Awesome!! You should do the disco stick/disco torch with its different lighting features from Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball Tour. Made by Tom Talmon Studio. Amazing work!! :)
Thank you for this! I am planning on making one for the Chromatica Ball concert! On a scale of 1-10 how difficult is this to make for a beginner? I’m so excited to get started! 🤗
It’s hard to say, the mask itself is made of cardboard and foam so a crafter should be familiar with that construction process. The LED matrix requires familiarity with electronics, soldering, and programming, or at least familiarity with uploading code. You can find my code on the blog but I didn’t write a tutorial because it would be too much effort to explain. There are links to my resources tho! Good luck with your project. 🙂
wow awesome video! i have fond memories going to fan expo and even did a 25th anniversary video on my channel! It was quite sad to see however life before the pandemic!
But real talk I used a different matrix for my version. I left a comment on your blog post and I really hope you get back to me! Thank you ❤️ I’m planning on re making it
@@TechnoChic I used a much larger matrix from a different company but I already purchased those exact matrix from adafruit I just don’t know how to code them. I see that at one point the itsy bitsy is connected to the blue black and grey wires but I can’t see where it’s connected in the back
Thanks! No, moisture wasn't an issue. The mask was open below so there was no air trap like the medical masks we've been using for disease control. When I went out on Halloween, I wore a cloth mask underneath to be safe. :)
You nailed this one - great work! WE featured the LED Matrix Mask in this week's episode of The Electromaker Show! Listen to our thoughts here: ruclips.net/video/0SjUDn8sO5A/видео.html
Firstly with sincerely no insult intended: allow me to say that you are of the few that the "obligation to use a mask" has worked in favour of.. As attractive as you are overall: Your eyes are outstanding and very much add to the impressiveness of your final products presentation. That said: Albeit you have had a good example of "what is to be done" mapped out in-front of you thanks to the shares of the original crew... You seem to have a VERY well streamlined method mapped out for it. In plain site it may seem as you just looked/copied. But in reality you have done so much more work than what your humble presentation has left us spectators to think. Thank you so much for sharing this and the many other projects... May you and your channel grow as best as they may. I shall be forwarding your channel to my son to subscribe to ... He is actually a good bit younger than yourself as of yet but is hoping to go for mechatronics in his graduate studies (yet in highschool). The manner you have made your project (this and the few other actually. I just felt need to write to this one as since it was the one that brought me to you from the Instructables) presentation is very much an influential outline of how much fun it is to engineer such things. All the best for you and thank you for your time and effort... Sıo VERY appreciated!
Heya! This one is amaizing, i have 2 questions. 1. Can the mask change colors like Gaga's? 2. Are you going to sell them? They are so cool and i want one for her tour
Thanks! Yes, I could choose to change the colors in the code. I went to an election- celebration party and turned it blue!!! (look back in my Instagram feed to see). I’ve had many requests to buy them. I don’t have the bandwidth to make more at this time, but thanks for asking!
Thanks for uploading. Like cover songs? If you have a second, I just uploaded an acoustic cover of Ed Sheeran. As a fellow music fan, I'd love if you would check it out. It's on my page. Hope you enjoy!
We absolutely love this recreation of our mask!!! You killed it⚡️⚡️ Keep up the good work!😁
Thanks So Much! ❤️❤️❤️ Thanks for making such an amazing original design! ❤️💥✨
so well done!
😄Thank you!
That brain piano costume is pretty cool! 😉😎🎹🧠
Yeah it is... so is that guy inside it. :p
Such a cool project :) I demand endless adafruit freebies to be send to you :D
Thanks so much! :-D
Impressive.
Both the end project and all the research that went into it.
Thank you! 🤓
Awesome!
Such a great tutorial!! Can’t wait to see the VMA costume tutorial!!🖤💖⚔️💖🖤
Thanks! I’m working on it now, But the holiday schedule is full so I’ll probably publish it in January. 😊⚡️🥳

Thank you! Yes - That would be so cool. I need to start thinking about this year's Halloween Costume soon!
Great work! This turned out so good!
Thank you!!
So amazing work Natasha, keep on going!!!
Thank you! 😊
Despite all the elaborate detective tech reverse-engineering, I still got excited when the cardboard came out.
OHH, 3 inch circles! Great work!
Haha I replace pretty much every material with cardboard these days. 🤓 &Thanks!
Thank you for this, omg!!!
Yay, go Natasha!!
That’s a really cool mask. The concept would make a neat robot “mouth” too.
It totally would! I should experiment with some more animations. :)
@@TechnoChic now I need to make ANOTHER Adafruit order, sigh!

I made a replica of this mask last year. This video would have been helpful. Still got it done tho.
Nice! Did you use the DotStar matrices or something else?

@@TechnoChic thank you 😭
Will you still be sharing a video for the catsuit?
Ahhh yes! It has been on my backburner but I will share soon!
awesome build. Out of curiosity was moisture a problem at all?
Thanks! No, moisture wasn't an issue. The mask was open below so there was no air trap like the medical masks we've been using for disease control. When I went out on Halloween, I wore a cloth mask underneath to be safe. :)
I want oneeeeee, would you build another one and I purchase it?!
😎 So glad you like it so much! Shoot me a message on Instagram (technochic) and we’ll chat. :)

Hey! Thanks so much for sharing my project! I just found your channel and Subscribed - what a great show! 🤓❤️
So Amazing 🤩 I would love this mask for Halloween. Would you make some for sale ?
Thank you! It would be expensive, but it possible! Message me on Instagram if you would like to chat about it. Thanks!
