    My wife wanted a cordless vacuum. I bought her one of these. We can do all the floors with one 5.0 battery. The downside is I’ve lost two batteries from the garage to go to the vacuum.

    So happy to see your videos back in my feed! I bought the m12 one of these, complete garbage. Swapped it out for one of these in the truck and the wife stole it a year ago. It's the house stick vac and works great. Unfortunately I'm back with the m12 in the service truck.

    Hey mike long time viewer, and I know this is more a general question rather than a question based on your videos. But as an industrial electrician will I be working on PLCs a lot. I'm really not a fan but I enjoy motors and troubleshooting, and I want to go the industrial route for my apprenticeship but I'm not sure, since i'm not really a fan of plc or computer stuff in general. Or should I do commercial or residential installations and maintenance.

    Just had to use one doing some 4 in cores. Had to empty twice per hole lol awful vac. My recommendation is a mini shop or rigid vac. There really isnt a good battery powered one for a reasonable price that functions.

    How good is it for fine fine fine particulates ie cement dust cause i could of used one today trying to unfuck a hoist that had plcs and drives in a box with at least 3 tons of cement in it., also might be usefull for the endless battle of cleaning the starter buckets in the pack house

    Glad you’re back Mike! I don’t know what it is exactly, but there is something your channel has that I really like and other tool channels just don’t have it. I think it might be a kind of “girl next door” vibe. No cheesy animations or editing, none of the clickbaity obsession with gaining subscribers, just a dude in his shed/garage talking about useful shit. What I am trying to say is, I’ve missed you boo!
    Did the succubus take the shed or are you just being a good son?

    • @athhud
      @athhud 5 лет назад +1

      upside downdog how do those pneumatic vacs compare to something like a 1.5 gallon corded shop vac? I’ve had one in my shopping cart more than once, but never closed the deal. I’ve never used one and don’t want to buy something that isn’t any better than what I’ve already got.

      Depending on who makes it they can be quite powerful, more than my small Shop Vac for sure. Mina Vac made in Escondido, CA is my favorite. My other one came off of the MATCO truck and is also quite good but rather large.

    • @athhud
      @athhud 5 лет назад +1

      I think the one I was looking at was a bluepoint. It was about $75 on eBay and was more than I was willing to gamble on whether or not I would like it. I figured they were all pretty much the same. I would think there is only one way to design an efficient air vac and that everyone would do it that one way, like a siphoning blowgun... Guess I need to research it a bit.
