As someone used to the idea of “innocent until PROVEN guilty”, seeing so many netizens jump on the hate train trying to cancel Soojin based off accusations sickened me. All those people shaming her for the idea of her bullying, while they essentially bullied her out of the group. Like they were even pissed at Cube for just trying to celebrate her birthday while she was on hiatus. I will never understand how “we hate bullies so much that we’re gonna bully them!” makes any sense to these people.

I liked every (G)i-dle song when Soojin was part of the group, after she left I only liked Dark X-files and Tomboy was alright.

@@vixxexo6855 I mainly think it's because they didn't think they could pull off concepts they did before with soojin, like imagine oh my god or senorita without soojin, it just wouldn't feel the same. (But shuhua does do an amazing job covering her parts) soojin has that vibe in those songs that no one can fill, so gidle had to adapt, also it's because they probably want to try something new. they also three songs for her in their i never die album; polaroid, escape, and already (maybe liar too?). gidle has a no skip discography

she and the members went through so much that year the rumors started. not to mention, yuqi and minnie made songs to represent soojin in the i never die album. yuqi wrote polaroid and minnie wrote escape. the fact that the i feel album had a whole version based off of her tattoos, with the album being based off of butterflies and the color blue, explains how much they miss her.
recently, cube created a “shuhua show”. the most recent episode had shuhua as the mc and the other members just sitting there being interviewed. she found a way to hint at soojin by saying “one member is missing… i told you guys to come as a whole group” and the members all broke character. it’s as if everyone knew what she was thinking about. soyeon replied to shuhua by saying “something bad happened to her”, which makes it even MORE obvious
there’s not enough words in the dictionary to explain how happy i am for soojin atm, she’s been through so so so much these past few years and has came back *better than ever* ❤️🍒
I’m still pissed that she was forced to leave, she always stood out the most to me and there was never any ‘real’ proof, smoking and drinking as a teenager does not mean she was a bully. also there is an important and cute detail in my opinion, in her first instagram post, she posted flowers, more specifically trumpet creepers. These flowers symbolise waiting, in korea the flower means, "Even if the world falls apart and the earth splits up, I will only wait for you." I'm 100% sure this has something to do with her leaving, like she's saying 'thank you for being by my side even when my world split up, even when I felt like I was at the end' I love soojin sm for this 😭

Don't take this the wrong way, I think that we should begin to separate Soojin from Gidle (I wish she was back too I know) but we should still appreciate the music they make and not imminently comment "This would be Soojins line" ect. because if I was Idle and someone said that I'd feel terrible and it's just something no one should feel, especially since Idle has experienced this loss way more then we have. We should continue supporting Idle and Soojin in what they do and directions they take but also take note that we shouldn't pry on their lives and for example not talk so much about theories about Soojin coming back to the entertainment industry because then she may feel like she's being forced into it but also know that Korea is different from where ever you live and she probably won't return to the industry.

I’ve seen some real bullies making their way back into the industry (*cough* Ryu Hwa Young *cough*) so I think it is possible for idols like Soojin and Garam who are proven not to be guilty to be back if they want to. Fingers crossed and no matter what I hope Soojin is happy living her life.

I don't have high hopes for her returning to the industry after they mistreated her that horribly, but if she wanted to I'm certain (G)I-DLE would welcome her back with open arms. Just imagine the power of levelled up Shuhua and Soojin combined! We'd be DEAD in an instant. I also feel like, considering their every release since Soojin left has been criticism towards the industry and social media, that if she were to re-join they'll directly adress her haters and have a comeback dedicated to false accusations. Since it's happening so often I can only think that maybe this really is a case of jealousy from ex school friends or students who went to school with them because maybe they themselves have not gone on to have an amazing career so they are trying to ruin them.
