    Exactly my point, back buttons isn't only for first person shooters. I used my back buttons in Souls games to dodge and use it to replace the thumb clicks, that takes strains away from your thumbs and preserve the longevity of the thumbsticks.

      I HATE thumb clicks, ever since I first played games that had it, its always either too sensitive or not sensitive enough, when I want to press it, I don't, and when I don't want to press it, I do
      if I got this, Id just set it up as thumb clicks for every single game, and leave it like that

    I have to point out that I pre ordered this controller on Amazon an I got it as soon as it became available to the public and as soon as I got it, I plugged it into my Xbox and found the ultimate software on Xbox. Maybe it wasn't available at the time he reviewed it because he got it early, but it's available on Xbox at this time.

    I bought this controller a while ago and absolutely love it. I bought an official series x controller for like 70 bucks and a used Xbox one controller around the same price as this one and both controllers had stick drift in less than a year. This one saves me batteries and I'm not afraid to beat the snot out of it. So far so good

    The only minor thing I never liked about 8bitdo is the App from Android as it needs your location to being able to remap your controller? So if you disable it, the app would just not work, rather than that I love their controllers and other accessories, I do think the cables may be way better if they were larger but that's just a preference (on wireless controllers I may add)

    • @guitaroach
      @guitaroach 2 года назад +9

      > 8bitdo app needs your location
      From what I remember, This is not an 8bitdo specific requirement. Like you, I thought it was strange that remapping my controller would require my GPS to be on. It is an Android-specific thing where some wireless connections are tied to location services for whatever reason. Someone more knowledgeable about modern Android requirements would be able to explain it further, but this is a rough explanation for this situation.

    what about the placement of the d-pad? I wanted to buy this primarly for dpad games, but the position of this new ones dpad is weird, and probly doesn't feel the best to play at
    (kinda like how an xbox controller feels when using the dpad)

      It is ALMOST as if they tried to copy an Xbox controller. But i'm just guessing here. Who would actually know, right? I mean, 8bitdo would not actually copy the xbox controller design, would they? And then advertise it that way?? Nah, no way...
