the liquid form. It also comes in powder form, but I like the liquid for my Pyrex, it's less abrasive. The powder is probably better for pot bottoms. But both versions are less than $3 at Walmart and Target online.

I use the one that has the chick on the packaging, the guy who installed our sink and counters, told me to use it, so for 18 years is what I use. 😊

Hmm. Why not just use Comet or Ajax? It’s the outside of the pan and MUCH less expensive than either tested item.

My pans never get that dirty, did you get these at the thrift store to do the demo.
My first thought was that the pans are from a thrift store. I can't imagine she would let her pans get that dirty.
And I'll be keeping an eye out for quality pans at thrift, that just need a good cleaning. Now I know they can be saved.
I learned this lesson about hand washing from a young man on youtube, I always rinse my pans according to what I cook in them dairy, cheese eggs etc cold water and oil fats etc hot keeping this in mind when I buy something used that needs cleaned up from overcooking I fill the sink w/ just hot water and vinegar and let it soak a bit then rinse make a paste from BKF and smear it on whey the paste is almost dry I come back with a metal scrubby and scrub into a soapy sudsy wash then riy with hot water and dry with a microfiber fluffy towel like you use on a car of course I only buy stailess steele pans but my pans look like they did when I bought them over 20 yrs ago and my husband has cooked them nlack many times on our gas stove lol😂 now I ' m the culprit and he gets it right 😅 just saying BKF has alwYs worked for me and I try to compare whenever something different is suggested but this test seems to have =results to me😊
Forgot to tell you using the cold and hot water according to what I cook usually completely removed all the residual food , sometimes I have to do cold then hot then wash and rinse 😊 but mostly it sprays clean 😊
